Princess Eugenie's wedding: The sartorial highs and lows. Plus Fergie's back, bitches!

Following on from the general royal style thread, which is fast filling up, here's one just to discuss today's outfits.

My predictions

I’m really hoping Fergie will look fabulous - <a class="break-all" href="http://go.mumsnet.com/?xs=1&id=470X1554755&url=goo.gl/images/Ex3BbE" target="_blank">teal or <a class="break-all" href="http://go.mumsnet.com/?xs=1&id=470X1554755&url=goo.gl/images/oiAQaV" target="_blank">forest green look good on her.

After Kate's recent trip to the V&A, I’m hoping for something a bit more adventurous than a pale blue or yellow coat dress. Sophie in blue or pink Wickstead, Meghan in navy and/or boat-neck. She and Victoria Beckham may end up in similar outfits.

The Queen in fuchsia, neon green or yellow, Ladies Sarah and Helen in something elegant and understated, Karen Spencer in a dress that’s spectacular but so tight she can’t breathe.

And of course Princess Anne in a dress she's owned since 1986 that still fits her perfectly!

Gosh. Pippa hardly looks pregnant at all. Thats a really well designed dress from that point of view! Still got the vertiginous shoes on. I wonder how they all managed with the cobbles and the inclines. Saw one woman looking decidedly awkward walking down a slope.

Fergie has really gone up in my estimation since it was reported that she helped the couple on the flight who lost their daughter from eating that pret sandwich.
I think she comes across as being a nice woman unlike many of the Royals who on the whole are entitled dogs.

Meghan looked lovely and so was Kate. Kate finally ditched the horrible eyeliner.

Fergie's hat is like straw ribbon with colours of potatoe beetle.

Thought Eugenie looked beautiful and loved her dress. Also thought Beatrice looked good and Fergie. Love that Fergie seems so down to earth, going over to chat to someone when she was meant to be going into the chapel, waving at people. I have always preferred her to Diana.

Thought all the children looked lovely. Robbie Williams' daughter is a little beauty isn't she?

Not that keen on Meghan's outfit but, let's be honest, she would look good in a bin bag.

Contrary to most on here, I was really not keen on the colour of Kate's outfit. I didn't think it suited her at all - made her look pale and was pretty ageing

I have to say I didn’t think Kate looked amazing either. I didn’t like the style and also thought she looked tired and old.

Kate's dress was amazing. For once. But she's slapped in the make up again which makes her look older imo

Can someone fill me in: what's the association with Eug and tequila?

I agree, very boring now the navy VB look. Surprised people actually like the green dress of pippa. Very drab.

Eug's husband is brand ambassador of the tequila company.

Fergie's hat

I liked Eugenie's accessories. The Violet headband with blue dress was cute. And pale blue shoes and matching box bag instead of ubiquitous clutch was cute

Did Beatrice perform MoH duties like the way Pippa did at Kate's wedding? I didn't think she did but maybe I missed it. I thought the MoH walks in with the bride, rather than just going and sitting down.

I thought the Beckhams were supposed to be attending?

Kate looked lovely the other night when she had less makeup on. Today she was back to the heavy handed look - very ageing.

Eugenie’s dress would’ve looked nicer with slightly shorter more tailored sleeves imo.

Beatrice was clearly just a guest but called maid of honour. Fergie’s hat was bloody awful.

Naomi Campbell looked glorious. I haven’t seen any other outfits yet.

I loved her dress, thought she looked beautiful and very happy.

Is it just me or does it look like Meghan is hiding a slight bump under that coat?

I think Kate lost lots of weight. That dress from Erdem the other day looked horrible on her. She looked very thin in it and as a whole it didn't do anything to her.

No Beatrice did nothing MoH ish. I didn't see her with any children. She was just there to support Fergie. I think the blues & greens will look nice in the official photos.
