Hello all Toasties , a new Toast thread for us to discuss clothes and life..

Here's to new beginnings and a more hopeful Spring when we can get out and wear our lovely things.

Turns out, you can do a price match even if it is no longer showing up! I just tried on the off chance, put in the new prices as 60% off the original (as that’s what the Toast sale items are all at now), and hey presto, just got a refund!

The striped Mira is showing not available .. / not coming back in but I paid half price for it

I went to my orders, clicked on the item ( graphic yoke jumper) , went to the not available anymore page, asked for the extra ten per cent off and completed the form - and when John Lewis refunded me, it was for more than the sum I'd asked for ( if you see what I mean)

Did anyone see Philippa Perry on Grayson's art club last night ? she had the Toast cord dress on and looked fantastic . I think that it was the olive one rather than the brown / slate from the sale..

Think that is the one I didn't bid high enough for on eBay!!!! Gorgeous. Went for £71. Still on website for £150.

I think the current ones on ebay are the brown slate ones from the sale Mizu.. I saw that in York shop and have the Gabi cords on the same colour, its almost almost black.. I am not sure really which colour she had on , but did look so good in it , and comfy I think for my colouring the olive would be better.. I may go mad and order. ..

@Laska2Meryls - I just watched a clip from that show and it's MY dress she's wearing! The olive cord dress (which I haven't worn for ages and must wear more of). Don't buy it from Toast though - I saw it on JL for £60 this morning. Bound to pop back up again!

Ordered the gorgeous pinafore dress that is new on Toast and it is really lovely. Sized down to a 10 and it fits perfectly, so really pleased with it!

I’m really tempted by the pinafore, the reviews are fantastic. Are you usually a Toast dress size 10 or did you downsize?

I am normally a 12 but generally size down to a 10 in toast dresses. The 10 fits perfectly. [ Also must be generous as I have some lockdown/xmas weight to shift!]
