So recently I’ve lost a bit of weight, have been working really hard at the gym and am feeling better about myself for the first time in a long time. I’m going for a night out on Saturday for drinks and was wondering if these leggings would be ridiculous to wear?

If you saw someone out in these would you think they are ott? I think they are okay for me age wise, just worried I might get a few looks Hmm and they might make me look cheap

I am not a fan of the patent, but that's a matter of preference.

You only live once, so if you want to wear patent leather leggings, do it. You may only wear them once, and so what? You may end up getting several pairs.

I have lost a bit of weight and after having my son 9 months ago, I've been wanting to not be stuck in a rut clothes-wise, so I recently bought a pair of Wolford faux leather leggings in burgundy. And I love them!

Only to be worn when thrashing businessmen for money.

I think OP is long gone but would love to know her decision Grin

I think the Matt looking pair above posted by @NuffingChora are nicer, I find the super shiny a bit fetishy.

Lhastingsmua · 23/10/2019 17:35

I think the patent ones NEED a casual top half like a black band tee or an oversized jumper.

Horsemad · 23/10/2019 18:48

Sadly too old and heavy to get away with wearing these but if I was 24 and size 8, then hell, yeah I would!! 😆

Go for it, OP!

I think a matt pair would be fine. The pvc pair is just too fetishy.

And I'm in London and don't see many young people out in those trousers.

and also think they might be squeaky and sweaty, which isn't really a very sexy look.
