AARRGHH! Discontinued favourites 😡

I’m SO annoyed! Just went to the Lish website to reorder my Queen Bee hair stuff and found it’s gone. Replaced by a cream which just won’t be right for me - it’s the addition of beeswax that stops my hair from fluffing up and releasing all moisture.

So I have two questions. What favourites of yours have been discontinued and what did you replace it with? And can you recommend anything to replace Queen Bee? 😭 I guess technically that’s three questions but still....

I am also annoyed that I bought a lipstick from Mac (it was a limited edition to be fair) which was discontinued with no equivalent replacement. It was perfect.

Lancome Star Bronzer (think that's gone)

So I took a chance and ordered two of the Armani Master Corrector from Debenhams as they were on of the few places I could find it (plus it was about half price!) and I have had an email saying it's no longer available and they will refund me. So I don't think I'll be able to get it now.

The Armani one and Erase Paste shade 3 are the best correctors I've ever used but I slightly prefer the Armani one as it's a liquid and doesn't move.

Yep - I was surprised as they were everywhere for ages, I had tons of their nail polishes!

I read that some Models Own stuff is being sold in Poundland. Not sure if it's a new collaboration or they are selling old stock. If it is latter the sell by dates must be nearly up as they seem to have disappeared a while now.

@alittleredhen I'm the same with Nars Velvet Matte Skin Tint :( BUT I have just found it online in stock at Fenwicks, in a lot more shades than still seem to be available elsewhere.

My biggest and saddest loss is Bobbi Brown sheer colour cheek tint. The best blusher I ever had (and I am an old lady) the sheer raspberry shade was my holy grail. I stockpiled it when I found it in the Beauty Company outlet in Bicester but on my next visit it had completely gone. I've tried the suggested replacement from BB but it's not the same. If anyone knows of a stockist or a dupe I will be forever grateful

Goya Entice perfume - discontinued years ago, but never found anything that comes close.

Boots natural collection used to do a range of body stuff, one fragrance was Sunflowers another was Daisy Chain. The Daisy Chain body cream was in a big tub and white and yellow swirls of cream inside.

Sunsilk De Perfum shampoo in the late 80s. Me and my swishy scented hair at school....

Oh I loved the sunflower smell

@mammmamia I felt the same about Benefit Benebalm and thanks to a thread similar to this I was pointed to Origins Blooming Sheer Lip Balm in Totally Tulip. It’s a very good dupe

Nina Rici Delci Dela perfume- I loved it.

Body Shop Roma perfume oil or eau de toilette. I would give one of my kids or kidneys for a little bottle of that.

God so many. It's like there's some HQ where they monitor my purchases. Alert! *Herself" likes this, discontinue it immediately!

Decleor Arome Tonic body treatment fragrance is my most missed, oh how I loved it :(

Oh and I have never really found satisfactory replacements, I just find new favourites - except for one thing, the Body Shop face base. The perfect replacement is Superdrug MUA Pro Base.

Going waaay back - Silkience Shampoo and Conditioner from the '80's. Never bettered.

Corn Silk loose powder
Schwarzkopf Ultime Leave In Conditioner - I am STILL trying to find a reasonable dupe for this and nothing equals it. It was perfect.

Feel sad about all of these and wish I had a lifetime stock of them all.

Neutrogena clear pore foundation Bourjois d’un coup de pinceau liquid concealer Bourjois rose coup de foudre blusher which was a great dupe for Benefit Coralista Valentino V perfume Thierry Mugler Womanity perfume Ted Baker Woman perfume Boots Henna and Horsechestnut shampoo and conditioner for brunette hair- it smelled amazing L’Occitane Jasmin and Bergamote everything

Savers have recently started doing Ted Baker Women perfume again, it’s in a new style bottle and not quite the same, slightly less strong and only £9.99 each. I tend to get a few bottles at a time as they don’t always stock it.

@TheOriginalMrsMoss I was also a fan of Corn Silk loose powder, but have now found Laura Mercier translucent loose powder, which is just as good.

@rookiemere try perfume parlour, I’ve just ordered some to try, Sicily was my fave and have been looking for a dupe for years.
