Another beautiful day!

Last night I flossed and moisturised on my hands before bed.
Moisturised my body this morning, walked the dogs twice, applied the crest whitening strips, did day 6 of yoga with Adrienne, I had actually done five days at the beginning of lock down but decided just to carry on rather than start again...

I’ve still one glass of water to go.

Tomorrow’s plan is...

  1. Walk the dogs twice
  2. Drink water
  3. Crest Strips
  4. Day 7 of Yoga with Adrienne
  5. Epilate my legs/forest.
  6. Do Elasterziser hair treatment.

Can someone send me a link to the footer thing as id like to order one (preferably Amazon so i can do prime)...

@FergusSingsTheBlues i think im going to focus on the easier beauty stuff, then increase my exercise... after that i'll look at cutting out bad food :(
Im so bloated tonight :(

@ChicCroissant i love that feeling the next day, so good to feel like you've actually worked hard.

@evieray totally, i think you have to be kind to yourself and do what you can do.

Karcheer · 21/05/2020 10:28

going to repaint my nails today as they are chipping so adding that to my list ( 7).

Karcheer · 21/05/2020 20:27

Last night I flossed and moisturised on my hands before bed again - hopefully it'll start feeling like a routine.
Moisturised my body this morning, walked the dogs twice, applied the crest whitening strips, did day 7 of yoga with Adrienne and ive drunk my water :)
I epilated my legs and put Elasterziser on my hair whilst i did it.

Will paint my nails whilst watching TV :)

I've finished my Elastizser now, so need to reorder or buy something different - whats everyone else using?

Tomorrow’s plan is...

  1. Walk the dogs twice,
  2. Drink water,
  3. Teeth Whitening,
  4. Take Vitamins (im planning on taking The Restored Multi and Omega)
  5. No Crisps! Ive eaten my body weight in chocolate today - but think my daily packet of crisps might be slightly easier to give up!
  6. Pedicure - hopefully my Footner will turn up tomorrow - anyone know if i can paint my toenails afterwards?

Hows everyone else doing - very quiet!

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 21/05/2020 20:49

Using my brow serum at night without fail. Need to do another photo on my phone so I can see how they progress

Put some cream on my heels and cotton socks

Planning what to do with my hair - I wanted to grow it which I have done over the past couple of years so it's just past my shoulders now (needs a good 2" off it I think). I'd been dithering about a fringe but didn't (thankfully with hindsight) . I didn't want a side fringe because I need my hair clear for work. A straight fringe would make me look like Grayson Perry Hmm .
But now.......thanks to PPE Hats I don't need to wash it every day and I could have a side fringe because it'll all get pinned/tucked away .

I have a HairBoss mask+shampoo to try out .

Treated myself to some Pre-Birthday clothes and perfume .

PaperDreamsHoney · 22/05/2020 09:21

I had a complete diet fail last night and ate several chocolate biscuits, but I'm going to try harder today.

I've been learning about skincare from a knowledgeable friend and ordered myself some proper products. I'm going to have a mini-spa with DD over the weekend to deep condition our hair and do our nails.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 01/06/2020 22:50

Dyed my eyebrows (scarily dark but it does fade) trying to convince myself that I have loads more eyebrow to dye Grin

Bought myself a couple of cotton cardigans for summer (after I went through my wardrobe)

My heart is hankering after cashmere . My head is saying "Cashmere? Catch yourself on, you don't lead a Cashmere Lifestyle do you ? "

Listened to 'Head'

Flippinfurloughed · 02/06/2020 00:15

Noooo @70isaLimitNotaTarget you are a cashmere girl!!! You can waft about in it all snugly and what not. But the cashmere!!! The shops have some amazing sales on at the mo!

What did you use for your lashes?

I’ve made a promise to wear ‘nice’ clothes every day for June and to wear some make up and do my hair. 3 months of living in joggers has not sone much for my self esteem. Day 1 today went well - I kept catching sight of myself in a mirror and being surprised!

I’ve ordered some hair dye to arrive tomorrow in my weekly shop, and am keeping up the fake tan / lumea / skin care routine. I feel good!

How’s everyone else getting on?

Karcheer · 02/06/2020 15:59

i was really good for a couple of days (see above), but then stopped... i did do footner though and my feet are just starting to peel...

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 02/06/2020 16:12

Flip I was browsing on the Uniqlo site but their cashmere is dry clean so that's a 'no' for me .
I'm menopausal so very hot flush-ey , only in the depth of an artic winter would I need cashmere Grin
And I tend to drop food down my front especially tomato based pasta.
And I have cats who would delight in snagging it .

I've got a washing machine that can supposedly wash a rose without destroying it on the gentle cycle < I have never actually done this > but I don't want to risk it .
The Merino wool is nice though, not as soft but silkier .

Eyebrows were Revolution 3 Day dye in dark brown, really dark but only for a day , it mellows .

Karcheer · 02/06/2020 16:26

i wash all my cashmere in the machine.

ChicCroissant · 07/06/2020 14:39

Get the cashmere

I am still working my way through the enormous stash of bathroom products, finished another body cream last week so on to a new tube - trying to stick with one shower gel/body cream until it's gone. It's quite satisfying to throw the tubes away now.

Putting oil or serum as well as moisturiser on my face every morning as I have dry skin. Keeping up with the exercises so far as well and really enjoying that bit. So nothing drastically new here but managing to maintain the routine.

pinkazing · 07/06/2020 14:56

I’m using up all the shampoos and conditioners I purchased but didn’t like. I cannot wait til proper shopping to replace the gaps with things I love. Footner’s doing its magic and actually have my own nails ready to be painted. Back on the retinol. If I’m looking for a new job time to look after me.

Mawbags · 15/06/2020 18:11

How everybody doing?

OP posts:
ChicCroissant · 15/06/2020 19:29

Good timing Mawbags, I just got a couple of bits of makeup arrive in the post today - just an eye shadow (crayon, has lasted quite well) and lipstick, so as I wanted to try them I've got more makeup on as well.

Still ploughing through the stash of toiletries, not thrown anything else away yet but a shower gel bottle is really close Grin

Probably slacking a bit on the exercise Blush

Flippinfurloughed · 16/06/2020 09:55

Oh good timing for me as well!

I used my eyebrow dye yesterday and it’s made SUCH a difference! I ordered some new mink individual eyelashes and a new eyelash glue to try, so I’m going to aim to do my eyelash extensions again too.

My nails have honestly never been better - the lack of gel polish / extensions has made a massive difference. I don’t think I will be going back.

Like @ChicCroissant my exercise (and diet) has gone to pot completely though. The plan to lose 2 stone is still to be carried out Grin

Yankathebear · 16/06/2020 10:28

I keep reading this but haven’t posted!
You are all very inspiring!

I need to sort out my face! Months of wearing a mask mean my skin is quite grotty! I’ll exfoliate and do a mask today.
I’ll also do a hair treatment.
I’ve dyed my hair.
I need to shave my legs.
And get back to the yoga!

Beautifulsunsets · 16/06/2020 16:07

Waving hello to my people Grin I’m taking it as a win that I’ve had a juice a day, a multi vitamin and am moisturising my tootsies. Next up retinol cream. I had a retinol overnight peel that was a present that was really good but it’s discontinued now so if anyone’s found anything similar I’d love to knowGrin

Flippinfurloughed · 16/06/2020 16:12

Please can you all kick my ass into losing some weight? I have actually got a folder on my phone now of fat photos..... and it’s really filling up fast! My features have sunk into my face, my tummy over hang is like when I just had my baby. I’m really disgusted with myself, but I seem to start a diet then give up on it by tea time. The rest of the princes sing is going well - but it’s irrelevant as the effect is lost by my weight gain Sad

XingMing · 16/06/2020 21:29

@FergusSingsTheBlues

Look at it this way, we probably have 4 months before full school gate presence required

4 months- 4 stone

Do it more gently, please. Halve that goal. That way you stand a decent chance at keeping the weight off permanently. 14lb a month is too harsh. 2lb per week is a sensible goal if you want to lose the excess for life. Better eating programme and a gradual fitness escalation should bring you close. Save the big guns for the final assault, and hopefully you will only have to do it once, and then maintenance. That lasts forever.
ChicCroissant · 16/06/2020 22:22

flippin kind words only about yourself please - you wouldn't speak to a friend like that, well done on the princessing. The weight loss will come in time. No more photos in that folder!

I enjoyed doing my makeup this morning and as a bonus, I ran into someone I know when I was food shopping - that counts as a good day Grin

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 21/06/2020 21:52

My eyebrows look bloody amazing now !
Not 100% what I want (yet) but since using the Revitabrow and dyeing them , they have really thickened up.
I need them to get longer though, they don't have proper tails but at least I don't look like I have 1" of brow.

I never have anything to pluck but yesterday I noticed a couple of the individual hairs were really long - I trimmed a bit with scissors because I didn't want to pull it out .

So: no microblading for me .
Repeat order for the Revitabrow (and I'lll give Revitalash a go My DD uses it , her lashes are gorgeous )

I'll get a before/after pic up

Mawbags · 21/06/2020 22:09

Revitabrow sounds great...

I’ve been trying to scrub off my sebaceous filaments and have now given up

OP posts:
GabrielleChanel · 15/07/2020 14:21

Can I revitalise this thread or is there an old one? I know we have 6 weeks now until school gate and while I'm not expecting miracles I know I need to do/change something

GabrielleChanel · 15/07/2020 22:41

hopeful bump

JaJaDing · 15/07/2020 23:35

God I need to do this, I've totally let myself go since March. My hair and skin are in a state and I can't remember the last time I ate a vegetable Blush.

I'm starting from the bottom up and giving myself a pedicure tonight. Reading through here to give me further inspiration.

@GabrielleChanel what are you planning on doing tonight or tomorrow? Smile
