Yes shame about the Ombre T , in fact although I have ordered a few things (its getting embarrassing keeping going to the post office with my returns!!) I have only kept the green Lucky T and the Helena shirt so far, so feeling quite virtuous!! ,

However I have ( as i had a JL voucher) ordered the striped wide top today, and Ella i think that would look really stylish for wandering around in Rome in with some black 3/4 cigarette trousers (like the Boden Richmonds or the Hush Ingrid jeans ) and flatties..

At the moment I'm not sure that i will order anything else out off the spring collection as none of it is really grabbing me as a must have ,
-although may change my mind about the red maxi or the Jayne dress once the weather warms up.. But as you know I do have maxis from past years..

However Imay sell the pale blue flowery one from last year (or perhaps dye it something darker ..) its wasn't really a favourite ,too pale .. ( I think i was over- enabled by you lot for that ) .I am also definitely going to sell my green Marissa dress.. I only wore it once all summer, it just didnt really feel right on me..

Laska2Meryls · 04/03/2019 20:47

.. oh , and the navy slub T ..

Laska2Meryls · 04/03/2019 20:49

ordered and kept the navy slub T from SS19 I meant.

Ellapaella · 04/03/2019 20:58

Oh yes laska I like that striped top - love it styled with the cropped black trousers. Good call.

Ellapaella · 04/03/2019 21:00

I have literally no idea what the weather will be like. Google tells me anywhere between 15-20 degrees but that's quite a big difference! It's the difference between needing to wear a jacket and being able to wear a sun dress! Guess I'll have to have several options and then see what the forecast is like a few days before.

Ellapaella · 04/03/2019 21:02

In fact @Laska2Meryls I love that whole outfit the model is wearing, love those leopard sling backs. But at £149 they are way out of my price range 😥

Is @neveradullmoment99 about? Hope you are ok, haven't heard much from you on here for a few days xx

Talisin · 04/03/2019 21:08

OMG - Sarah Michelle Gellar is weaing the Starla blouse on her Insta post today! OK, I realise it’s probably not actually the Starla but something more designer (maybe the same one Alexandra Shulman was wearing) but it could be. As the biggest Buffy fan on the planet, back in the day, this is a huge moment for me Grin

Laska2Meryls · 04/03/2019 21:16

ella Office have leopard slingback flatties £29. And so do Topshop (neither are as nice as the Hush ones, true.. )

Laska2Meryls · 04/03/2019 21:24

and these Dune leopard print ones are in their sale Ella

Ellapaella · 04/03/2019 22:15

You are a genius laska
Seriously tempted by those Dune ones!

neveradullmoment99 · 04/03/2019 22:53

Hi there @Ella. Thanks for thinking about me :) I am actually here and check in at lunch time at work but mostly read rather than post. I am just really tired with work and I seem to have tons to do atm. I am still enjoying reading all your fashion news. I was on a the weekend. Bought the hush chino pencil skirt. Really pleased with it and will post a picture when i have the time. Apart from that, not much news. Will be on more Thursday onwards. Was having a little giggle watching flea bag. God its really rude but its sooo funny. Anyone else watching the new series?

laska love the look of the striped top, what size did you go for?

I also have JL vouchers!

twosoups1972 · 04/03/2019 23:05

Tempted by the Hush reversible grey/pink star jumper, anyone tried it?

neveradullmoment99 · 04/03/2019 23:08

I also love the look of that top. I am guessing its the striped wide top? Might be tempted to get. I have got all mine in either a small or xs.

Laska2Meryls · 05/03/2019 09:17

Yes striped wide top I went for the S I think I tried the green in xs last autumn and settled for the S in the end as the sleeves were tighter than I liked on the X's , also the body wasn't much different.
I'm wearing grey Meryl today ! And faux leather leggings,

Laska2Meryls · 05/03/2019 09:19

....I'm still a bit too fat for my real leather ones.. they fit ok but I don't want to stretch them to the size I am right now.. ( this has GOT to be my motivation or else it was a complete waste buying them.. )

justilou1 · 05/03/2019 09:44

@Laska - that’s why I want faux ones (that and they’d go mouldy here, anyway....). I remember seeing a comedienne talking about how her husband had a thing for leather trousers and she thought she’d get some to impress him, but it was only then that she realised how “truly uncomfortable cows must be!”.... I think I will wait and see if I can get some Spanx here without having to sell a kidney.

SoyYo · 05/03/2019 10:28

@laska you sound very stylish today.
I also like the stripe wide top but I know it won’t like me Sad...I need a v neck like the black one from last AW as I also own the grey wide top from previous season (round neck) and that one only gets worn on homeworking days as the higher neck makes me look enormous with my boobs. No v necks so far this season which is a shame or I’d be buying another one now as they’re really super comfy.

@Talisin well if it’s good enough for Buffy the vampire slayer (AND Alexandra) definitely good enough for us! Smile

SoyYo · 05/03/2019 10:38

Well done @never on your bike exercise!
I have to admit defeat with my advanced Pilates class after having another go yesterday eve...it’s crazy and I have a sore back today which completely defeats the purpose of Pilates (and had previously totally got rid of) so back to the intermediate group for me from next week. I wish my old Physio Pilates teacher decided to hold classes again as my current instructor is a complete fitness freak (she also does daily running club, weight fitness classes, etc) and I think she’s young, súper fit, hooked on exercise endorphin high and admitted to even challenging herself with the exercises in the advanced group. Wtf? I’m not paying for that level of torture or injury and really quite disappointed. In my group the majority are quite a bit younger and also partake in other sports so I feel a bit of a failure but I can’t go on pushing myself as after 3 years I feel like giving up altogether...

ilovecherries · 05/03/2019 10:49

See when a surgeon tells you that you are undertaking major surgery? Believe him. I was so focussed on surviving the anaesthetic that I was like ‘oh, I will be fine in a couple of day, it’s not like they are opening any body cavities. Plus, I’m a surgical pro, I know what it will be like.’ 18 days in and I’m still wiped out, to the point I ended up crying over changing the sheets. And if I don’t get a bloody shower soon I won’t be responsible for my actions. Feeling very sorry for self today, send kick up backside.

Ellapaella · 05/03/2019 11:07

Cherries bless you. Sorry to hear you're not feeling so good. Your body needs lots of time to heal and recover so be super kind to yourself xx Thanks These things take their toll emotionally as well - we are here to lend an ear whenever you need.

I'm not so great either today - woke up this am feeling breathless and with a niggly pain in my chest when I breathe in. Currently back on the cardiac ward waiting for a lung scan to rule out blood clot. I'm so disappointed as I was feeling so good yesterday and was ready to go back to work today.

Ellapaella · 05/03/2019 11:13

And cherries I absolutely will not send a kick up the backside! I'm sending positive vibes and saying listen to your body, slow down if you need to and take good care of yourself. Xx

ilovecherries · 05/03/2019 11:36

Oh no, Ella, that’s scary, I hope it’s ok. I’m still on anti colags because it took me so long to get properly mobile, I was so sick and faint for days. And still wearing the stockings. I do hope your scan is ok. I don’t (apart from length of anaesthetic and being flat afterwards) have any risk factors for dvt but I don’t think I will fully exhale till I get to a month post op.
