And I shouldn't have to say this anymore but will do so for any newbies - let's keep our critiquing to the clothes and not the women wearing them.

God I hate the flippy skirt it’s so 90’s and girly to boot, don’t agree with pp saying Kate has long legs, she has a long body and relatively short legs, (lovely none the less) however her clothes always sit high on the waist giving the impression she has longer legs than she actually has.

I really like Kate's outfit today.

Camilla spends more than Anne but I bet Margaret spent just as much as HM, if not more!

What is the issue with D & G?

I was also thinking that maybe Kate is spending more as she is becoming more regal. (Closer to the throne ).

True Queen, those boned swimsuits wouldn't come cheap.

I don't really care how much they spend if they look good but I am very very shallow I also assume they get a good deal on the pieces they buy.

I wondered if the flippy skirts might be to create the illusion of a curvier/less straight up and down shape? The structured shoulders of the jacket + flippy skirt + fitted waist = more hourglass look.

They all spend a ridiculous amount and i domy have an issue with the press reporting on it but it should be fair Camillia, Kate Meghan they all spend to much and what frustrates me is the overall look is achievable elsewhere for a lot less especially as they can get things tailored.

I think if they were sensible they would all cut back but I don't thing that will happen.

I love the flippy skirt - with legs like that she can wear them. Straight pencil skirt would be aging/ conservative.

Lovely skirt on tonight’s dress. I wish I was willowy enough to wear evening dresses like that (& needed them).

I'm not mad on the suit. It's very very dark. It's almost identical in shape to that burgundy Paule Ka suit she's had for years and years.

I don't really mind a flippy skirt, but it's all very funereal.

Camilla spends a fortune - all her clothes are bespoke.

I love the skirt of tonights gown and I appreciate the colours.

But by God that bosom looks painfully tight. Maybe it's just the angle.

Morning’s outfit was fine on Kate, loved the hair.
Skirt as pp said was very 90s, too flippy and schoolgirl length.

Evening, colour blocking wierd; colour too insipid. Looks like she clipped her hair back herself.

I think my issue with both duchesses spending £££s, is you they want to drop several grand on an outfit, it should look like something you could buy in Zara/ whistles / hennés etc.

Sorry last sentence made no sense. Their multi thousand pound outfits should have some kind of wow factor, eg the McQueen the other night, to justify the cost. Otherwise just stick to high end high street...

I love love the dress tonight. Yes the bust may look a little tight but the colours and the romance of it. Even the little belt- gorgeous
