AARRGHH! Discontinued favourites 😡

I’m SO annoyed! Just went to the Lish website to reorder my Queen Bee hair stuff and found it’s gone. Replaced by a cream which just won’t be right for me - it’s the addition of beeswax that stops my hair from fluffing up and releasing all moisture.

So I have two questions. What favourites of yours have been discontinued and what did you replace it with? And can you recommend anything to replace Queen Bee? 😭 I guess technically that’s three questions but still....

I am also annoyed that I bought a lipstick from Mac (it was a limited edition to be fair) which was discontinued with no equivalent replacement. It was perfect.

The original Pureology Super Smooth in the brown bottles. Was brilliant for my PITA hair. They reformulated and renamed it and it just isn’t as good.

You can still get the Marc Jacobs gardenia perfume - Google Marc jacobs original perfume. Or Marc Jacobs woman. I got some earlier this year. Although I think they changed the formulation a bit it still smells lush like creamy aquatic gardenias.

Ooooh @Anchoredowninanchorage I remember loving YSL Nu too. I’d love to smell it again.

Someone mentioned L’oreal Sand Crystal which also gave me a jolt - I was obsessed and had several on the go at any time!

Soap and Glory Blur and Brighten concealing crayon - this did quite a respectable job without precise application

Eyeko Fat Balm, the raspberry one smelt amazing.

Never recovered from the loss of Aussie Custard Apple Shampoo and it was eons ago.

The perfect red lipstick by Dior. They ‘refreshed’ it and ITS NOT THE SAME. I’ll never get over it!

Soap and glory whipped clean. The most comforting, moisturising, shower product ever. They suggested an alternative but then mentioned it ‘may not’ smell the same....

My favourite blusher is benefit dallas and I've heard that has been or will be discontinued for a while but I'm not sure whether it has. I have a couple just in case.

I can't find my favourite Armani under eye corrector so I'm wondering about that

Me too. You can't get Dallas in any shops any more.

It's still in a few of their palettes @icanboogieboogiewoogie so worth looking if you / anyone want it

I also like benefit erase paste (now called benefit boing brightening concealer) in shade 3 but whenever I try to buy it they only have shades 4-6

I still miss the Poupee by Rochas perfume.
Also I really hate reformulations of my favourite perfumes, a particulary horrific example is the reformulation of Jean Paul Gaultier pour femme a few years ago.

I got this blush in an advent calendar which I haven't tried as I think I will suit my skin tone. Maybe it will work for you if Dallas is too dark

@AliceinBunniland thank you, that's really kind. I love Natasha Denona! I'll DM you a picture of the Dallas, it's the full size one and I've washed the brush with a mixture of anti bac soap and MAC brush cleaner.

Dallas was the first blusher I ever bought. The amount of compliments I used to get on my face when I would wear it!!

On a slightly cheaper end, Pantene have discontinued their foam conditioner why?!
It was so perfect for my very thin and grease-prone hair.

@DubiousGoals I have checked my stash and I have a brand new full size Dallas and two palettes with it in so I probably have enough to keep me going for a while but send PM your address and I will send you the Natasha Denona blush as I won't use it.

I found the Armani corrector I wanted on the debenhams website. It seems slightly risky to order from there but I have ordered two for the price of one as I haven't been able to find it anywhere else.

L'Eau perfume by Laura Ashley. It was the perfume of my twenties, loved it so much. I would pay serious money to get hold of some.

Another Laura Ashley one - a candle they brought out at Christmas (not their usual Noel one) circa 2007. It was dark red and in a glass jar decorated with gold filigree. It smelled incredible.

Clinique Baby Kiss lipstick. The perfect MLBB.

Another Clinique one - their Sheer Tint foundation in Blonde. My perfect summer foundation that made me look fresh & dewy but never shiny.

Just RTFT and a few Benefit products mentioned and some more that I remember

Pleased others love Dallas too

And Powderflage - I'd forgotten about that until someone else mentioned is

Lots of mentions of lemon aid too but I didn't really use that

There was a fixing potion they did but can't remember what it was called

And there was a powder called "It's a ten" or Its a 10 a bronzer and highlighter duo and I liked that

And a bronze glory powder I can't remember the name of. It was in a rose gold tin with a small fan brush

Also baby cake which was a powder / cake liner in brown and black that you'd add water to and was a liquid liner
