Princess Eugenie's wedding: The sartorial highs and lows. Plus Fergie's back, bitches!

Following on from the general royal style thread, which is fast filling up, here's one just to discuss today's outfits.

My predictions

I’m really hoping Fergie will look fabulous - <a class="break-all" href="http://go.mumsnet.com/?xs=1&id=470X1554755&url=goo.gl/images/Ex3BbE" target="_blank">teal or <a class="break-all" href="http://go.mumsnet.com/?xs=1&id=470X1554755&url=goo.gl/images/oiAQaV" target="_blank">forest green look good on her.

After Kate's recent trip to the V&A, I’m hoping for something a bit more adventurous than a pale blue or yellow coat dress. Sophie in blue or pink Wickstead, Meghan in navy and/or boat-neck. She and Victoria Beckham may end up in similar outfits.

The Queen in fuchsia, neon green or yellow, Ladies Sarah and Helen in something elegant and understated, Karen Spencer in a dress that’s spectacular but so tight she can’t breathe.

And of course Princess Anne in a dress she's owned since 1986 that still fits her perfectly!

There's a lady in a rather random combo - blue checked dress and red hat and sunglasses 😎 inside the chapel!

Last few minutes to get regular guests in. They seem to have thinned out now.

If the dress is backless then it may be high-necked in the front.

High neck and backless doesn't always look flattering on the big busted...

Imagine the idiot Robbie not being gentlemanly enough to retrieve the hat. On the other hand, it figures.

Aida - I liked the dress style but not the colour. Preferr d the mums colour. Can’t believe Robbie didn’t retrieve the dress.

Quite liked Prince Andrews interview.

A friend has scoliosis. Found that section slightly emotional.

Who is the woman with red shoes and white ankle socks? Unfortunate choice of dress, the wind is blowing so hard it is showing up her bellybutton!

Buttery I'm not sure but it stood out for all the wrong reasons!

Andrew is a complete arse. I know someone who works at the foreign office and said he is a nightmare to deal with.
I wish they would explain what their connection to these celebs is, how would they know Robbie Williams?

That pink dress above looks lovely.

Why? Both Camilla children are close to the royal children.

I wonder whether we'll see some lace on Eugenie's dress. I think she could get away with a higher neckline in lace, than she could in something like satin or silk. I'd really like to see a collarbone skim of lace and low back.
