AARRGHH! Discontinued favourites 😡

I’m SO annoyed! Just went to the Lish website to reorder my Queen Bee hair stuff and found it’s gone. Replaced by a cream which just won’t be right for me - it’s the addition of beeswax that stops my hair from fluffing up and releasing all moisture.

So I have two questions. What favourites of yours have been discontinued and what did you replace it with? And can you recommend anything to replace Queen Bee? 😭 I guess technically that’s three questions but still....

I am also annoyed that I bought a lipstick from Mac (it was a limited edition to be fair) which was discontinued with no equivalent replacement. It was perfect.

@ItsJustARide Oh do let me know how you get on with the dupe. I have one bottle of Sicily that I'm nursing but will finish one day.

Ha! The Body Shop have form when it comes to discontinuig products, then again, I have been using their products since before many of you were born...I'm that old. Here is my list::

Pineapple Face Wash
Jojoba Face Cream
Fuzzy Peach Shower Gel
Japanese Washing Grains
Tobacco Flower Eau de Toilette

And perhaps most of all.....Mostly Musk Perfume Oil. I was told my a man at a party that it made me smell horny.

Avene non foaming gel facewash. Was amazing. Can't find anything like it since it was discontinued.

Armani White perfume, in the tin.

Body shop passion fruit cleansing gel (see the theme?!!)

I miss Sephora in the UK.

Boots No. 7 Shiny Conker lipstick. Goodness knows why they would discontinue it as it was an iconic colour around for decades.

Shiny conker! I wore that to my first job interview... it was centuries ago but I still remember the exact colour so clearly.

Is it really true that they've discontinued Cristalle? Why? Why? Why would they do that?

Sicily by Dolce and Gabbana. I must have got to that party really late because I fell in love with it and within a year, it disappeared into thin air

Charles Worthington body wash ...there was an A.M version in a cream bottle and P.M one in a purple one. Smelled wonderful

Perfumes I loved and wished I could still buy in original formula were J'ai Ose by Guy lLaroche, Ted by Ted Lapidus, Metal by Paco Rabanne and Envol by Ted Lapidus. Best smells ever

Also loved Neutrogena Rainbath shower gel and Neutrogena Clean shampoo and the Pure one. All has such an uplifting smell as I dislike fruity/coconut over perfumed smells

Wow you're bringing back some memories with this thread.

For me it's Lancome Magnifique perfume, Natural Collection Cherry choc chip tinted lip balm and BarryM tinted lip balm.

I used love Lancome Magie Noire perfume and fab cream eyeshadows that Body Shop did..they were a matte sandstone and light brown and they were perfect for me

You can still get Rainbath. I love the Neutrogena body oil.

Shiseido did an amazing glittery lift neck and chest cream that I used on my cheeks too, circa 2008. No idea what it was called, but a lady at airport told me that it was discontinued Pity, as I had swiped it from my DM's bathroom.
Lancôme Miracle Body cream soufflé. Amazing stuff. Gone
Palmolive original green top shower cream. Was brill until they changed the scent slightly. Now it is awfully synthetic.
Sanex original blue lidded shower gel, again was brill until they tampered with the scent. Now it smells rubbish.

Whaaat Impulse O2 is discontinued!?

The original green Fairy Toilet Soap. Beautiful smell, used it all the time. Probably discontinued in the 80s.

Dior Midnight Poison. I loved that scent.

Proper pears soap, I bought some recently and it isn’t the same at all.
Okay used to make foundation, the new cc creams are nowhere near as good as the old foundation, they had the perfect colour as well. I am very pale and most foundations make me look like a ghost or orange.

Clinique Stellar Plum lipgloss. I once read they sold one every 5 minutes which was enough reason to cancel it apparently.

Body Shop vanilla body lotion.

I also liked Gucci Envy.

Stila HD 10 in 1 Beauty Balm. It made my skin look glowy and younger and stayed on all day without going oily. I can't find anything to compare 😟. I've seen people selling it on eBay but with a use by date of 2015 so seems a bit crap....
