Mine is for body:
St Tropez in shower tanning lotion.
Fuck me, it’s incredible!! Although I can get a decent natural tan on the rest of my body, my legs never tan and I’ve never found anything fake tan wise which looks good until now. I only bought the St Tropez because I had vouchers for TKMaxx and saw it in there for about half the normal price, not thinking it would work (with most fake tans I buy, they end up at the back of the cupboard as I’m too lazy to spend ages on application, and I didn’t have high hopes on this, with it only being 3 min to leave it on for.
I bought the light one, and after googling reviews, everyone says to def leave it longer than it says on the tube, so I left it around 6 min, and there was a definite difference.
It’s not a dark tan at all, it just takes the edge of having pasty white legs.
So impressed that I then ordered the medium shade from Amazon, and WOW!
I went out last night after applying this the night before, and had the confidence to wear a short skirt. A friend said I looked like I had model’s legs!
It looks so natural and like a real proper tan, no streaks at all. Total miracle stuff!

The other things I’ve discovered recently for my very spotty and congested skin: Niacimide by The Ordinary, plus Sudocreme - really takes down the redness, and heals spots faster.

Mac Dare You is an amazing red lipstick. I bought it after seeing Phoebe Waller-Bridge wearing it in Fleabag.

tigerbear · 24/08/2019 21:49

Oh wow @TigerDroveAgain that Balanceme serum is EXACTLY what I need right now. Off to order some!

The st tropez facial mist is amazing. I spray it over my makeup.

I originally used the in shower st tropez and was quite happy with it, but started using their express mousse this summer and it’s even better. You apply and leave for 1,2 or 3 hours depending on how deep a tan you want, then wash off in the shower. It’s fab.

Lumea. Going on holiday is a breeze now. One quick shave in 2 weeks! No stubble, itchy red spots, prickly thick black hairs or paranoia by the pool.

suze28 · 24/08/2019 22:04

Superfacialist vitamin c cleansing oil is amazing at removing all makeup so easily. I couldn't live without Pixi Rose Tonic either.

Shelby43 · 24/08/2019 22:07

Those Korean cloths recommended on hair. I was quite shocked at the amount of dirt that came off, plus my skin felt silky smooth as a result. Game changer!

Babyliss Big Hair: my hair is always big and bouncy and I get compliments on it.

Moroccan Oil: again makes my hair look amazing after styling

Vaseline around eyes and slathered on neck each night -massively rejuvenating a
Gengigel on gums night and morn - they’re growing back!!!
Intermittent fasting - life changing.

Shelby43 · 24/08/2019 22:32

@sheshootssheimplores I'm curious about the Gengigel as it's new to me. My friend has receding gums which are pretty bad but he hasn't got funds to fix professionally. How does it work?

Fluffycloudland77 · 24/08/2019 22:33

My led light mask.
Ordinary caffeine, nicanamide & the vitamin c powder.

sheshootssheimplores · 24/08/2019 22:38

As we age we don’t produce as much hyaluronic acid and one of the (many) things that are impacted are our gums. They tend to recede. The gel is completely natural and allows the hyaluronic acid to penetrate the gums and they start to grow back. It’s honestly amazing stuff.

It’s not a miracle. If your friend has gum recession through active gum disease it won’t grow then back but it will soothe them. My slight recession is through bad brushing technique when I was young and my age. Also it won’t regrow gum over veneers, only against natural teeth.

@thenightsky can I ask what are 11’s please?

Sigh81 · 25/08/2019 08:05

Korean Italy cloths and then my chiropodist sponge: once a week and I have silky soft skin and feet, and much cheaper than Footner or wash-off body exfoliates.

Both were S&B recommendations btw.

Also, my dermatologist. I had terrible acne scars (and acne) - I now get stopped in the street by strangers complimenting my skin.

Aleesha1 · 25/08/2019 08:08

@Sigh81 could you post link to chiropodist sponge?

HermioneWeasley · 25/08/2019 08:11

Tell me more about the Korean cloths!

Sarcelle · 25/08/2019 08:12

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray - marvellous stuff.

Vaseline on top of eye gel at night.

La Roche Posay moisturiser and hand cream.

(The St Tropez mousse - do you have to shower it off. I only have access to bath at the moment and so many fake tans require a shower off.)

TheClitterati · 25/08/2019 08:20

I don't use many products / but I started using The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 and it has made a remarkable change to my 51yo face. Very soft, pore size on nose dramatically reduced.

Best £6 I ever spent.

PersonaNonGarter · 25/08/2019 08:30

This Toni and Guy blowdry spray from Boots - it’s amazing!

I have been on a quest for a pre-blowdry heat protector that isn’t heavy/crispy/waxy and leaves my hair a bit shinier. This is the stuff if you have frizzy or over-worked hair.

What has been your latest holy grail/can’t do without it purchase?
tehtarik · 25/08/2019 08:49

They're frown lines, @myidentitymycrisis!

OMGshefoundmeout · 25/08/2019 09:17

I normally have quite a tight skincare regime (cream cleanser, cleansing cloths, glycolic acid, retinol, serums etc etc) and am quite happy with the way my skin looks normally but last week I was at our holiday cottage and discovered I had run out of everything except moisturiser so I cleansed and toned using just some generic orange blossom water I bought a few years ago from a middle eastern food store. The next day my skin looked and felt incredible.

OhTheRoses · 25/08/2019 09:22

No 7 three in one face wipes.
Boden dress: Amelie for summer: Abigail for winter. Easy, hangs well, neat, day to evening: bought navy for summer and now have teal and black for winter. Perfect for work

Elllllle · 25/08/2019 09:56

I love threads like this.

Recent? Um ...

Makeup forever matte velvet foundation for work. Stays put!

Thisworks primer. Honestly just the best. Ive repurchased recently so I'll cheat and include it!

Maybelline lip ink. This stuff is the bomb. I've posted on another thread about it, but honestly, I stopped a stranger in the street to comment on her amazing orange lippie. She then had to tell me all about how amazing it was and how long lasting and smooth it was. Her shade was Heroine, I love Loyalist. Actually I love them both.

@sheshootssheimplores what sort of intermittent fasting do you do? I really need to lose some weight.

Aleesha1 · 25/08/2019 10:12

@Elllllle might try the lip ink, is it very matte?

AltogetherAndrews · 25/08/2019 10:20

Body shop drops of youth liquid peel

alwaysthinkingofsleep · 25/08/2019 10:23

BECCA UNDER EYE BRIGHTENING CORRECTOR
I'm shouting because it's that good! If you have dark circles & wear make up to try to conceal, BUY THIS! Game changer for me
