I’m just starting to explore perfume more seriously, and I’ve been enjoying ordering and trying lots of samples.

Right now I’m wearing Carnal Flower by Frederic Malle. This one is so disappointing. I love it, but it just doesn’t last on me. I doused myself in this and an hour and a half later it’s barely there at all. I was really hoping this was going to be something I could wear once the weather gets a bit warmer.

SOTD Jour d'Hermes for a visit from the big boss. Went ok thank goodness. Now in hairdresser's getting my roots seen to!

Against all sensible advice, I nipped back to TK Maxx and got that bottle of Tea Tonique.

I like it, phew! It’s not quite how I’d imagined (less citrus, more sweet warmth) but it’s got a very clear tea note and it’s both interesting and very wearable. I think I’m going to enjoy it.

Guerlain’s Nahema for valentines day this morning. Showered and Profumum Roma’s Neroli for a school thing.

What is it with schools and Valentine's night, Teta? We have something on too and DH and I had plans to lie next to each other in bed on our phones

SOTD is the Be Delicious Night which chevvy very kindly sent me (I did PM you to say thanks but can't get into my inbox now so hope you got it!) I actually really like, the sweet stage is very quick to dry down to a powdery floral on me. It's really cheered me up which I needed today as my epilepsy is going haywire and I can't have my driving licence back. I am extremely pissed off (and achey!) to say the least On the plus side, for anyone considering lip fillers, can I recommend biting through your lips instead? Once you clean the blood up you have gorgeous full lips and it's free

Spring is definitely coming though and I went out with a jumper but no coat before!

SOTD was Timeless but i have just applied MH Tender and it is lovely but it is giving me a headache.

Floofy yep, it does wonders for pouty lips. That does not mean it is good.

SotD Tokyo Launderette's Dead Sexy. This is becoming a bit of a go to, mainly because it is on the kitchen counter Perfectly average.

SotD Happy which is going off a bit. It's not the most stable perfume. Then SotE is my Valentine present (bought by me!) Rose Silence. I smell very rosey now!

Oh, meant to say Tea Tonique reminds me of EA Green Tea. Lovely in hot weather.

Baby much improved but sadly still in hospital. Still requiring oxygen at night (in fact the blasted machine has just started beeping again - I hoped tonight would be the night he'd manage without). But he's active and happy, and a hundred times better than he was even yesterday morning.

Blank I feel like a complete perfume Philistine for even admitting this but I just can't find a FM perfume I like. I should love POAL based on the notes but I just find it very blah.

SOTD is 4160 sexiest scent. It's comforting and also appropriate for a valentines where DH and I passed like ships in the night, only speaking to provide updates on whichever child we were responsible for.

Both! This is a new name (because of the data breach), but I’m also new to the thread. I don’t know much about perfume at all, but I’m interested in learning. I bought a stack of samples from Les Scenteurs and Scent Samples and I’ve been working through them one by one.

Nice avon samples thanks floofy bit I must order any more this month :)
