AARRGHH! Discontinued favourites 😡

I’m SO annoyed! Just went to the Lish website to reorder my Queen Bee hair stuff and found it’s gone. Replaced by a cream which just won’t be right for me - it’s the addition of beeswax that stops my hair from fluffing up and releasing all moisture.

So I have two questions. What favourites of yours have been discontinued and what did you replace it with? And can you recommend anything to replace Queen Bee? 😭 I guess technically that’s three questions but still....

I am also annoyed that I bought a lipstick from Mac (it was a limited edition to be fair) which was discontinued with no equivalent replacement. It was perfect.

Benetint lip balm, their wee mini glosses "the gloss", erase paste. pp said that was replaced with boi-ing, but that was around wayyy before erase paste.

I used to work for benefit for a few years back in 2007, so trying to remember all the goodies!!.....

Their eye cream, eyecon was good as was their face cream- dear John.

I wasn't a fan of their tinted moisturiser - You Rebel and I didn't like some kinda gorgeous either.

Hi- brow, rush hour, guilded, mr frosty, and their creaseless creme eyeshadows!

Lush did a fab shampoo, Ibiza Party Shampoo, but unfathomably discontinued it. They brought it back for a one-off a few years ago, but I missed it as I don’t generally buy from Lush.

Several of Benefit's concealers now have the Boi-Ing name. What was erase paste is now the boi-ing brightening concealer (or something like that) and but there is also still the boi-ing industrial concealer (the original Boi-ing) and three are one or two others that now have the boi-ing name

Erase paste / brightening concealer seems to still be available on some sites but I haven't been able to find shade 3 for a while

God, I am devastated about Dallas. I didn't realise that was it gone. It made me look alive.

@icanboogieboogiewoogie Dallas is still available in some shops online. I've seen minis and and it's also in some palettes so you have chance to get hold of it before it goes

The minis are apparently a different colour. They say 'new' and have horrendous reviews. Might get one anyway and try it but I think they've changed them.

Oh really @icanboogieboogiewoogie? I didn't realise that. The ones in the larger palette seem okay to me but I didn't think to compare the new and old ones

@AliceinBunniland the bronze powder was ‘one hot minute’. I also used to love it but it was pretty messy!

Shiseido lipstick Honey Tea. It was a bestseller so why discontinue it?!

Liz Earle cream blusher. And mascara - delighted to discover it, didn’t irritate my eyes....then it was discontinued.

I second Aussie custard apple shampoo and Pantene foam conditioner - good products; I muss both.

laurajohnny Harrods used to still stock wrappings on their website, not sure if it’s still the case but worth keeping an eye on.

I miss a perfume called Sensi by Armani, bloody loved it and I’ve never found anything that comes close

A Miss Sporty mascara in a magenta tube, possibly called super shock.
I got to know about it in an in flight magazine about 2 years ago because apparently it was a 'makeup artist's secret'... it's the best I've ever had and less than £4!!!!!
I luckily managed to get 2 on Amazon from a provider phewwww

@ChrissyPlummer Yes! It was a bit messy but I liked the smell. The old benefit powders had a nice smell actually but I think that has changed too

Jennifer Lopez Deseo perfume. I fell in love with it just as it was being discontinued. It was a beautiful aquatic floral in a bottle that looked like a jewel from the sea.

Benefit are terrible for this. Why do they do this? I am also a fan of Lemon Aid but I have one to keep me going.
I have found a version in Superdrug that works in a similar way so worth looking for that.
However I love Benetint lip tint and Some kind of gorgeous. Can anyone recommend replacements for those items?

I might have a Dallas kicking around somewhere so if I can find it I’d be happy to send it to someone.

@mammmamia Yes benefit seems to have almost a whole new line these days. Some kinda gorgeous was quite unique in texture. I can't think of a dupe but I'm pretty sure you can still buy benetint!

Benetint have changed their formula too. It's creamier and the colour is not so intense.

If anyone does come across a Dallas I'm happy to pay. Everything else I've tried is either too pink or too shiny.

Found a Dallas but it’s really old and hardly anything left in there sorry!

I might have a benetint that I haven't used as I think sometimes it came in some of their kits but not sure how old it is or when they changed the formula

Sorry I didn’t mean Benetint that liquid. I meant Benebalm. It’s a lip tint.

Body Shop do this with every product of theirs that I like
