Kate’s makeup is very nice too, and her hair is just wow!

Meghan looks amazing there, as does the Queen. Camilla just looks so comfortable. Kate's dress probably feels nice on, but I think the look is too old for her. She'd have looked better in a shift dress like Meghan.

I don’t like Kate’s dress at all. For a start it’s very reminiscent of the Missoni from last week, except it doesn’t even have the lurex to liven it up. Looks like a cheap nylon nightie and the colour is the worst I’ve ever seen on her. It’s just a nothing colour with a vague waft of mint green.

Meghan on the other hand looks great. The style of her dress has a bit of a 60s vibe which matches her hair.
She’s wearing what looks like Matt America tan tights. She needs some Wolford glossies and also the shoes look too big.
It’s fine on bare feet which have a grip, but not with tights. Looks precarious. Also think a metallic pump; maybe bronze, would have been better than the suede which looks a bit pinkish.

Yes purple isn't my favourite colour in the queen I prefer the pink from Christmas I think Camillias outfit is a bit odd. I'm normally a fan of the her look but today's isn't working for me. I think it maybe these pleat like bits not sure.

Bit of a lurker on these posts, I found you lot after evil frog eye dress on Kate (which I actually loved) and went back and read the whole lot of previous threads! Just finished them today :) Best threads on MN by far!

Love MM's outfit today, finally something that seems to fit nicely, I loved her pre-pregnancy style but do agree with most she has struggled with her changing shape and throwing money at the big designers hasn't helped really but today I really like it.

I love DoC style off duty style in general and her "work uniform" but today is a miss from me, the colour, the shape and it is generally just a bit boring.

Kate is basically wearing a copy of the dress she wore last week and it wasn't even a great look to start with.

Her look is becoming soooo boring now.

MM looks ace!

I really like the purple on the Queen. I think she suits the bold colours now she is older as she has pure white hair. When it was brown, or transitioning to grey, I don’t think she wore such bold colours.

But at least she isn't wearing her pinky nude shoes like last week. These ones are marginally better with the cool green.

Kate looks so old, it is hard to believe she is not yet forty. And she is too thin, that is a fact, not a bitchy comment. It is her choice to be like that of course. Personally I think she looks better when she carries more weight.

Meghan looks well, she is glamorous and it oozes from her like a butterfly among moths.

I hope we see a photo of William and Harry chatting and smiling together to put those rumours to rest!

Don’t think we should make comments about anyone’s appearance if it’s something they can’t change, eg it’s ok to say they have heavy makeup/bad colour palette but their aging/skinny ankles (Kate and MM both seem to have these comments all the time!), maybe I’m just being sensitive and I know there are no bad intentions :)

Wish this had been a more formal event, we don’t get to see tiaras and sashes as much as I’d like!

I think Kate’s make up looks lovely I’ve been after that shade of lippy for ages - any ideas what it is?

I don’t like the sleeves on Kate’s dress and the high collar and buttons make it all look a bit matronly - I also don’t think it flatters her figure, it makes her look thinner than she is? Unless she really is that thin.

I actually really like Meghan’s look.

By the way, tricky event to dress for! If you were going, would you just assume “wedding guest outfit” sort of vibe?

She usually wears Bobbi Brown doesn't she? Maybe one of their shades

I agree more formal events Would be nice gowns, tiaras and all the pomp and ceremony is what the royals do best! Plus I'm still waiting to see what Megan's tiara of choice is! But I doubt that will have the pr spin on balls and banquets during economic hard times wouldn't be good would it.

Inside doesn’t need a coat, so MM is a no there but dress lovely.

I like Kate’s dress, similar to the pink one also that she wore to Pippas wedding. Very elegant and unshowy. Reflective of its wearer perhaps.

Oh Kate. Honestly with her figure she could wear virtually anything. That dress is just so bloody dull. Maybe she really does have no interest in fashion.
