Beatrice can always schlep to Brown's like the plebs!

I think she has lost weight in her face, but the trouser suit was very flattering.
Outside of the Queen, Camilla has the best jewels in the RF, mainly inherited from The QM and gifts.

I hope Edo is supporting Beatrice through all of this. I never liked the look of Dave and hope she doesn’t get hurt again. If they truly love each other and want to get married they could nip down to the local registry office with his son.

The Norwegian Emeralds

I do love seeing the royal jewellery in old photos or even paintings.

Just marking a spot...

Disfordarkchocolate · 20/11/2019 20:29

Camille really knows how to wear big jewellery. She looks comfortable and confident too, I'd be constantly checking nothing had fell off.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 20/11/2019 20:31

Prince Albert commissioned some beautiful jewellery for Princess Charlene, on their marriage.

The first one is a convertible tiara.

That first necklace is stunning!

pastaparadise · 20/11/2019 20:59

I dont understand how tiaras convert into necklaces - to be rigid enough to stand up, how do they lie flat and comfortably as a necklace.

How does it work? Dont suppose anyone's tried one on??

IfWishesWereFishes · 20/11/2019 21:04

Love that second pic, she is really so beautiful

itswinetime · 20/11/2019 21:09

The queen mother had this bracelet/tiara but it was worn like a hairband i dont knot if that's how you would wear Charlene's. Diana had one too but the way she wore it as a Tiara always looked odd to me I'lo see if I can find a pic

I loved that tartan skirt outfit on Kate and also the shorter hair of course.

Thanks for the new thread Queen.

QueenOfTheAndals · 20/11/2019 21:11

She is now @IfWishesWereFishes but she's had help!

I like the black/tartan outfit on Kate. I wish she's wear more skirts like that, they suit her.

itswinetime · 20/11/2019 21:13

This is the one on Diana. Never been sure if it was meant to be a tiara though or if it was just Diana being a bit different 🤷🏻‍♀️

BettyBooJustDoinTheDoo · 20/11/2019 21:26

The tartan skirt and boots combo looked fabulous on Kate, so stylish and so much more grown up and more sophisticated than the flippy girly skirts she seems to favour at the moment. I hope I’m wrong here but I have a sneaking suspicion that the wedding may not go ahead at all......I don’t trust his intentions, just a feeling.

paradyning · 20/11/2019 21:43

There was a definite mixed reaction to that look in these threads last year

SeaRabbit · 20/11/2019 21:44

necklaces convert to Tiaras by having a separate frame that they are fixed to, usually. I believe Diana just wrapped a choker Round her forehead, it wasn’t designed for that way of wearing.

TokyoSushi · 20/11/2019 21:57

Checking in!

frugalkitty · 20/11/2019 22:09

Didn't Diana improvise the emerald headband because they forgot to pack a tiara? Or something along those lines...

Thanks for the new thread Queen

I also feel sorry for Beatrice, she's waited a long time to be married and can't help who her Dad is. I'm another one who isn't too keen on the fiancé.

MotherofPearl · 20/11/2019 22:09

I'm afraid I'm not a fan of Charlene's modern jewels in those photos at all. I much prefer more traditional bling!

Thanks for the new thread Queen.

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 20/11/2019 22:18

Thanks for the new thread, Queen.

Bea doesn't need a big name designer for her dress. In fact, how fabulous would it be for her to pick an unknown independent British designer. I know Diana's dress was a bit Marmite, but who had heard of the Emmanuels before she chose them?

BlingLoving · 20/11/2019 22:27

Thanks for new thread. Love Camilla jewellery. I've commented on here before that her pearl triple strand checkers with honking big clasps are my favourite.

AppleKatie · 20/11/2019 22:32

There’s not much sympathy out there for the York Girls.

I had a convo at work the other day in the staff room where someone was chastised for calling Andrew a probable pedophile but someone else was fine for saying Beatrice and Eugenie are work-shy, lazy and thick...

It’s horrible for them to be tainted by it when in all likelihood they were either innocent or worse victims in some way depending on the truth that we will probably never uncover.
