Thought I’d better start a thread for this beauty. No spoilers please! Only post in each appropriate day.

Swaps etc. allowed. Grin

This is the first meh item for me as I’m not a big body cream fan and it’s bloody tiny.

MiaN · 07/12/2020 10:39

it is bit meh I agree but they can't give so much value each day. It's not bad really, we are just spoiled first 6 days! :)

beautyboxaddict · 07/12/2020 10:54

Oh I know! Even discounting the items I know I won’t like/use this calendar is brilliant value and the first 6 days were amazing Grin

TheChosenTwo · 07/12/2020 12:30

Another kind of boring day but it will get used after my bath tonight so I’ll get it over and done with quickly.

MiaN · 08/12/2020 06:58

I am not sure about today to be honest. First day that I am not so sure it will get used

TinyTroubleMaker · 08/12/2020 07:24

This is a bit like the Elemis Quiet Mind Temple Balm, which I have, and love. Side by side, I think I prefer the Elemis but will use this one too.

MiaN · 08/12/2020 07:25

how do you use it tinytroublemaker?

TheChosenTwo · 08/12/2020 07:42

Ooh not keen on this one, it smells like a urinal covered in cabbage soup 🥴😂
Oh well, first thing I won’t use so not too bad in the grand scheme of things.

MiaN · 08/12/2020 07:49

I put it next to my bed to try tonight and had to go up and smell it. It's not great scent I agree

Housewife2010 · 08/12/2020 07:51

Today's Settle is worth £40. I'm happy. I love sleep sprays/roll ons.

TinyTroubleMaker · 08/12/2020 08:48

Mia I think you're supposed to put it on your temples, this one says wrists too so maybe pressure points, to help you wind down, relax. Bit like a pillow spray but on your skin. As I say, the Elemis one is IMO better (it's a lotion not a roll on)

Housewife2010 · 08/12/2020 09:21

I put my Tisserand roll on on my wrists and sometimes a little on my decolletage. I do prefer sleep sprays though.

afaloren · 08/12/2020 09:27

I love things like this, I’m a big user of sleep sprays and temple balms etc so I will definitely use it especially when travelling, assuming I will ever travel again hashtag 2020 hahacry.

Housewife2010 · 08/12/2020 09:31

I usually use the This Works spray although I'm on the Ren one at the moment. I like to take the mini This Works ones away with me so my bed smells like home.

afaloren · 08/12/2020 10:13

I do that too! DH rolls his eyes but then if I don’t spray the bed he starts asking where it is Xmas Smile

TinyTroubleMaker · 09/12/2020 06:32

Tiny 10ml bottle this morning, bit unimpressed (potentially spoilt yes, but the Calendar is supposed to be worth £400+ overall). Has anyone tried this product?

MiaN · 09/12/2020 06:55

for 10ml the cost is 82gbp

MiaN · 09/12/2020 07:00

Cult beauty are asking for 100 euro for 10ml or 270 for 30. Barbara Sturm is very overprized and I am glad it's not something like hyaluronic acid as hyaluronic acid is so cheap.

I am happy to try it, it's not something I will ever purchase but I like getting a chance to try what is the fuss about. I love her face cream and had the chance to try few times from GWPs - I would never buy it but as that's what advent calendars are fun for - discovering things I can purchase and few luxuries I just get to try

LizzieMacQueen · 09/12/2020 07:03

What is it, a face serum?

I'll wait until the end of the month then decide what I'll not use. Open to swaps but if anything is in the £30+ category I'm tempted to sell them on ebay.

TinyTroubleMaker · 09/12/2020 07:21

It had better be good then 😁

PrincessWatermelon · 09/12/2020 07:31

Gosh - that's worth a lot of money 😂
I'm not sure my face is worth that much!! Will it really do €100 of amazing?!

MiaN · 09/12/2020 07:33

I doubt it. I would never buy her face cream either as it's not worth the price for me but I enjoy every drop of it when I get it with gwp so I hope this will be same!

TheChosenTwo · 09/12/2020 09:00

I highly doubt this is going to do anything amazing for my face but I’m looking forward to trying it out.
I’m not against spending money on my skin, I’m a marketers dream, can’t wait til tonight!

HotSince63 · 09/12/2020 20:22

I enjoyed the Settle roll-on last night, I thought it had a pleasant subtle fragrance. I usually use Neom magnesium lotion and pillow spray but find the fragrance can be a bit overpowering. DH had a go of it and liked it too.

I've already used up the body lotion from the other day. It was ok, nothing special, I wouldn't buy it.

I'll be trying today's gift tonight. I'd never usually pay £90 for a night serum so I'm expecting great things!

TheChosenTwo · 09/12/2020 21:49

I’ve given the roll on thing to my mum, the smell turned my stomach!
I’ve used the serum this evening with an oil over the top as I found it strangely drying?! Confused
