Yes @Laska2Meryls. I don’t know about returns. I didn’t notice it was made to order when I bought it .
It was only available in a small when I ordered so fingers crossed it’s ok.
I presume they only order so many at a time hence oos, I mean do they put in an order for x small, x medium,x large. So they only order say two dozen at a time. I don’t imagine it’s like someone buys one so they order 1 . Really don’t know. I am now wondering how long it takes, not that we’ve the weather for it at the moment.

Toast have changes the way they work it seems , orders now come through Shopify rather than direct from Toast . (I may have ordered another linen shirt ) ..

It feels rather sad and a bit cheapened tbh.. but I suppose they have restructured and no longer have their own sales or finance team ..

I wonder if we will still get notifications from them and Kindred pre sale access..

This means that their returns process has changed also .. it looks like you will have to fill out forms online to get a label ..
This is from their new website ..

^For items purchased online on or after 23 March 2021:
Please visit returns.toa.st and follow the instructions provided. We cannot accept returns in person at our warehouse. We offer free returns on all UK orders except on earrings and sale-only orders. Sale-only orders can be returned using our returns service but a charge of £3 will be levied. If you have any problems booking a return, please contact our customer service team on 0333 400 5200.^

SO ..They are now going to charge £3 to return sale orders , (I presume any old labels wont work now ..that's annoying I have always kept mine for sale time! )

Shopify means that they do not host their own website as its hosts for them , I think that's why it changed yesterday . if it is centralised ordering and returns they possibly wont be using their own warehouse any longer . I hope this wont impact n the time it takes for refunds to come through

BTW countmeout I was just looking through the T&Cs ( to see what else had changed , and it definitely says Made to Order stuff is not returnable Hmm

..And it looks like returns are only through DHL now.. I jolly well hope not and we can still use the post office. My nearest DHL drop off point is 20 miles away.. Angry I wish id known that before I ordered just now ..

Oh no! I don’t like the sound of all these changes at all. I placed an order yesterday, and will definitely need to return some as I ordered multiple sizes. I wonder how the return labels will work, as I don’t have any access to a printer to print one. I need to have a read.

When I try to look at the returns info, it keeps defaulting me to the European page. My DHL is also miles away @Laska2Meryls - but usually if I have to return something via DHL I just call a number/book online and they come and collect - no charge. Perhaps Toast will have a similar system in place? I hope so!

Well, I got a reply from Toast with a reactivation email, but having done that I still cannot log in to my account. They also didn’t answer my question about returns. Hmm

i talked to them on the online chat ScottishMouse then I had them online whilst they did it and I logged back in.. might be easier ? Annoying though and a bit of a mess up.. I wonder if they will have to for that for everyone?

Yes I was on online chats while it was reset @ScottishMouse @Laska2Meryls.
Dipped into various returns things today ( not a great one for the detail) couldn’t see that Royal Mail wasn’t going to be used. It also said beside made to order stuff gives a timescale but it doesn’t . I asked on online chat and she couldn’t find an answer. My payment has come out of my account already . If I don’t get the dispatch email by Monday there’ll be a stiff conversation to be had.

I used the online chat to request a reactivation email - this has now worked. My interlocutor on the chat line kept apologising for keeping me waiting, she/he was obviously fielding numerous calls simultaneously.

My account is back up and running with no problems and full account history.

I'm also a bit taken aback by the current prices though...will wait for a sale. And would not risk anything made to order given the fact that I have variety of sizes in my Toast wardrobe and all items fit.

I am really hoping that RM is still going to be used..it was just that all I could see last night was the DHL stuff , ( followed the link on the returns page but maybe I was on the EU page also.. )
Ill know when my linen shirt arrives - the Yana one ..

@Countmeout have you clarified returns policy for made to order stuff? When it first appeared on old website it was No Returns HmmShockHmm which seems complete madness.

Got my account sorted on the chat. They also confirmed that there will be a choice of return options given, including printing a label or getting a qr code. This will be Royal Mail.

@NoCureForLove no I am none the wiser. Wish I’d used PayPal now. But that top I ordered is a style I would buy. Counting on sizing being as was for I would buy Small in most things. The neckline is like a dress I bought on eBay ( which is too big in a 12- needs a few nips and tucks to work) so I am hoping I’ve guessed the size ok..
anyhoo I’ve just been to M and S and bought a linen shift dress midi length with pockets admittedly linen viscose mix but still very Toast like. I need to tweak the side buttons on one side (I somehow have a fatter side 😂) due to lockdown weight but hopefully that will resolve it, great for a warm day .

In a Toast/Seasalt mix today, Toast Japanese shirt and Seasalt wide leg cords. Was very happy with quality and cost of the cords. Brought two pairs in different colours and have worn a lot.

I have numerous dresses from seasalt. Lovely quality. It all depends upon how you wear things. I dont lke how they style them in the catalogue mostly but i watched a few videos on their website and the models look fab!
