linen blend, pop-on, DO I SPY POCKETS?

I do quite like that Next dress but all the patterns leave me cold. I think I’m going to have to go through my wardrobe and count exactly how many SRDs I already have (mostly from charity shops) in order to dissuade myself from getting the black one.

Actually now I think if it I even bought a Poncetastic Christmas Book off the back of that thread. We had Poncetastic napkins and napkin ring holders that year.

I struggle with the Next ones as I'm tall and pear-shaped. My thinnest part in my waist so these do nothing for me, especially as they come up quite short on me.

Yeah Find I’m a little anti-pattern myself. On a bad day in iffy light I can take on the look of a sofa. But the plain colours are v versatile. Nice on holiday when you fancy a mooch around the shops but shorts are a bit rucky in the heat.

@rabbitseatdogs have a look at la redoute for comfy and nice linen dresses. I bought a few last year from them, midi length, with pockets, linen or linen mix, in black, mid grey and khaki. They had other colours but I don't really do other colours. They have something along those lines every summer.

School run dress is just mn shorthand for comfy, practical summer dress. Not necessarily for actual school runs. Daft thing to be getting all aerated about.

I like the very first dress! My friend who always looks amazing and chic would wear something like that (on the school run ) and would turn heads. I would look awful in it. We're early 30s.

We have a Bon Marche near us, I didn't realise it was an old persons shop. I'd never heard of it until I moved to this town a few years ago, and I've never seen it anywhere else so assumed it was a local brand until I saw it on the news today
