Typo typo! For string - read strong. For posted - read pored. I really need to switch autocorrect off!

TheChosenTwo · 30/11/2020 19:56

I had totally forgotten about this calendar! I got it and put it straight in a cupboard so I wasn’t tempted to open it and poke around so I’ve genuinely forgotten I had something exciting to look forward to tomorrow! I’ve got the kids’ calendars all lined up ready to go too Confused

PrincessWatermelon · 30/11/2020 20:24

Calendar brought out of storage, dusted off, and now in pride of place on the sideboard!! Can't wait 🥳

beautyboxaddict · 30/11/2020 23:22

I accidentally kicked mine and ripped one of the doors off (was stored under my desk) so it’s looking a little sad. Very excited to start opening tomorrow Grin

Housewife2010 · 01/12/2020 07:14

Today's us a very good start. I've already done my skincare so it'll have to wait until tonight.

MiaN · 01/12/2020 07:32

Fantastic start for day one! I don't use this type of product very often as I have combination skin but love having a good one for winter for the days I feel in need something extra! l like that it's fragrance free and wow full size on day one at that price!

LizzieMacQueen · 01/12/2020 08:09

Nice.... (are we not mentioning actual product yet?). I'd have thought this an evening, before bed item.

TheChosenTwo · 01/12/2020 08:18

Kind of boring but a staple, I use oils at night so I’ll wait til later. I’m not disappointed but it’s not an exciting product Grin

Housewife2010 · 01/12/2020 08:46

I think it looks great. It's the Oskia Liquid Mask which is an overnight lactic acid. It's the full size worth £65. I haven't used it before but I love the Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel and Renaissance Mask.

MiaN · 01/12/2020 09:02

Strange, day one is votary oil not oskia in my advent and all reveal videos

Housewife2010 · 01/12/2020 09:05

Just checked. You're right. My son must have done the wrong day. When I come to an empty day I'll have to go back to day 1!

Writersblock2 · 01/12/2020 10:19

Votary here too. It looks really luxe and I love a good oil. Happy start!

Votary oil here too. It smells beautiful. I haven't used it yet, just opened for a sniff, will give it a go tonight.

I have very oily skin but strangely find using facial oil makes my skin much less oily.

Full sized bottle worth £70 too!

TinyTroubleMaker · 01/12/2020 15:54

The Votary oil is lovely. Bit hard to get it out, unless you are supposed to remove the stopper?

HotSince63 · 01/12/2020 15:57

@TinyTroubleMaker I don't think you are supposed to remove the stopper, I was a tiny bit disappointed that it didn't come with a pipette like is shown on their website.

OdeToAutumn · 01/12/2020 18:25

I got a votary face oil in the Liberty calendar last year. Assuming it’s a similar bottle, if you turn it upside down and don’t shake, after a couple of second the drops come out. I love it and still have lots left Smile

(I don’t have Cult Beauty, just being nosy!)

TinyTroubleMaker · 01/12/2020 19:12

Thank you Grin

MiaN · 02/12/2020 07:07

Happy with today's product too! I have used similar from biagio and really liked it

TinyTroubleMaker · 02/12/2020 07:41

Meh not interested in this one, I have curly hair and use tried and tested products. One for an exchange or ebay!

TheChosenTwo · 02/12/2020 08:38

Happy with this, have used it before and have a lot from the living proof range. My hair is quite wild and curly but this suits me fine. Again, not exciting but to be honest I’ve tried most things already from this calendar already and have liked what I’ve tried so buying it was a way of just restocking and getting some added extras in - I’m not expecting to be really wowed by many of the doors but I’m happy to get what’s in it!

PrincessWatermelon · 02/12/2020 19:33

I'd be interested to try this. I have another product from the same range, but I'm another person with curly hair and am apprehensive to mess with my tried and tested routine! Shampoo I don't mind messing about with more.

I'm keen to use the facial oil as well. I've got a Clarins blue orchid face oil which I adore. So I'm gonna liberally use that up before starting on the new one.

MiaN · 03/12/2020 06:35

I tried the votary oil. Very happy that is fragrance free as it's less likely to irritate my skin and it feels very soothing on my skin - I am a fan. I tried day 2 yesterday and while probably won't purchase full size I like it.

TheChosenTwo · 03/12/2020 07:16

@MiaN I think it smells like pencil sharpenings!

MiaN · 03/12/2020 07:24

:) I tend to opt for fragrance free most of the time and I am used to that type of smell. As long as it's not too strong I am ok with it. I read through the ingredient list and they seem to be very carefully selected and I think it's worth trying.

MiaN · 03/12/2020 07:38

Really happy with today's blush, it's beautiful on
