Hush A/W 18 - Can't think of anything snazzy..its all about the clothes innit!

Hi all! Been lurking around but feeling a bit disillusioned with the new stuff as some of it seems really low quality having seen some of it in the flesh so I'm beginning to browse elsewhere.

BUT I have just had an email to say my Harri red furry jacket has been posted to me so I'll definitely report back. It's going to have to be something special to keep it!
I was in Uniqlo yesterday and they had these gorgeous fleecy type coats (shaggy, not ramblers-type fleece if you know what I mean Grin) that we're £34.90. I'm getting one of them if the Harri isn't staying!

In other news , I've slightly taken leave of my senses and ordered a Toast Denim Pinafore (if you knew me you'd know I only wear trousers!!!) and I've decided I'm going to put the idea out of my head that they look like prison clothes and I'm going to buy this gorgeous pair of Start Rite girls brogues to go with them!
Will report back on them too.

Like these Whistles ones. I actually really like these jeans but I cannot possibly justify £95 on a pair of jeans now I'm on the Christmas run down... (3 DC, 2 of which also have December birthdays!)
If anyone sees anything similar but half the price let me know.

@Ella you are so good for ideas (I’m the opposite!) I have navy brogues and never know how to wear them. As the wear changes I’ll try them with my mom style jeans.

I get so much inspiration from others on here too... am currently waiting for a pair of boots like @Laska5772's to arrive - ordered them after seeing her photos of her in the zebra skirt with biker boots. Managed to find a reasonable pair online last night. Now must stop spending!
I'm still coveting a pair of DM's - the classic lace up ones but they will be my Christmas present.

Brand Valley have some Scott & Scott cashmere jumpers on sale at the moment. Does anyone know what they’re quality is like? There are a couple that I really like including a very Hush like hoodie with stars on.

Ella the dye projects looks amazing, will keep an eye out when next at shops for jeans, yy brogues with mom style jeans I have a R&B pair that look pretty good.
Laska I look those trousers & think you would look good in them, as you have the height unlike moi😃
Afingeroffudge love those shoes & coat is a bargain, M&S have a short faux fur jacket in at the moment, I think it’s red as well might be worth a look.

ella I am so chuffed that I inspired you!! I'm an old gimmer FFs!

What biker boots have you ordered? Mine are Clarks 'National Sugar' and so old (about 4 yrs old) .. I'm terrified of them wearing out actually have 3 pairs! 2 black and one grey .Pairs 2&3 were bought on ebay and have been resoled twice so far ..

Len I do hope the trousers are good , I love the shape of them and the burgundy colour.I think they could look great with my rose tan cashmere boat neck (from Hush sale not Brand alley sadly) and the Nude Brayebrooks .. fingers crossed.

I've seen that M&S red faux fur coat , I think the lapels are a bit wide sadly ..

@Laska5772 they are unbranded from amazon so maybe an end of line or something? Not sure but I'll post a pic when they arrive. I loved your photos of you in the chunky jumper and leather skirt too.

ooh Im feeling super chuffed now! Youve been one of my style icons here! .. but actually we are all fab!! Right bed and Brew now before i effuse too much. I've had a couple of Wine this evening. Its no longer a working day on Fridays so the weekend has started. !! Grin

I'm liking some of the john Lewis Kin stuff this season ( but when I've tried it before it always seems to big on me) some of it is very Hush like this sweat. They have some nice wide cropped jeans also. I can see those with my lovely new sweater!

I may go over on Monday and have a mosey..

inforthelonghaul Scott & Scott Cashmere is good quality. I bought several jumpers last year and it’s better quality than Pure, Boden & Wrap.

Hem on florence skirt which apart from the name is practically the same design. A proper hem as you can see.

And its like this in several places including the side seam. Definitely emailing them. Will post a picture of the hem on my Florence skirt to show you how cheap hush have been.
