Vintage Paris today. I’d forgotten how lovely this is. I’ve been looking everywhere for the perfect Rose Sandalwood perfume without success. I seem to be anosmic to some Sandalwood aroma chemical in Sarah Ireland/ Angela flanders ones. But this is just perfect.

SOTD is MG Fire. Am still full of cold and my sinuses are really painful despite taking paracetamol, ibuprofen and decongestant since I got up this morning. Knackered, bloated, pre-menstrual.

Pity the poor prospective students I'm interviewing today, they'd better not say anything daft Grin

SOTD is 4160 Tuesdays Raw silk and Red Roses. It's very beautiful and very strong. I sprayed it three hours ago and it's not quitting. I like that in a perfume.

Am currently sitting on my hands so I don't order ALL THE TOYS as a lazy expression of love for my boys, so hopefully that will also prevent me from getting carried away with perfume samples.

SOTD is 4160 rhubarb and custard. I'm wearing this a lot at the moment.

Baby is coming home today. Hurray!!

lots really pleased your wee one is on the mend. chevy sorry - I did this one last night when I saw we were creeping to the end of the last.

Cat-face was back at the vet today - we need to keep going with the Corsodyl stuff for another fortnight, so she will be delighted with that, but she's healing fine. Great commotion this morning when there was a big grey cat in next door's garden. I am not sure she's really encountered other cats before, but she did a lot of screeching and has a big scratch on her nose.

Thank you Judy for the new thread. It has been very springlike over the last few days, luckily coinciding with a short stay in Norfolk in Thetford Forest. We visited Oxburgh Hall, where there were some beautiful snowdrops in full bloom. Here is a photo. We also glimpsed their kitchen garden. Had to really, as I was wearing 4160Tuesdays Le Jardin de Monsieur McGregor! Love this one, all sweet and rooty with wisps of pipe smoke. It sits very close, but I don’t mind that.

Maud, I find Olbas Oil very comforting for sinus trouble. Sprinkle a few drops on a folded tissue and keep it by your pillow. It doesn’t interfere with anything else you’re taking (except bedtime perfume!) and really helps a blocked nose. Oh, and I would second sea water sprays.

SOTD MH Tea Tonique. My husband has just complimented it, which is very rare as he’s not usually a perfume fan.
