But where is mid calf? Where she said was mid calf was not where I thought it was *@Templetreebalm*. . I would have thought mid calf was about 4/5 inches below my knee, a length that doesn’t suit me. I am just curious what length they are on others and where mid calf is considered to be. I don’t think k they were mid calf on the model. I’ll have to look at the Ashley jeans.

Mid calf is in the middle of the calf not mid lower leg length. By that I would take mid calf to be fairly low on the leg not 4/5 inches below the knee where the calf begins. Thats upper calf Which trousers are we talking about? The check culottes were midcalf and the blue cropped

My legs are very long though so yours might be where you think they are . 4/5 inches covers the back of my knee to top of my calf. Other leg lengths are available

Just spotted this pale yellow checked dress from Toast in Sunday Times Style, it looks lovely! Pricey but not eye watering (£160). Hopefully there will be a few new pieces in store for when the shops reopen, so looking forward to shopping IRL again, and can totally see myself wearing this with either flat sandals or wedges on hot summer days 😎

I have a few beautiful dresses from the JL sales frenzy last year that I never got round to wearing. Am looking forward to wafting this summer.

Same here. Though today is distinctly not wafting weather...!

I am back to aToast Mira jumper , cords and a long vest under today.. One day last week I wore shorts and a tee out working in the garden !

I have not worn my yellow Linen tunic dress yet.. though I did have the last years Zoya dress on for wafting around the house and sitting in the the conservatory on Saturday..

Reading the 'quality' thread on S&B has made me think ..
Do you think that Toast quality has changed much for the worse recently ?

I did balk at the price for the Elena shirt , but have decided to order it after all .. Sadly I couldn't find an alternative I liked which was cheaper ...... and then I ended up on the Margaret Howell website looking at her lovely long-line khaki shirt , and suddenly the Toast shirt didn't seem too expensive after all!

I do kick myself though , that I didn't go to the MH outlet when I was in York last year ..( I am definitely planning another trip up there!) I am now thinking that when we next go away in the campervan, I may look for a site near Toast outlet in Shepton Mallet ! Oh look, DH, this looks interesting

Did you pay for your Toast Post Pass or was a previous free one renewed?
I haven't had any notification of my previous free one continuing and it's now expired. I have spent a LOT of money with them in the last year and will feel a bit miffed if others are continuing to be rewarded with Kindred Club etc.

Hello NocureforLove , no I did not pay for it ( never have ). I did buy quite a lot of items last year but not a ridiculous amount ( and virtually all were sale items ). I’d ask them on the live chat if you can be added ! Sounds like an oversight. They should reward those of us who are long standing and loyal Toasties

I got an email renewing mine about a week ago. I would definitely do the chat with them.

I am part of kindred too.

I did pay for mine when it ran out and now have a kindred email giving me a free one !! sadly no refunds though because id used it twice..

Also I am still not getting emails with order details.. Toast say they are sending them but they haven't come through.. On chat i asked for the latest one to be resent to another address which they say they did.. but nope, still nothing.. I have a BTinternet address.. Anyone else had a problem ? (I have had other marketing emails from Toast ,)
No invoice in the last package , and Toast say the email is your receipt.. .....but no good if I'm not getting them !!... ..

Sigh.... was so much better before they changed system !!

...I have now ordered the navy striped linen half sleeve jumper from JL has anyone else tried it? ..

Despite vowing that I had already over-spent my 2021 Toast budget I put in a large order on 1 April and have received a despatch notification email today. I will have to send at least some of it back so will be testing out the returns process.

My Ikat top arrived today, that was almost 2 weeks. No note for returns in it. But despite the fact it’s probably not worth the money I’m keeping it. Perfect fit for me, lovely for summer. Beautifully finished seams. If you could sew you probably could make one but I can’t. It’s the sort of thing you could pull out every summer for years.
The yellow (?) dress @Saurus72posted looks lovely but like many of you I have plenty of dresses so I’m going to say I’m done for now,

Here is the linen striped jumper.. JL sent me the XL in error instead of the L I ordered,( as reviews said that it came up small) and it does.. its exactly the same size as last years linen jumper in M!
Expensive but I am keeping it anyway ..

Looks nice Laska but no way looks an XL 🤨 Toast sizes are so peculiar!
