I got the grey too - I already have a bag in the same pattern on blue.

Yes I got an the five minute peace set, Aesop hand wash/ lotion, Neom oils and some aromatherapy associates shower gel.
I’m using the votary oil at the moment - I like it.

Luvacuppatea · 18/02/2021 13:37

Lurker more then poster here......... I went for the Liberty GWP today as I missed out on this tote back in December. I had the advent calendar so hesitated over the GWP, and it sold out in a flash. Looks as though it’s sold out again now! I went for grey too @AprilLady. The reason being that (too me) it looked a little bit more Spring-like that the other two. I’m holding my breath that we are going to be able to go out somewhere other than the supermarket come Spring and I will have cause to use my tote 🤞.. Already had order dispatch notification 😊

Luvacuppatea · 18/02/2021 13:43

I got the five minutes peace set too (though it’s supposed to be a gift) as well as Votary superseed serum and nutrient cream (both ‘discovered’ through previous Liberty advent calendars), plus a couple of other bits. I follow this thread to try to motivate myself to use stuff up. Seems the opposite is happening right now 🤣

Pomegranatespompom · 18/02/2021 13:48

@Luvacuppatea I normally get the advent calendar too. I think I might try fortnums this year though. Hope you enjoy all your lovely things.

Luvacuppatea · 18/02/2021 15:01

Thank you @Pomegranatespompom. I had the Fortnums calendar in 2019. It was lovely. Considered it again in 2020 , but I dithered for too long and it sold out, so it was back to Liberty. I might well go for Fortnums this year, just to try some different brands again. I’ll be well stocked with the ‘Liberty staples’ by autumn as I’m a sucker, not only for their gwp’s , but also for their beauty kits /boxes which appear at alarming (for my bank balance 🤣) regularity!

AprilLady · 18/02/2021 15:11

Definitely more in than out over the last couple of weeks, but latest empties attached. Both the Sisley and Aurelia moisturisers were F&M advent calendar items.

Really liked the Sisley cream, but not enough to repurchase given its cost.

On the fence on the Aurelia night cream. Smell is okay, but it didn’t absorb well and seemed to just sit on top of the skin. It also pilled if I atttempted to add a facial oil. But I did wake up with soft, hydrated skin, so it was doing its job.

Love the Elemis Frangipani products, so the body cream was a hit.

@Pomegranatespompom, I’ve just done a tally. Excluding the make up bag, there were 28 different items in the F&M calendar. I’ve used up 13, and 6 are currently in use. Of these 19, one I disliked and am unlikely to finish (the lip plumper). Two were meh (the Bramley shower gel and cream), and the Aurelia okay. I have liked or loved the rest. Of the 9 unused, 3 are bath/body products I’ve used before and know I like. Overall definitely worthwhile for me.

@Luvacuppatea if you get joy from buying/using stuff - where is the harm? 🙈🙈🙈sorry, I realise I am enabling 😬😬😬

OP posts:
Luvacuppatea · 18/02/2021 19:01

I definitely don’t need any enabling @Experiment627 🤣. You are right though, it’s my money and I get a lot of enjoyment from both the GWP’s themselves and in picking out what to buy to qualify for said GWP’s. Harms no one. I really do need to make more of an effort to use up at least some of my haul though. Hopefully will have some empties to list soon 😊

Pomegranatespompom · 18/02/2021 19:46

I am getting fed up of all the Margaret Dabbs product in GWP/advent calendars though.

We shouldn't feel guilty, we deserve a treat.

ememem84 · 18/02/2021 21:24

Clarins eye make up remover sample size finished.

Ponks · 18/02/2021 22:14

Boots No7 Protect & Perfect tinted face spf finished - finally - it lasted so long. Colour was a little dark for me, was better in the summer.
Two more non-tinted spf tubes still to use. Would love to try the Sam Bunting one at some point.

Ponks · 18/02/2021 22:47

And also just finished Medik8 R-Retinoate cream (the day and night version), this again has lasted for ages. I've been using this a few nights a week, alternating with Medik8 Crystal Retinal 10, and on balance I prefer the Crystal just for the skin feel (and it's half the cost!). Didn't irritate at all, no particular amazing impact either but retinol is a long game isn't it. Moving on to the Intense version now.

ememem84 · 19/02/2021 20:26

Two sheet masks. Both boots tea tree and witch hazel. One a clarifying one (on now) and the other with charcoal used the other day. Nice and cooling/calming.

justilou1 · 20/02/2021 03:44

LOTS of empties this week - mostly samples, so not that impressive! (I’m trying to get rid of them!) After donating most of my stockpile, I was feeling really good about it. Then my hairdresser went bougie and swapped from L’Oreal to Kerastase and stuffed my handbag with samples. I have finished two - Resistance Bain & Fondant. They smell delightful, but honestly... There’s no way I’m spending that much money on conditioner that comes in a jar that I’m likely to drop in the shower and have the contents spill down the drain. Then there’s the whole packaging issue... I know they’re the same company as L’Oreal. Are they really THAT much better? (And is my hair that nice anyway? Uh.. no.) Then some Korean things. Purito from Green Deep Foaming Cleanser. My skin was feeling a bit sluggish and this was just what I needed. A bit more oomph than my Cerave gentle foaming cleanser. Would be good for teens. (I still oil-cleanse first as use lots of sunscreen.) Innisfree Black Tea Youth Enhancing Ampoule and Crème. It didn’t make me pick up glow sticks and hit any raves, but it’s just gorgeous!!! Lightly and deliciously scented and I woke up hydrated and with glowy, plump skin. I would buy the crème for winter. Innisfree Sakura Sleeping Mask - it’s lovely. Hydrating, cooling, cherry-blossom-scented jelly that you pop on over your regular skincare for an extra, overnight boost. What’s not to love? Also, gorgeous, little, pink pot perfect for travel when the planet works again! The famous Fresh Foaming Soy Cleanser. Far too much packaging for such a small sample. It was nice and everything, but.... Cerave’s better. I wouldn’t ever spend that much on a foaming cleanser. That’s insane. Fresh Antioxidant Vitamin Serum. It smelled like freshly-poured orange juice, which is lovely, but it came with SO much packaging! The Ampoule-sized sample gave the impression that there would be a decent-sized amount in there - 10-15ml would have easily fit, but no... a measly 3ml sample. Just enough to smear face & neck. Nope. For a company targeting the “Natural” audience, they sure love their packaging!!!! Laaaaastly, an aging mini-sized Mac Fix+ that my daughters gave me for Christmas that was unfortunately watermelon-scented. Yuk! I’m keeping the bottle to fill with cooled, green tea or mineral water for the car. (Very hot here) I have a cucumber and mint one to go. It’s slightly less repulsive. (Over and out!)

I'm a huge beauty hoarder. I'm off work this week so have sorted through just my bodyshop products and am really proud of myself for sorting stuff I haven't even used. I've put them on ebay actually if anyone wants to hoard some more things for really cheap Wink

Experiment627 · 20/02/2021 14:57

Very impressive @justilou1 I want to try these Innisfree things of which you speak! Do you get those from Yesstyle?

Welcome @Russell19!!! I am off to take a look 👀

@Experiment627 it arrived today so, will be giving ago on Tuesday when i next wash my hair! I noticed it was cheaper on their site, but then when i went back it was OOS and they had put the price back up!

Just a few bits from me today.

  • A mini Elemis Cleansing balm. I forgot how much i liked this, the whole experince of using this balm is a delight. I think if i was to repurchase it would be through QVC. Im currently using Votary cleansing oil, and i love that tooBlush
  • DE C-Firma x2 5ml. This stinks, and can be a little sticky if heavy handed! But, it really makes my skin glow and look brighter. Im a devil for picking the spots on my face and leaving awful marks, it's made a difference to the pesky marks. Plenty of Vit C in stash though!
-Shu Uemure hair mask sample. Okay, nothing special. -Bum Bum cream tiny pot. I dont think ive once purchased this in a full size. It alqays comes up in GWP. I have 3 other pots in stash.

Also the GWP sounds fab, enjoy your goodies🥳

I think you can buy Innisfree from YesStyle, but because we have Innisfree shops here, they YesStyle doesn't sell Innisfree to Australia. I did a quick google search and there are lots of ways to purchase Innisfree in the uk.

ememem84 · 21/02/2021 11:50

White co shower gel in lavender done.

AprilLady · 21/02/2021 13:11

@Caggie09, currently using a full size of both the Elemis balm cleanser (Rose version) and the DE Firma Vit C. I also love the Elemis balm cleanser. Happy with the DE Firma Vit C too; the smell disappears very quickly, and I follow with a HA serum which gets rid of any residual stickiness.

Russell19 · 21/02/2021 13:59

Finished my bodyshop vit C skin reviver this morning. Have really loved it and would recommend but I'm going to finish my no7 primer first before buying a new one. Grin

Not using up stuff (I'm not that good yet!) but I've been giving away a lot of my unused make-up, and things I've used a bit of but don't want to use anymore have gone in a box for me to give to my niece and sister. I realised I have way too much make-up and need to get rid of some of it.
