Princess Eugenie's wedding: The sartorial highs and lows. Plus Fergie's back, bitches!

Following on from the general royal style thread, which is fast filling up, here's one just to discuss today's outfits.

My predictions

I’m really hoping Fergie will look fabulous - <a class="break-all" href="http://go.mumsnet.com/?xs=1&id=470X1554755&url=goo.gl/images/Ex3BbE" target="_blank">teal or <a class="break-all" href="http://go.mumsnet.com/?xs=1&id=470X1554755&url=goo.gl/images/oiAQaV" target="_blank">forest green look good on her.

After Kate's recent trip to the V&A, I’m hoping for something a bit more adventurous than a pale blue or yellow coat dress. Sophie in blue or pink Wickstead, Meghan in navy and/or boat-neck. She and Victoria Beckham may end up in similar outfits.

The Queen in fuchsia, neon green or yellow, Ladies Sarah and Helen in something elegant and understated, Karen Spencer in a dress that’s spectacular but so tight she can’t breathe.

And of course Princess Anne in a dress she's owned since 1986 that still fits her perfectly!

The interview was awkward. They should have all sat!

I'm a long term lurker too. My bottom is firmly attached to the sofa and I'm looking forward to people spotting. My prediction for Fergie's outfit is green and orange for the Queen.

I'm going to be totally reliant on reading your comments for the wedding itself as I have to go out at 11 am for my piano lesson. Should be home by 12.30 so hopefully they'll be showing highlights on the news.

There are two women in the same, very distinct, green floral dress going in just after each other. Nightmare!

I like the colour block dress in teal and fuschia we've just seen, as well as a lady in an emerald green midi with lots of detailing down the front.

Several ugly tweed style dresses

Who ARE all these people arriving? The ‘public’ making up numbers? Or actual guests? They are too well dressed not to be real guests I think though there are a fair few middle aged women wearing blouses and tweed like skirts which is very odd for a wedding.

@SillySallySingsSongs I forgot the Spencers are no relation! So no to Karen. But Helen and Sarah should be there.

There's a rather 80's style drop waist in pink and polka dots, that I surprisingly really like.
