Don't get me started on men, and how they can do with shabby suits while a woman might put in much effort. I know it's wrong, I know it's unfair.

All I can offer as a flip side is that these men of royal rank and privilege (which used to matter so much) run the risk of being outshone by their wives - we only have to see what is starting to happen when they do something and their wives aren't available - and the press don't care. Even today, Harry is there as an add-on to Meg's gig.

However her outfit is stunning. Love her hair and the whole curvy, and men give really suits her.

Today's and last year's green leather skirt and Silk blouse combo are my favourite Meghan looks.

She looks great! My only quibble is that I might've chosen a slightly darker shade of red for the skirt. Is it basically the red version of her green HB skirt? Those shoes are gorgeous too.

Seeing that green blouse again tempts me to treat myself as it's my birthday next week. The skirt might have to be pleather though!

I'm not strong on trends etc but to my old-fashioned eye Meghan's top and skirt colours don't quite go together.

I love Meghan's outfit but I think the top is too low cut for work. It seems unprofessional. It's gorgeous though, but in my view more suited for going out for a gossipy lunch or something.

I think the jumper’s too low- but I suppose it depends what rhe engagement is. I love the skirt- but don’t like the jumper and shoes with it. Better with a shirt, I think. Like rhe green one.

I think it's because most of the belted dresses have more flowing skirts/ looser looks overall. I go back to the dress she wore when out with the queen shortly after marriage - it was fitted and the belt on that looked great. (the train trip?)

I think they both look fabulous. But I agree about the skirt colour, with all the money in the world it could be a slightly better shade couldn’t it?

But I do accept that’s me being picky. It’s lovely to see how amazing her figure is in properly fitted clothes.

Yes I think you might be right @BlingLoving I thought it was the belts that didn't work the. I saw her in the purple dress and something was still missing in the fit.

Thinking back her stronger looks (for me) are always more tailored so I guess I need to stop hating the belt!

Mad Men look is the perfect description. She looks fantastic. That berry color must be the "it" shade for the season because it is all over the shops now. It really is a shade that most people can wear and for me, living in a warm climate, it can signal fall autumn if done in lighter fabrics and still be comfortable.

I agree that the skirt is too light. I love the top. The skirt comes a bit high up and makes the whole look a bit busty.

It's a no from me .The colours are toonearly matching ,the skirt looks too tight and the neckline is too low .And the heels are too high . It's too much alltogether - low neck ,tight skirt ,high heels .
