Thought I’d better start a thread for this beauty. No spoilers please! Only post in each appropriate day.

Swaps etc. allowed. Grin

I have been happy with the items so far.

I haven’t had an advent calendar for a couple of years as felt guilty about packaging etc but felt this year I needed a treat. It feels more luxurious than my previous M&S ones for sure. Which it should at the price!

However adding this into my current stash of skincare and makeup means I do not need to buy anything in 2021. And maybe even 2022.

Am enjoying the excitement of opening the drawers every morning.

LizzieMacQueen · 03/12/2020 09:34

This is quite a lovely piece to look at. Wonder if I'll use it much?

The hourglass product from Liberty AC last year was one I sold really easily on ebay so this might go the same way. I'll wait until all doors are open (i also have the 12 days Grazia).

PrincessWatermelon · 03/12/2020 11:07

Ooo...a new blusher!! Fab. Mine is years old, so v happy to try this.

TheChosenTwo · 03/12/2020 12:04

I already have this blusher, it doesn’t do much for my skin tone (dark skinned, this makes me look a bit grey and chalky!!) so this one is going to my niece. Lovely item but not for me.

TinyTroubleMaker · 03/12/2020 13:10

Beautiful product, love the packaging.

MiaN · 04/12/2020 07:10

Would love reviews on today's product. I am very interested in trying it - another hit today for me!

PrincessWatermelon · 04/12/2020 07:33

I've loved Oskia products in advent calendars before. So an overnight mask is great. No idea about the lactic acid and what have you. But definitely a win over here.

Housewife2010 · 04/12/2020 08:01

It's worth £65. I love Oskia but I haven't tried this before. I think the Cult Beauty advent calendar is fantastic. I tried the shampoo from the other day last night.

Writersblock2 · 04/12/2020 09:30

Love Oskia. I’ve used the lactic acid from The Ordinary before so I’ll be interested to see how this stacks up. Yesterday’s Ambient Powder was awesome too, though I already have the whole palette (highly recommend btw. It makes my skin look amazing).

Really excited, this is something new that I haven’t tried. I like some of the Oskia products that I’ve got, will be having a go with this tonight.

MiaN · 05/12/2020 07:13

my skin didn't react well to glycolic so looking forward trying lactic acid serum

Really great products so far, I will use everything! I wouldn't buy eye cream myself as I use my normal face cream but it is great to have this and I like the brand & the product. Full size eye creams are usually 15g, this is 20 great size!

In total I have 4 advent calendars this year but Cult Beauty is by far my favourite.

Piccalino3 · 05/12/2020 08:10

Just found this thread. Loving it so far this year. I've had the votary oil before and with a drier skin type I really like it. The blush was a god colour for me and is quite soft, love all things Oskia so excited to try this - used it last night, skin did feel softer. I haven't heard of Verso, the packaging looks cheap but some decent reviews on the cult beauty website and I always need an eye cream so.... so far so good. Amazing to have a beauty treat to wake up to each morning!

ZaraW · 05/12/2020 08:21

I really love her lipsticks.

Writersblock2 · 05/12/2020 08:56

Happy with today’s!

MiaN · 05/12/2020 09:06

Verso are expensive brand but have that clean minimalistic looking packaging that some high end brands have lately

HotSince63 · 05/12/2020 09:40

I'm loving the Votary oil and about to use the shampoo when I go for a shower in a minute. We're going out for dinner tonight so I'll try the Ambient Hourglass then (do you use it like a blusher?).

I will give the Oskia product a go tomorrow night. I have quite sensitive skin so I don't want to overload it too much with new stuff all at once. My eyes are very sensitive so I may give the eye cream away.

I'm really enjoying the calendar so far!

PrincessWatermelon · 05/12/2020 10:40

Flipping heck! This eye cream costs £60! We definitely are getting spoilt and treated to things I'd never normally buy.

TinyTroubleMaker · 06/12/2020 06:58

Pretty bottle today.

Day 1 still my favourite so far...

MiaN · 06/12/2020 07:46

very happy to ty todays. I loved everything in every day so far I have to say, I have Space Nk/Liberty too (one opened for my birthday in October and Cult Beauty is by far the winner for me

MiaN · 06/12/2020 08:00

I have combination skin and while I love the fragrance free votary oil I thought I am not going to get much use of it.

My skin decided it is going to be dry with the change of weather/drop of temperature and I am using it nightly!

PrincessWatermelon · 06/12/2020 09:36

Love the bottle for today, but have no idea what it is! Can anyone enlighten me?

TheChosenTwo · 06/12/2020 10:15

I opened it but have left it on the table downstairs, I think it was a liquid exfoliator from memory? Was it the little glass bottle one?

beautyboxaddict · 06/12/2020 11:07

It was the Herbivore Prism AHA/BHA Serum. Not used anything yet as I have so much other stuff in use but I’m looking forward to trying this one

afaloren · 06/12/2020 12:44

Looking forward to trying the serum. I’ve used the votary oil and eye cream and loving them both. Very generous sizes of everything so far.

MiaN · 07/12/2020 07:22

I am happy with today's body cream. It isn't as interesting as previous days but great to have a body product after having hair, makeup and few skincare too
