SOTD Lalique Soliel. There was a thing in Grazia a few weeks back where you had to text a number and the first 300 people got a 15ml bottle. It’s completely inappropriate for this time of year, but will be nice in the summer.

I am burning a £30 candle that is so lovely i was able to put some of the wax on my wrist so SOTE is Urban (something) Oud Geranium

I put the wrong perfume on today

Was rummaging through the 4160s box in the semi-darkness at 6am...hoping for the supreme comfort of CVC. Ended up with Dirty Honey instead. Gah. Now dont get me wrong, I love Dirty Honey - in the summer. Orange blossom and honey is NOT working for me today.

I have Ffern Summer on today.It still works because it's a warm incense-laden spiced citrus.The freshness cheers me up in our old freezing damp house. The car swam on the school run, through the country lanes this morning.
@KaliforniaDreamz you're like me. I now have a hankering for Scherrer woman as it's green and oakmossy and along the lines of Private Collection, Cristalle , Jasmine White Moss and Wrappings. Just debating whether to order a mini.

Sotd Eau Duelle by Diptique

This is lovely; a mildly spicy, creamy, ambery vanilla. Perfect for a freezing day like today. My skin amps sweet scents like crazy so I’m always a bit worried with vanillas that I’ll end up smelling like custard but this isn’t too gourmande. It’s snuggly, like a cashmere jumper.
I have the solid perfume that they did a few years ago, but I must get some that is sprayable as it would be perfect on a scarf.

SOTD MMM Lazy Sunday. We had ice on the pavements this morning, causing chaos. ☹️

Sis and I visited Les Senteurs last week and had a lovely time sampling (with cake after!). No other Perfumistas made it, sadly, but I’m very conscious that I was missing during the whole of October so wasn’t able to remind anyone. Perhaps another time ...

I have been wearing the stronger winter perfumes over the past week or so in an effort to overcome the damp cold weather. I bought a bottle of Tauer Au Coeur du Desert at Les Senteurs. I have been imagining being by a camp fire on a cold night in the desert. It has a resinous rather than smokey smell, but maybe with whiffs of incense. It is so beautiful and lasts for ever. Les Senteurs kindly let me have some free samples with my perfume. I got Cloon Keen Castaña. This has a beautiful chestnut opening, with a soft, woody drydown. I also had another sample of Tauer Carillon Pour Un Ange. This is a green lily of the valley which softens and morphs for hours. It is totally gorgeous. Oh, and Tuberose Sotto La Luna.

I’m looking forward to the Advent Calendar, MrsM. I love reading everyone’s descriptions! Your suggestions for how it will work sound great.

Sounds like you and your sister had a lovely time, Calm; sorry there wasn't a better Perfumista turn out on this occasion. Wearing ACdD tonight in your honour! I love the borderline medicinal quality this has - it smells like it is making me better.

Castana sounds intriguing - you switched me on to chestnut notes with Z&V This is Her.

Hi calm, glad you had a lovely trip to Les Senteurs! We'll have to try a bit harder with the meetup plans next time. ACDD is divine, you lucky thing to have a FB now. I'm wearing Une Rose Vermeille today - jammy, sweet, spicy, brilliant.

I'm working at home today but will pop into tk maxx in a mo to check out the Miller Harrises and buy myself some yoga pants

Urgh, I forgot to wear perfume yesterday and had a quick spray of Lush Cardamon coffee when I passed a shop on the way to work. Sounded right up my street. IT WAS NOT. Within a minute I was deeply regretting it: plasticky, overwhelming, nauseating. And my god it lingered.

Made up for it today with 4160 Indoors. Comforting but with an edge.

I don't like any luah perfume. It's all grim and plasticky smelling.

Indoors is perfection:)

Sotd is L' Occitane Eau d' Iparie vintage.

SOTD estee lauder youth dew. Have got a boots voucher for my birthday and planning to treat myself to the bath oil as apparently it can be worn as fragrance oil aswell as being used in an oil burner...has anyone got this oil? What do you think?
