Hello all Toasties , a new Toast thread for us to discuss clothes and life..

Here's to new beginnings and a more hopeful Spring when we can get out and wear our lovely things.

Which pinafore is this please? There are four on Toast's website. I love the new shaped denim one but all sizes above 8 are sold out.

Its the new shaped denim one! Is it oos already? I am sure they will get more. They usually do.

Is it the a line pinafore you're all after? Because if so, they have it in all sizes on John Lewis

well its been over a week and Toast still haven't sorted out the refund that they messed up, (which they emailed me about and asked me to call them on the contact number that has a message on it to say that it is is not working!! . Ive 'online talked' with them , I've emailed(3 times!) , I've made a paypal case .. all to no avail..it just all gone dead
so I am now going to try emailing the CEO Suzie de Rohan Willner direct
Any ideas how I can get her email address? Do you think Susiedrw@Laska2Meryls

The olive cord dress arrived ( the Philippa Perry one) .. sadly its just not 'me' (or 'me enough to spend £150 on) so going back .. but atm I wouldnt want to give them any more of my money anyway!

Go on to the online chat and ask to speak to someone in person or a contact phone number. Say you are angry and noone is responding. If they dont deal with you, post on twitter publicly.

Take their name btw[ They hate that as they are accountable] and say if you dont get your refund sorted asap you will post negative feedback on twitter and face book and any other media platform you can think of.

I had an issue with a refund on amazon from an item i hadnt received for a month. They refunded me there and then, His whole attitude changed when i referred to him by name.

If you’ve exhausted all other options I would perhaps try Instagram? The Toast CEO is also on LinkedIn which could be an option.
I had to contact Jigsaw today because I ordered a jacket (70% off!) but when it arrived it was so huge it was unwearable. I returned, but also contacted them to cancel a second jacket I had ordered because I suspect it will be just as huge. They couldn’t have been more fantastic - really ‘on it’, polite, did what they promised to do. So good customer service is clearly possible in lockdown.

Also, new things have been added to the Toast website but nothing appeals except the denim wrap pinafore. But can’t buy anything else until payday 🙄

@Laska2Meryls - so sorry you're having problems - hope they get sorted out. Can you also leave a review on the item of clothing in question? They def read those

Love the denim wrap dress and the layered print poplin dress though..

Faustina I quite liked the cord dress, but it wasnt £150 like ....

£60 or £75 JL price nice, but I dont think its £150 nice,... Not sure that its really my colour or that id wear it much atm.. I would probably reorder if it is in the summer sale at a decent price though

The denim wrap dress is just stunning too. Its so unusual.

The indigo denim twill trousers ! £215!😲 .
.ffs !! And they have made the lovely really attractive model wearing the Alpaca striped cardigan look absolutely terrible in it!

Thank you @Fortherosesjoni70, I ordered the denim pinafore from John Lewis in a 10 and a 12 as I was afraid they wouldn't restock at Toast: they are arriving tomorrow!

Hooray ! another online conversation with Toast and I have my refund ( and they've given me a 15% discount code ! I wont be buying that crochet top though....

Toast are back in the good books ..

@ToastCosILoveIt I’m not sure if you’re comfortable taking a picture of yourself in the pinafore when it arrives but if so I’d bet grateful to see it on a ‘real person’ as opposed to trying to guess sizing etc.

@Saurus72, yes happy to but expect it will be tomorrow (they haven't arrived yet and I am back to back in meetings all day). I hope the 10 will give me the look i want as the reviews suggest that it does come up big.
