AARRGHH! Discontinued favourites 😡

I’m SO annoyed! Just went to the Lish website to reorder my Queen Bee hair stuff and found it’s gone. Replaced by a cream which just won’t be right for me - it’s the addition of beeswax that stops my hair from fluffing up and releasing all moisture.

So I have two questions. What favourites of yours have been discontinued and what did you replace it with? And can you recommend anything to replace Queen Bee? 😭 I guess technically that’s three questions but still....

I am also annoyed that I bought a lipstick from Mac (it was a limited edition to be fair) which was discontinued with no equivalent replacement. It was perfect.

Clearly that should be Lush website - what sort of auto cucumber corrects to a non-existent word?!

I’m still trying to find the perfect blue toned red lipstick I had from M&S a years ago.

No7 old damson blush blusher
A perfect mauve nail varnish called Olympic dawn I bought in South Africa in 1989 😂 (holding into a grudge for this one!)

Ah yes it’s so annoying. I loved a finishing powder Smashbox did which kept my make up in tact for hours and still haven’t found a decent replacement. Also LOVED Benefit 10 which gave me amazing cheekbones when normally I have none. Still haven’t been able to achieve as good a look with anything else.

Clinique mineral powder make-up. I tried Bare Minerals but it gave me spots like I've never known! Clinique's was perfect.

I used to love John Frida’s Sheer Blonde Spotlight Detangler. It was a brilliant detangler and it picked up any highlights in your hair. Not longer sold in the U.K.

Not make up, but Chloe Narcisse perfume has been discontinued and I've been wearing it for about 30 years

Will never get over Gucci Envy.

Ditto Gucci Envy. I mourn it almost daily.

Benefit Bathia Body Balm any good dupe?

Marc Jacobs face powder. I bloody loved it. And Benefit perfume Caramella, but i've recently found something incredible similar, so i've gotten over that. ha!

No7 did a mascara in a red tube that was amazing, they replaced it with a sparkly red tube one that was nowhere near as good

Liz Earle light reflecting concealer. Went to buy more last week and was told it's been discontinued 2 years ago and they don't even do makeup any more.
Argh!

Bourjois effet smoky eyeliner. The dark brown one was perfect.

Clinique gentle light powder. I've never found a good replacement and still miss it.

Wella Liquid Hair. LOVED it! It made my hair silky and shiny like nothing before ever had or since.

I feel you on bourjois. Loved it. The 123 foundation was amazing.

Gucci Envy was beautiful

It's always fragrance for me!
I adored Molton Brown's Vanilla and Violet and Jo Malone Rosewater and Vanilla.
Then, kapow! Discontinued!

Just seen that wella liquid hair has been revived! Ordering NOW!!!

Chloe had a ‘intense’ version of their Signature perfume in 2009. It was around for a few years, now disappeared. It was, and still is, the only perfume that I have ever liked. Never found anything that I love as much!

The Virgin Vue One Step Face Base - it truly was the bollocks and I've never found anything quite as good

Perfume Parlour do a very passable Gucci Envy dupe. I was transported back 20 years when I sprayed it!

I have bought three off eBay and the last one was the actual perfume ( I have no idea what the other two were but didn't smell anything like it) .

I was worried that a 12 year old perfume would be off but this was sealed and is gorgeous, trouble is now I'm afraid to use it as I don't want to run out!
