Wow..those are hectic!

Love the cardigan though.

Well I have ordered the boots...I sold my old iPhone on eBay so can sort of justify it a bit...even though I've already got about 8 pairs of boots..and OH raised his eyes to heaven when I told him about them..ah well..can always return them if necessary.

Dave I know what you mean, the day after can make me quite emotional, possibly as alcohol can be a depressant, definitely curry film & bed a bit earlier tonight, will feel grand tomorrow.

I suffer from depression anyway len and take anti-D's.

I'm daft to get myself in such a state that I feel so hideous the next day.

I blame OH for getting the gin out.....

Sorry ladies, have really fallen off the thread this week. Manic week at work plus booking builders, heating engineers, carpet fitters etc for the new house .Moving date is officially 22nd Oct at long last.

Really rubbish about the Zebra skirts @Ella and @Never obviously not a patch on last years Florence .
I must admit as of 2 weeks ago out local JL had Hush and it doesn’t look anything’s special Instore whereas it was a bit ‘ Special ‘ when you could only buy online.

Went out with friends to dinner tonight and wore my star Emmanuel dress with ankle boots and leather jacket plus the moon and star necklace ( as recommended by Neverand was very pleased with it all. Love the dress.
We’re catching the early train with said same friends to London tomorrow to do Lunch on the South bank and Prosecco pod on the London Eye - so need to plan an outfit for that!

Inspired by Laska I dyed my stripy Aime's black with a pair of plain black ones which had faded. Pleased with how they have come out, look dark grey and black striped now so much more wearable for me.

Yes, I need to do it to. I really don't like them black and white on me. Would much prefer them darker grey with black like that.

I went into the Hush pop-up store yesterday on the way to the footie. Several nice bits in there. The leather jackets felt beautiful (but do not need another leather jacket). I like the Kensington dress as well. My favourite was the red jumper with the leopard print star. Felt and looked lovely but at £99 it's a bit ££ for me so will wait to see if any codes or mid-season offers come up.

I used the Dylon pod dye and they do 600g fabric so perfect for 2 pairs or aimes. I'm pleased with how they look as they felt too much like pyjamas with the white stripe

I've had a response back from JL re the Kensington. For now they've apologised and asked for pictures so I've sent them some showing the 'non button holes' so we'll see what they say. At least they want to see them.

How tight/loose are the amies supposed to be? I'm worried I've got them too big. Maybe it's just the jeans being too big making me paranoid.

My eldest DS is starting Uni next week so I've been running around like a blue arsed one while he roams road the house like a sloth
So I've had a very light weekend alcohol wise.
Might drink a lot of it and drown my sorrows once he's gone though

JL have offered a £15 discount on the Kensington dress.
I'm happy with that as I'm sure I wouldn't have got that directly with Hush after the palava (was it Dave?) had with the portobello.
I sent a pic of the dress with the tag on and 3 non button holes so they could see if not worn it.

I’ve worn mainly Hush this holiday - various iterations of the Alanis, Marseille shorts, Kensington dress etc and have yet to see anyone else wearing anything I recognise. Today we are at the Alhambra (currently sitting at a cafe) and I’m wearing the Next linen shift dress with the v neck back and front. I started to count how many others I spotted in various colourways, and have lost count at 27. . Given that’s in a 3 hour period, I’m guessing it’s a holiday staple for British women. . Comfy, though.

I have started a new thread re this, but are any of the hushitas here to help? In gorgeous leather shop in Grenada. Beautiful A line skirt. Have to choose right now between Burgundy and black? Photos don’t show the difference, but in principle, which would be better. Price reduced from 200 euros to 105, they have one 12 left in both colours and I’m currently clutching them both and glowering balefully at a woman stalking me found the shop to get her hands on them

Granada, not Grenada, obviously. That would be a long way from home. I bought the burgundy!

I guess black goes with anything including green/yellow/red and burgundy doesn't go with everything. Although if you're lusting after it, burgundy will go with black/navy/brown/pink.

My uniqulo fuzzy bear coat arrived today in khaki and I love it. Bargain at £34.99.
It's a M and it's definitely on the large side but I reckon it should be worn oversized.

I have gone mad today and sent n back loads of things that i bought in the last few weeks.. ( cat/vet bills partially to blame) but also have realised that I have just really gone a bit bonkers buying and my life has changed.. I dont need posh Hush and other stuff really ..theres other stuff going on in my life also, ( elderly parent and other family related) and I think I have been 'comfort buying'.

However .the one thing I have kept was the JL yellow cashmere chunky jumper ( i just swapped it it for a 10 as it was too big and it looks much better ) and the grey /black Gap jeans..The Hush pale grey v wide gone back , as well as the the charcoal T..

Also the latest things i had bought from M&s hVave been returned inc the burgundy cardi , but not the pink stripe shirt. I will be keeping the Clarks boots I think , but have reordered in a smaller size /wider fit and in the grey. I think the ones I have are just too big really and i sized up f r the fit .. th elatest JL orderof the wide trousers a dn whistle jumper was just laughable.. those wide trousers were super wide and long and the jumper could have fitted all of us in ! so many jumpers this e season are wide and far too short in the body!

Annoyingly i have noticed in the last week that two of my Hush jumpers and one T have developed holes in the same place on my stomach .. I'm wondering if its my seat belt.. The green linen Boyfriend , the grey Brigitte ( my favourite !) and the blue slub T.. Am v. annoyed.. but i think its the way i have worn them as it is all exactly the same place. .. but then no other stuff has done that ..
