I’ve just tried to order some Verveine samples from the James Heeley website. They’re out of stock along with a couple of others. Now I’m concerned that it’s being discontinued . I’m just wondering whether to buy a bottle before that happens. Because it’s so expensive I’ve always just ordered multiple samples as there wasn’t a cap on the numbers. Unlike most other websites.
Yes, there’s definitely a bug going around. Myself and kids have all had it. It’s like a flu, but not the flu. It makes you really tired and lethargic plus gives you bunged up ears and a sore throat/ chesty cough.

That's exactly what I've got, teta. Went for a walk to the shops earlier (10 mins away) and had to lie down afterwards!

Am now under a blanket on the sofa with chocolate and crochet...

Although the newest 4160 crowdfunder - Clouds - sounds interesting. It's in association with Eau My Soul so if it's anything like the last one I shall definitely be tempted. Not cheap, though...

I’m enjoying it, but you can tell it’s not a ‘proper’ 4160 finished article perfume. It feels like a very simple vanilla with some woody depth. Very nice to wear, but you’ve not missed out on anything very exciting!

Well, I’ve got a little bottle of J Lo Still on it’s way to me. I felt like I needed a treat after today. Trying to keep the house tidy, have complicated conversations with estate agents and tend to a grumpy one year old is exhausting.

Moving house is a ball ache toft you have my sympathies.

I'm back in hospital with DS, who has picked up something else following his stay here last week. Hopefully only in for 48hrs.
Threw PP Tobacco Vanille in my overnight bag as I packed this evening as I find it a very easy, comforting wear.

Bought a bottle of James Heeley Verveine d Eugenie today. I think it’s the most expensive bottle I’ve ever bought. As a skinflint I normally buy half used niche bottles on eBay. I just couldn’t bear not to have a bottle if it’s discontinued, which looks a possibility. Hence keeping to the Verveine theme it’s L occitane Verveine for my Sotd.
Clouds sounds interesting with the narcissus and sandalwood.
Toftheb, moving house with a baby is hell. I remember it well.

SOTD is Zoologist Elephant. A fierce vegetal green in the opening, getting sweeter and softer with notes of coconut and cacao, this is an interesting and invigorating one. Reminds me that I really need to re-explore my samples; there's some good and under-used stuff in my stash!
