Mine is for body:
St Tropez in shower tanning lotion.
Fuck me, it’s incredible!! Although I can get a decent natural tan on the rest of my body, my legs never tan and I’ve never found anything fake tan wise which looks good until now. I only bought the St Tropez because I had vouchers for TKMaxx and saw it in there for about half the normal price, not thinking it would work (with most fake tans I buy, they end up at the back of the cupboard as I’m too lazy to spend ages on application, and I didn’t have high hopes on this, with it only being 3 min to leave it on for.
I bought the light one, and after googling reviews, everyone says to def leave it longer than it says on the tube, so I left it around 6 min, and there was a definite difference.
It’s not a dark tan at all, it just takes the edge of having pasty white legs.
So impressed that I then ordered the medium shade from Amazon, and WOW!
I went out last night after applying this the night before, and had the confidence to wear a short skirt. A friend said I looked like I had model’s legs!
It looks so natural and like a real proper tan, no streaks at all. Total miracle stuff!

The other things I’ve discovered recently for my very spotty and congested skin: Niacimide by The Ordinary, plus Sudocreme - really takes down the redness, and heals spots faster.

Isle of paradise tanning drops after the tan thread - they are ace!

sheshootssheimplores · 25/08/2019 21:23

Lulualla then explain to me how my gums are growing back? I had a black triangle in between two teeth that is no longer there. I had wear above one tooth that was kind of notched, no longer there. I had sensitivity above a back tooth that’s no longer there. I am watching the gum grow back with my very eyes. If you read the reviews on Amazon many people have said the same. Even my hygienist is amazed. The stuff is fabulous.

stoplickingthetelly · 25/08/2019 21:37

Hourglass ambient lighting palette has totally changed how my makeup looks for the better. Had loads of compliments on my skin since I started using it.

CremeDeSudo · 25/08/2019 21:40

Itll be a Newtons Chiropodist sponge, you can get them from Amazon.

I'm interested in what the dermatologist did/said that made such a difference? I've often toyed with going to see one (hormonal acne) but dubious about spending the money!

Benjispruce · 25/08/2019 21:45

The Ordinary retinol products have halted The ageing of my 48 yr old skin.

bakedbeanzontoast · 25/08/2019 22:26

Tom Ford blush. I got a sample of their foundation too which I'll be saving up for for sure.

StCharlotte · 25/08/2019 23:02

Maybelline Superstay 7 day gel nail varnish.

I use this too and use Sally Hansen Double Duty Base and Top Coat - gives a it a really professional shine and lasts even longer.

EatenByDinosaurs · 25/08/2019 23:14

vaz119 I'm in the US, and they had it in my local drugstore

tigerbear · 25/08/2019 23:51

@xJune88 totally agree with @taybert - you need to apply it and leave for much longer than 3 min. I usually leave for at least 6-8 min, and use it around 3 consecutive days to see a big difference.

@EatenByDinosaurs... Thanks. I hadn't seen it at my essence stand!

nononever · 26/08/2019 07:42

Love the Ordinary Rosehip facial oil. Only £9 and is lovely at night before bed

CaptainWarbeck · 26/08/2019 09:19

The Ordinary Vitamin C 23%, amazing, skin looks much brighter.

Isle of Paradise tanning drops from the previous thread. Love them! I'm only using 2 drops for a very light tan but have gone up a shade in foundation and it looks completely natural. And no faffing about which had always put me off tanning before, this just mixes into moisturiser.

Sarcelle · 26/08/2019 09:31

@CaptainWarbeck - what ones are you using? Believe they come in different strengths?

buckeejit · 26/08/2019 09:33

Yes Captain - I've just turned 42 & have never been able to self tan as always looked smeary &ridiculous. With the drops, it's so easy, really softens the blow of looking in the mirror first thing in the morning!

@ihatethecold I find ordinary flannels best for face, have tried muslins & other fabrics but always come back to these

For whoever was after eyeliner for tightlining, I really recommend kiko smart eyeliner. About £6 & has the staying power of Bobbi Brown & loads of colours too

Nanalisa60 · 26/08/2019 09:37

Pixi rose oil and pixi face wash pixi rose toner just lovely!!

CaptainWarbeck · 26/08/2019 09:59

These ones in the lightest shade, it's just called light I think. I do it every three or so days at night. Doesn't come off on sheets and doesn't smell like fake tan. I'm a total convert.

The ordinary vit c 23%. Feels horrible when you put it on and can sting like hell but my skin looks so good after using it

Also love rosehip oil

SistersOfMerci · 26/08/2019 10:13

The Ordinary Hayaluronic acid, my skin feels so plump.

Estée Lauder Double Wear Light, in this weather my makeup is actually staying put at work.

Sarcelle · 26/08/2019 10:44

I am a sheep. Bought the tanning drops in Light. Look Fantastic have them on offer!

CaptainWarbeck · 26/08/2019 10:58

@Sarcelle I was a sheep buying as a result of the previous thread on them and it was a good decision! Grin

ElfrideSwancourt · 26/08/2019 10:58

So many things since I first visited S&B!

Collection Lash Surge mascara in ultra black - really fantastic and only £4.99!

The Ordinary Buffet morning and night has made a huge difference to my skin. I've just tried the AHA/BHA mask which is fab too.

I first read about the Curly Girl method here too which has transformed my hair and have just had my first curly girl haircut which has improved it even more.
