AARRGHH! Discontinued favourites 😡

I’m SO annoyed! Just went to the Lish website to reorder my Queen Bee hair stuff and found it’s gone. Replaced by a cream which just won’t be right for me - it’s the addition of beeswax that stops my hair from fluffing up and releasing all moisture.

So I have two questions. What favourites of yours have been discontinued and what did you replace it with? And can you recommend anything to replace Queen Bee? 😭 I guess technically that’s three questions but still....

I am also annoyed that I bought a lipstick from Mac (it was a limited edition to be fair) which was discontinued with no equivalent replacement. It was perfect.

Another one for Gucci Envy. I wore nothing else for at least 15 years. Vogue did a ‘we’ll recommend a replacement perfume for you’ on Twitter a couple of years ago and even their beauty senior editor replied to me to say there was nothing that came close

From my 90s teenage years things that got discontinued that I loved
-rimmel clear complexion range the foundation was amazing and my skin cleared up then they stopped it all except the powder
-Giorgio Beverly Hills ocean dream perfume
-17 block mascara it was AMAZING

From recent times things I miss are
No7 tinted moisturiser- the one that they replaced it with is far inferior
No7 cream blush sticks

Marc Jacobs Mod Noir perfume - loved that.

Lancôme attraction, still nursing the teenesf bit in the bottom of my last bottle I don't want to end.
Maybelline brown gel eyeliner in the pot, only found out it had been discontinued now I'm nearly out.

So glad it's not just me mourning discontinued products!

Honestly Gucci Envy mourners, get on Perfume Parlour and order Florence Spite It’s so cheap even if it misses the mark for you it’s worth a try!!

Sicily by Dolce and Gabbana, I'm still nursing a bottle I managed to get on Ebay a few years ago.
L'oreal BB lumiere cream - have managed to get some through Amazon but its hitting crazy prices as stocks go down.
I think Bobbi Brown have stopped doing their Brightening block - although as I haven't worn much make up for the past 9 months I'm not going to run out soon.

Benefit erase paste! It completely got rid of my dark circles and was a lovely creamy consistency...they completely changed the formula and now it’s chalky crap

An amazing Revlon stick foundation which was the perfect formula and shade, I've been trying (& failing) to find another one as good for 20 years now!

Boots Natural Collection Cherry Choc Chip lip balm, discontinued in the mid 90s and I'm still bitter about it.

Nip and fab no needle eye serum. It was amazing and they've stopped it. My crows feet which had been kept at bay for years with it appeared within a week of running out

Clarins Gentle Refiner with microbeads for face.

They have replaced it with 3 different exfoliators, all of which are harsh and horrid.

I've just ordered the Gucci Envy dupe from Perfume Parlour! Nervous anticipation has commenced!

Alexander Macqueen kingdom perfume although I can buy a bottle for £250 on eBay - price is crazy!

Gio by Giorgio Armani.Loved it so much if I smelt it now it would take me back to clubbing in my early 20s

Jo Malone Vanilla and Anise. It was perfect on me.
I'd pay a fortune for it to be resurrected. I still have a bit in a bottle but it's oxidizing

Nivea's All Day Aqua moisturiser. The replacement wasn't quite the same. I tried a few other gel moisturisers after that but never found one that matched it.

I still miss the Lush Gentle Lentil shampoo bar.

Also a bourjois gel that made you looked slightly tanned.You could mix with foundation or use alone.
