Mine is for body:
St Tropez in shower tanning lotion.
Fuck me, it’s incredible!! Although I can get a decent natural tan on the rest of my body, my legs never tan and I’ve never found anything fake tan wise which looks good until now. I only bought the St Tropez because I had vouchers for TKMaxx and saw it in there for about half the normal price, not thinking it would work (with most fake tans I buy, they end up at the back of the cupboard as I’m too lazy to spend ages on application, and I didn’t have high hopes on this, with it only being 3 min to leave it on for.
I bought the light one, and after googling reviews, everyone says to def leave it longer than it says on the tube, so I left it around 6 min, and there was a definite difference.
It’s not a dark tan at all, it just takes the edge of having pasty white legs.
So impressed that I then ordered the medium shade from Amazon, and WOW!
I went out last night after applying this the night before, and had the confidence to wear a short skirt. A friend said I looked like I had model’s legs!
It looks so natural and like a real proper tan, no streaks at all. Total miracle stuff!

The other things I’ve discovered recently for my very spotty and congested skin: Niacimide by The Ordinary, plus Sudocreme - really takes down the redness, and heals spots faster.

Makes sense, I didn't check out any of the products.

Anyone else on this thread getting that spam pop up 'google user you've won an iPhone' crap?

tigerbear · 27/08/2019 08:15

@TigerDroveAgain from one Tiger to another - THANK YOU for recommending the Balance Me congested skin serum.
It arrived yesterday, so I whacked loads on to a massive under the skin chin spot and on smaller spots and scarring.
This morning, the massive one has totally shrunk, and the smaller ones are hardly red at all. True miracle stuff!!

Fake tan- St Moritz is cheap an great. I tend to do it weekly then top up with Dove daily gradual tan. However, on holiday in Devon last week, my Dove gradual tanner didn’t work. I put it on daily and barely any colour! I got home and used it once but from a bigger bottle I had and I’ve woken up tanned. Wondering if the small bottle I took on holiday had gone off but only had it last year.

Ok I got the Korean cloths and they are tiny! When I tried to use one it just scrunched up in my hand and was hard to use. Am i doing it wrong?

MerryDeath · 27/08/2019 19:39

the ordinary glycolic which I'm using over my whole body and has really improved my kp!

and not style and beauty but my airpods are the best 160£ ever spent by me!

nononever · 27/08/2019 19:41

The one I bought was long and good for exfoliating your back

Aleesha1 · 28/08/2019 00:19

@dementedma mine was like small glove. Isn't yours?

Sarcelle · 28/08/2019 09:27

The Korean/Italian cloths and the Japanese cloths are different I think. The former is like a green glove that is very small. The latter is like the picture, much larger, different fabric. Amazon do both of them. I think both sorts come in different varieties depending on level of coarseness.

Organic apple cider vinegar mixed (with the mother) with water as a toner. I read about it on a beauty forum and the reviews were all excellent.

My face is no longer oily.
My pores are no longer clogged
It is also helping with pigmentation.
It is only £5 for a large bottle

Benjispruce · 28/08/2019 09:40

Lego it’s even cheaper in Aldi.

dementedma · 28/08/2019 20:26

My Korean Italian cloth is green and very small. 4 in a pack. Quite hard to use as it scrunches up

stayfit · 29/08/2019 16:21

Dyson air wrap - massive difference to hair loss since I stopped using hair straighteners

Ultrasun - someone recommended on mn and has worked v well this summer on days out

stayfit · 29/08/2019 16:26

Also Kat Von D ink liner is v nice, rarely ditch my Mac eyeliner for anything but got it in a sale in debenhams

Sarcelle · 29/08/2019 19:42

Ultrasun is fab. Use Face 30spf and the sports gel for the rest of me. The former is a great primer, the latter just sinks straight in. Once a day application. Lasts for 2 years (by that I mean once opened, most spf only last a year).

dementedma · 29/08/2019 20:46

I bought the ordinary 1% retinol but now, having read about the likely reaction, am scared to use it!!! Is my face going to peel off???

sheshootssheimplores · 30/08/2019 10:46

I have a new one 🤭

Had upper cheek and tear trough fillers done day before yesterday. I still have some bruising but wow, that has made a HUGE difference to my face in terms of ageing. It’s subtle, but it’s effective.

Can’t afford to do too much non surgical stuff as it’s so much money but dermarollering and fillers in this area seem a good middle road.

Cozytoesandtoast00 · 30/08/2019 10:51

Leuella
Your are right in that is what my dentist also said.
However, I had a receeding gum on one tooth and it grew back! I didn't use anything for it though.

Abkbjbjb · 30/08/2019 18:27

Following for ideas :)

tigerbear · 31/08/2019 11:32

Adding to my ‘weapons against spots’ stash: the ‘Say Yes To Tomatoes’ range (I know, crazy name) is very effective. I’ve had the charcoal micellar face wash for a while, and yesterday I bought the charcoal cleansing scrub stick and the Cucumber soothing mask. I think this range would also be great for a teen with problem skin, as it’s not harsh, and added bonus of the packaging being really fun (the mask is in a squeezy Tube with a roller on the end, and you just roll it up and and down your face).
Used both last night, and my skin is much better this morning.
That BalanceMe congested skin serum that other Tiger mentioned up thread is the absolute bomb. I’ve only been using it about 4 days, but it’s almost seen off a MASSIVE under the skin spot. It drew it out within a day, then it sorted of crusted over, and now it’s nearly gone! Definite noticeable improvement day to day.
The only thing is, the bottle is TINY and I’m nearly half way through it in less than a week 😬😬

@sheshootssheimplores

How much did it cost to get your tear troughs done?

sheshootssheimplores · 31/08/2019 21:48

I suppose the lady I use is quite reasonable by comparison to other places I looked at but I still think it’s crazy money.

She charges by the syringe and does a slight discount for more than one. So I have one syringe in my tear troughs and one in my upper cheeks and the total price was £580.

JMAngel1 · 31/08/2019 21:57

@sheshoots. where are you based? that's a fantastic price.

sheshootssheimplores · 31/08/2019 22:06

She’s based in Bedfordshire.

ihatethecold · 03/09/2019 20:19

Thanks shoots.

WhatMeghanWants · 04/09/2019 13:25

I'd definitely recommend these:

Beauty Pie Cleansing Cloths - around a fiver for 3

GOW Vitamin C Serum - as good as mega expensive Skinceuticals one IMO

Benefit Hoola Bronzer

Dior Abricot Nail and Cuticle Cream - AMAZING for dry cuticles, my beauty product purchase of the year hands down!
