Ooh sorry - didn't realise I was on S&B!! Post IKEA I will swan around my house like a princess Wink

ChicCroissant · 26/03/2020 21:34

I used to do body brushing, I must have the brush hanging around somewhere - you've reminded me, Eesha. I think it helped my skin feel a lot smoother but not sure if it actually helped my circulation!

Nail polish on toes today, will do fingers tomorrow. Enjoying not rushing my shower in the morning but should really add some of the many and lovely perfumed body lotion I have to it.

Eesha · 26/03/2020 21:51

I definitely recommend those Korean exfoliating cloths, they really smooth out the skin

Permenantlyexhaustedpidgeon · 26/03/2020 23:33

I’m in. I have been furloughed from work so am attempting to make the most of this and sort my life out.

My list is huge -

Lose 2 stone
But lumea again and restart
Not wear make up!
Don’t colour hair until last moment before re-emerging from house again
Footner
Lash serum
Handcream
Moisturise whole body morning and night
Korean scrub cloth thingies
Water to drink - give up Diet Coke and cut down on alcohol
Regular face masks
Take chance to cull clothes and shoes

I think that’s all. If I actually stick to this and do them it will be a miracle!

Geepipe · 26/03/2020 23:40

I used to love the korea waash cloths but then i read they are so bad for the environment so i cant justify it although they are the best thing ever. My plan is to use the millions of beauty products and gifts ive hoarded for years so i can emerge with a limited stash and start an eco friendly one thats more simple and cheap.

Geepipe · 26/03/2020 23:41

I need to also get fit and drink more waterm my diets shit but i cant change that at the moment.

Eesha · 26/03/2020 23:42

@Permenantlyexhaustedpidgeon great list! I'm wondering about face masks, do they actually work? The only thing I use is those biore face strips.

ReginaGeorgeous · 27/03/2020 11:15

Can I join! I have spent my first week of isolation in joggers, no make up and looking a state. Enough is enough.

I’ve ordered a lumea, a bottle of rapidlash and some skincare bits. Going to wash my hair in a bit and leave a hair mask on all afternoon. Wine, a sheet mask and singing my toenails are on this evening’s agenda.

I have a holiday booked for the end of July, at this moment in time I have to assume it’ll be going ahead and should prep myself and not pig out and gain weight accordingly. Diet starts Monday, I’d like to lose a stone.

ReginaGeorgeous · 27/03/2020 11:18

Singing?? Painting my toenails!

Mawbags · 27/03/2020 20:39

God I am huge. I really look horrendous. I need to get going tomorrow on a diet. Hmm

I am slightly scared of looking even worse facially though!! Honestly it holds me back. Would a three stone weight loss make that much difference?

I want to join in please! I started slimming world before this shit happened and am determined to carry on with it. Eating healthily makes me feel so much better mentally. I’m doing well so far - lost 4lbs this week - my worry is when all the salad stuff/fruit runs out il be forced to eat tinned goods and frozen pizzas (I am going to try and avoid the shops for as long as poss!)

I’ve noticed my skin is so dry too. My hands are awful but that’s to be expected with all the washing. But my face - I feel like I’ve aged overnight! Luckily I bought some face packs so I’m planning on doing those twice a week plus I’m cleansing and moisturising every morning and night. I think no makeup can only be beneficial too.

My nails look horrendous - I had shellac just before the shit hit the fan so now I’m stuck with it for a while (bright red too!)

And my hair....I’m trying not to think about my hair..(I don’t even think dh realises I’m not blonde anymore but almost completely grey Shock !

FagashJackie · 28/03/2020 06:57

Hello can I join in too please? I have a list, based on the original one by BlackSwan.
I do them all apart from the Castor oil, but only when I remember. I'd like to make this more routine.

Hot water with lemon first thing in the morning
2litres of water per day
Minimum 5 a day fruit and veg.
Oily fish twice a week
Cut down on processed food

30 day shred
Walk outside everyday
One really early night a week, like 9pm

Body brush
Intensive foot cream
Really thorough interdental clean
Hair mask once a week
Anti aging face and neck cream
Castor oil for lashes and brows

ChicCroissant · 28/03/2020 14:27

Hello all, I'm also stash busting Geepipe and used some face cream yesterday as body and hand lotion. Used some perfumed body butter this morning, it was much better than the stash busting so should stick to the proper stuff really!

Not done manicure yet, will work on that over the next couple of days, I hate filing my nails and usually do it sat in the car waiting for DD to come out of whatever activity she's in - no activities, no filing! Usually wear lighter colours on my hand, may go for a deeper polish instead for a change.

Still eating slightly too many snacks at the moment ...

Geepipe · 28/03/2020 20:11

I know what you mean about snacks chiccroissant! Ive had 3 takeaways in 3 days now we ordered far too much. Dp was ill all night and now i feel like utter rubbish so i look even worse. I need to file my nails so badly and moisturise.

Oakmaiden · 28/03/2020 20:13

I'm up for the loads of sleep bit...

Less certain about exercise and juicing...

Permenantlyexhaustedpidgeon · 28/03/2020 21:14

I usually get about 5 hours sleep - I got 9.5 last night!!! Admittedly with sleeping tablets, but still, I feel incredible!

Have panic ordered caster oil for lashes, face masks, footner, hair masks (and blur hair dye for my son!) I just need to stop eating and drinking now!

Geepipe · 28/03/2020 21:23

Oh good point on castor oil i have a bottle for my brows if it works! Glad you got a good nights sleep ive had a few naps today to make up for no sleep last night.

Permenantlyexhaustedpidgeon · 28/03/2020 21:27

To be honest i think exhaustion set in - I honestly get between 2-5 hours a night, last night felt food. I thought there was no point worrying and sort of let go! AND, I got ID’d the other day when I ordered wine off the internet. It must be working!

Geepipe · 28/03/2020 21:38

Haha brilliant! Yeah i go through spells of insomnia for months or utter exhaustion and it really affects my skin.

Lndnmummy · 29/03/2020 14:49

ChicCroissant · 29/03/2020 16:35

Getting age checked is definitely a result pigeon, talk about proof princessing works Grin Star

Still using perfumed body lotion/butter after shower, third different one today and many more to go and it's really nice.

Mixingitall · 29/03/2020 16:43

I’m in. I’ve been using the extra time to look after myself and it’s really nice.

I have started to use non SLS shampoo and conditioner, the first few days were interesting and fluffy, and almost 10 days in and 5 washes my hair is soft and shiny, in a way it hasn’t been since I was a child. I’m also not blow drying or straightening.

Rainbowunicat · 29/03/2020 16:47

Hope you don't mind if I follow for ideas, ladies! Lovely to have something positive to focus on.
I need to lose quite a bit of weight, so hopefully having the time for daily walks and cooking healthy food can only be a bonus! Obviously need to avoid boredom eating though.
I have a little bit of birthday money so I might spend it on some lovely products to try at home.

catinb0oots · 29/03/2020 16:48

Ohohoh I'm definitely in. I was on the original princes song thread the year I got married and the royal wedding (2011)

Let's just say I haven't kept it up and am now more of a fat, divorced ogre Grin
