Princess Eugenie's wedding: The sartorial highs and lows. Plus Fergie's back, bitches!

Following on from the general royal style thread, which is fast filling up, here's one just to discuss today's outfits.

My predictions

I’m really hoping Fergie will look fabulous - <a class="break-all" href="http://go.mumsnet.com/?xs=1&id=470X1554755&url=goo.gl/images/Ex3BbE" target="_blank">teal or <a class="break-all" href="http://go.mumsnet.com/?xs=1&id=470X1554755&url=goo.gl/images/oiAQaV" target="_blank">forest green look good on her.

After Kate's recent trip to the V&A, I’m hoping for something a bit more adventurous than a pale blue or yellow coat dress. Sophie in blue or pink Wickstead, Meghan in navy and/or boat-neck. She and Victoria Beckham may end up in similar outfits.

The Queen in fuchsia, neon green or yellow, Ladies Sarah and Helen in something elegant and understated, Karen Spencer in a dress that’s spectacular but so tight she can’t breathe.

And of course Princess Anne in a dress she's owned since 1986 that still fits her perfectly!

I feel very sorry for Louise, it looked to me like she’d been left to deal with getting all those little children up the stairs on her own. Too much for a 14 year old when all the media are watching.

Bob Geldofs daughter Pixie takes the prize for worst outfit, she is rocking the Barbara Cartland look!

Agree @serenmoon, if Beatrice was supposed to be MoH she should've helped out with the little ones. Then poor Louise might've been able to hold onto her dress with one hand too.

Eugenie looked gorgeous, she nailed it. Not sure why the press is making a big deal of her scar.

Kate looked amazing. Love that colour on her.

Meghan is either pregnant or gonna be by the way Harry looks at her.

I felt that lots of people looked to be dressed for a spring wedding though? Odd. Even Eugenie with the emerald green etc.

Beatrice is blue, good color, wrong cut and style. She consistently gets it wrong I find.

I liked Kate's dress and the colour. I liked Meghan too and im sure it was planned for her to wear a dark colour on purpose.

I'm just watching the news and was pleased to see the coverage stopped before Louise's embarrassment.

Louise got a raw deal there and then the dress.
A maid of honour is supposed to support the bride, fix her train make sure the kids are in check. Beatrice did nothing and it was Andrew that had to sort out the dress!

Totally inappropriate for anyone to tweet or report pics about Louise and her skirt. She is a minor and probably mortified about it.

Why did the queen run after the car?!

A few people posted the photo on Twitter as they thought it was Beatrice. Pretty vile to post that, regardless of how old the woman in question is.

@Dontfeellikeamillenial Fergie is still the Duchess of York but she's Sarah, Duchess of York rather than HRH The Duchess of York. Much like how Diana was Diana, Princess of Wales after her divorce and lost her HRH.

Poppy Delevingne in that dress looks very cheap. It looks like she has no underwear on.
