Hello all Toasties , a new Toast thread for us to discuss clothes and life..

Here's to new beginnings and a more hopeful Spring when we can get out and wear our lovely things.

I think that they have stopped doing Mention me also ..

@Laska2Meryls I can see my order that I placed after the website changed, but it is not the first on the list. They seem to not be in date order. Mine says “unfulfilled”. I still have my received a despatch note, so would be interested to hear what they tell you.

Me too @Laska2Meryls. Nothing re my order. You would have thought they’d have a few made to order things ready to go, otherwise it could be months and months.

Hi just a chat conversation.. it seems that they are still dispatching orders from last week and have a backlog due to the new site ..

Also I confirmed that when you order on new website they now take the money on order and not dispatch (I had checked on my credit card and raised that).
I had a good moan but that's the way it works now it seems .. .
The phone lines are back up now though they say .

I was thinking of ordering something else .. I think that i may wait for a bit now..

I found my unfulfilled order too scottishmouse was quite a way down the list !

Sounds like some teething problems. You gals are doing us a public service by testing it out!

Just received my despatch email. Hopefully will arrive on weds.

I placed an order on Saturday, no further contact from Toast yet .....

Just got dispatch message.. a week later .. let's hope that its teething problems only..

Puts me right off tbh. I like to have things delivered in a few days. Not a week later!

I too ordered something and I'm only commenting because it's going to be delivered by 48hr royal mail. When that is going to take place is still anybody's guess. I placed the order on the 25th. 2 days ago got the email from toast to say how it would be delivered and giving a royal mail tracking link. The link however says royal mail is still waiting for the parcel from toast.

Anyhoo, I did go ahead and place my order for two skirts! Although they're too expensive fire my budget I thought I would at least try them on. If I love them I'll keep them unworn for a month to see if they do put on a sale. I'd they don't then I'll send one back.

I checked Royal Mail tracking this morning and it looks like my order is going to be delivered today. Ordered last Tuesday, dispatch email this Monday. I used to always get an email and a text from Royal Mail to tell me when Toast parcels were coming, but none this time.

Per tracking mine is still in Swansea but Royal Mail text a few days ago says it’s being delivered today. I’ll not hold my breath.

FingerofFudge Tbh I just fold them and put on shelf in cupboard, lucky have never had a moth problem, but looking at it, this guide looks useful

I store expensive ones folded in a large Really Useful Box, with loads of anti-moth tablets from Lakeland. Touch wood never had a moth problem and they keep their shape. Cheaper supermarket ones I just roll and stuff on a shelf in the wardrobe.

Hopefully mine will be here tomorrow ( according to the post office)
But atm Toast have over £200 of mine waiting to be refunded (from the old site)
I wont be ordering anything else until thats sorted ..

I ordered something from Seasalt last Friday and it’s already here.

@AFingerofFudge I store my lambswool, cashmere etc. In Lakeland plastic clothes bags, they seal with a slider zip.
Then I put a lavender anti moth sachet in with each one. Plus moth sachets in each drawer.
I’ve lost a few beautiful things to moths so now I take precautions.

I'm wishing I had checked the thread before I ordered the Fracap Eve sandals last night! Looks like I'm in for a long wait and potentially complicated returns process if they don't fit ☹️ Has anyone else ordered these?

I can now report back on delivery & returns. Parcel arrived this morning. No invoice or returns label inside. Filled out online form and got a qr code to use at the post office.

I've just cancelled my order, using the online chat service. Today is 6 days after I placed the order and no despatch note or confirmation to date. I'm not willing to wait so long for clothes to be delivered. Toast used to be super efficient, even in the worst days of the pandemic.

I agree @Gonegrey31 they were so fast that I could order things in the sale and send back incorrect sizes and reorder while the sale still had lots of stock left.

This is really disappointing now.
