Following on from the general royal style thread, which is fast filling up, here's one just to discuss today's outfits.

My predictions

I’m really hoping Fergie will look fabulous - <a class="break-all" href="http://go.mumsnet.com/?xs=1&id=470X1554755&url=goo.gl/images/Ex3BbE" target="_blank">teal or <a class="break-all" href="http://go.mumsnet.com/?xs=1&id=470X1554755&url=goo.gl/images/oiAQaV" target="_blank">forest green look good on her.

After Kate's recent trip to the V&A, I’m hoping for something a bit more adventurous than a pale blue or yellow coat dress. Sophie in blue or pink Wickstead, Meghan in navy and/or boat-neck. She and Victoria Beckham may end up in similar outfits.

The Queen in fuchsia, neon green or yellow, Ladies Sarah and Helen in something elegant and understated, Karen Spencer in a dress that’s spectacular but so tight she can’t breathe.

And of course Princess Anne in a dress she's owned since 1986 that still fits her perfectly!

I'm watching This Morning and also guests arriving on the Sun on YouTube.

Were the high winds not forecast ? Seem to have caught out 99% of attendees .

As does the showing of invitations .

Hmm, ITV is spending a lot of its time not showing guests arriving.

I'm watching the arrivals on sky news. You can watch them on YouTube too, but they run the comments over the screen, which is annoying.

They just said Stella McCartney's the hot tip for dress designer so I'm suddenly feeling a bit doubtful...

Plus they said they expected a veil 'Unless she changes her mind today due to the wind'. As if you'd do that on the day!

Are ITV showing the actual wedding ceremony too? The royal YouTube channel says it won't be. I found it on too but it doesn't say if they'll broadcast the ceremony.

That was announced a while ago. She has a prior engagement that she doesn't want to let down. There are a couple of minor royals missing for the same reason I believe.
