I wanna emerge from my cocoon looking like a hot babe when the schools go back!

I want to lose 2.5 stone.
Working in a hospital 3 days a week where we are being given free pizza which is kind but not diet friendly!! Also chocs sweets cakes & crisps.

At home 4 days a week got no treat food at home but I can still overeat when I get bored & lonely which is now all the time!!

I've decided to do Ariennes 'Home' series of yoga. We have decided the kids will be marched morning and afternoon, so we will all get fresh air and exercise. I'm wearing handcream, using up presents going back years!
I just need to stop eating all the biscuits!

We have enough food in at the moment but I’m convinced there’ll be supply problems so have completely avoided eating more than I need, which is a miracle as I’m such a piggy!

And because I’ll need to also exercise my boys, there will be early morning trots with them

I don’t drink much anyway so nothing to change there....

And I have a cross trainer and kettlebells at so am going to crack on..

I too want to emerge into the sunlight blinking and transformed. Need to lost 3 stone, tone up (have started) and get rid of my current epidemic of hormonal acne.

Then I'll need a whole new wardrobe to help kickstart the economy I suppose. Shame I won't have the dosh.

Hmm, i like that idea, emerging to cries of "who's that new mum" at the school gates....

Definitely joining in! I've got about 5 stone to lose so would like to make a start on that, and generally make myself 10 years younger!

Somehow I suspect I am unlikely to lose weight, but I am aiming to keep my standards up when it will be tempting to sit in our pyjamas all day!

You can make your own list for princessing, whatever areas you wish to focus on - might be skin, nails, hair, makeup - whatever you want.

Me too. I've been really busy for the past 5 months and seriously neglected myself.

I plan on getting all my dust covered impulse purchases (face packs, Elasticiser, Lumea, face steamer, NuFace.....) and emerge as a new me. For the past 2 days we have done a 5K run together every morning (live in countryside, saw no one) and done gardening.

Well I am going to juice
Exercise
Drink water
No booze
Loads of sleep

Also I am going to moisturise like mad. Start retinol
Mayyyybe some microneedling

I am in a major sulk because we had to cancel our holiday ( I know , World's Tiniest Violin Time , yeah ) .

It was a celebration for our Silver Wedding an our last holiday saw me having 2 weeks in hospital not a week in the sunshine .

So:

I have exfoliated my legs in prep for the epilator
I have hair dye

I have various scrag ends of lotions'n'potions to use up.
Next week I'm on A/L (so not going anywhere )

My hands can recover a bit . I only have domestic hand washing not work handwashing too. So loads of cream to slather on.

Te rather than coffee

Sort out clothes (and try not to weep too much over the holiday clothes . )

I'm calorie counting, have to say it's difficult at work (nhs) as we keep being given free pizza from local businesses also the usual chocs & biccies which I'm trying to avoid....

So yes it's 2.5 stone to lose by August; 1.5 of that by mid June hopefully.

I also would like my skin to improve as got a bit spotty from not cleansing properly at night.

How are we doing?

I'm making an effort to sort my outfit out the night before so when I shower in the morning I'm ready straight away. It's not rubbing off on DD who is enjoying not having to get ready and I have to encourage her out of her pyjamas!

Need to file my nails, if the weather is still this lovely tomorrow will sit outside and paint my nails.

I am usually careful about what I eat but it's all gone out of the window in the last week.

I plan to give myself until Monday and then get to grips. Water, sleep, no snacking etc. Also my nails and skincare have gone to pot.

It's hardly important in the grand scheme of things, but taking care of yourself is definitely related to mental wellbeing, which is to be protected. When I am taking care of myself, I feel more able to cope with everything else and give more of myself to the family etc. I have 3 small DCs so I need to do everything I can that makes me feel OK, to stay strong, stay on top of their schoolwork and keep them happy whilst we're all going through this.

I'm thinking about using the lumea on my tache, I've always been too scared to shave that bit in case it grew back thick but if I'm stopping in the house 🤷

I've been neglecting myself somewhat so it's probably a good time to get into a new routine and make some changes! Starting with physical fitness... we are getting up each morning and doing the Joe Wicks workout with the kids. 3 days so far and I'm aching but determined to keep going.

Going to drink more water (can't really afford to keep drinking Pepsi Max at my usual rate now that all my work has dried up) This will help me cut down on caffeine too I hope.

Thinking twice about snacks and trying to eat less junk. Easier with most restaurants and fast food places closed

Planning to get better at skincare and just give my skin a break from makeup as I have nowhere to go besides the supermarket.

Also might as well give my hair a break from hair dye too (I do my own anyway).

My eyebrows however will be a right state 3 months from now

I’ll be using footner too, plenty of time to peel in private. Face masks and I’m using retinol too.

I'm sort of the opposite, haven't washed hair in ages, leaving my skin untouched and then ideally I want to emerge a princess when I finally go out out just by washing my hair and doing a face scrub. I'm debating regular body brushing, does it actually work?

Hello everyone, can I join in please?

My main problem is being fat (2.5 stone overweight). I've been meaning to start intermittent fasting, but thus far have been too weak-willed.

I'm going to focus on this, as well as keeping up with my skincare routine, water, sleep, etc. Plus footners, which I'll do later today.

I was feeling worried about being overweight until yesterday in the kitchen at work when 1 of the male HCAs I work with offered me leftover sponge & custard, I said I'm on a diet & he replied 'but you are slim' then he asked the opinion of the male domestic who said I looked slim too!!
I was a bit embarrassed but secretly really pleased & I did have the sponge & custard!!

I do need to lose 2 stone to get within my healthy bmi but it's nice to get compliments.
I will be back on the calorie counting tomorrow!!

I also realise I've been getting up too late to do proper skincare & makeup before work.
& my best chance of meeting a decent man is at work.
So I aim to get up earlier...

Tonight I'm having a pamper session & actually shaving my legs etc. Trying to actually care more.

Ive been pigging out all week and not even attempted to rein it in

I can't really call it comfort eating....

Nhs frontline so hands are dry and sore.

Positives:
I use joico luster and am leaving it on overnight which means my hair is silky smooth.
Have loads of samples due to glossybox and birchbox that I seem to collect for fun 🙄
I have my own gel nail lamp and equipment so my toes remain perfect.

I would like a trip to IKEA. We moved in Feb but plan was to sort house in Easter hollibobs. I know I could do it all online but I REALLY want to go and touch everything. One day ......
