FOMO?

Nearlyadoctor · 30/08/2018 20:31

Fear of missing out I think @Laska

SoyYo · 30/08/2018 20:33

laska solidaridad is the perfect word and here’s a virtual “Salud!” Wine from my Argentine Malbec (only red allowed in this house)
Good ideas on the leopard, agree I don’t want to shorten mine further either.

Remus you have some great styling tips always! Couldn’t add anymore regarding the metallic ankle boots which btw are really lovely and not at all difficult to combine with so many things. Metallic to me is a neutral

SoyYo · 30/08/2018 20:35

Yes thanks nearly
FOMO is Fear of Missing Out.
Love the print on that dress from the 1st day I saw on website.
Sometimes I hesitate too long with bold prints and so I thought now or never Wink

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 30/08/2018 20:39

Thanks, SoYo - just wish I was half as stylish in reality!

Laska5772 · 30/08/2018 20:41

Chilean Malbec here..

I want a petrol star T also ( but what will the post lady say?)

I like that Melody dress but I think its too floaty for me. But I also really want a black floral dress now ! I want the fabric and style of the M&S one but smaller and WITHOUT THE RUDDY FRILL stamps foot

.....Laska Flounces off to trawl websites.... Trouble is dont want to buy from House of Fraser now because I hate who's bought them .

Talisin · 30/08/2018 20:46

I have the petrol star tee, I was wearing it until a few minutes ago in fact. It’s lovely. Honestly, just get it.

DavetheCat2001 · 30/08/2018 20:46

I've just got in from Pilates and somehow accidentally bought a bottle of Sauvignon on the way home...mmmm wine Grin

Haven't done any exercise for a couple of weeks now and am really feeling it. Hoping Pilates this eve will help stretch me out bit as I have been waking up in agony with my shoulders the last few days.

Hanging onto the Raven dress until my next order arrives, then I'll decide between that and the wide top..I do think I'd wear the Raven lots, but it does just look like a big jersey top..for £55..finding that price tough to reconcile.

Don't tempt me with the petrol star tee...I'm going to be bankrupt!

@PorpoisefullyObtuse I've ebayed a few things this week, made £60 so far and have have bids on items that still have 6 days to go. I find it helps to post a photo of yourself in the item (head excluded if you like, not like on here). All the items I've sold really quickly have been ones I've done that with, I think it helps when people can see what it looks like on a real person not a model. They also get a true idea of sizing, if I give my measurements it often helps avoid all those thousands of messages you then get asking for exact measurement of armpit to wrist etc etc.

Ellapaella · 30/08/2018 20:55

Anything by Joules, Boden or Hush is pretty much guaranteed to be sold.

Ellapaella · 30/08/2018 20:57

Oh and I sold my Saltwaters (I just never wore them) and they got snapped up literally 3 minutes after I listed them!

PorpoisefullyObtuse · 30/08/2018 20:59

I’ve dipped my toe in the water on the hush selling page. Will see how it goes. If not eBay it is next week. Just getting a manageable batch of stuff together so it’s easy to post after the weekend.

Ellapaella · 30/08/2018 20:59

Sorry for all the multiple post but I have to say M & S seem to be coming up trumps at the moment. They have lots of nice stuff on the website. I hope they do a Sparks event soon as I have loads of points - I spent £170 on bloody school uniform in there last week.

PorpoisefullyObtuse · 30/08/2018 21:01

Do you do buy it now or auction? It’s years since I did much ebaying and I’ve become deskilled...

SoyYo · 30/08/2018 21:01

Ah ella not wanting to dismiss your tip but everything looks fabulous on you so no wonder your stuff sells like hot cakes Grin
Same with dave and to add I’m sooo missing my Pilates since ankle break...it’s the longest I’ve gone in 3 years without classes and I can see my tummy morphing into a blob. Have already booked myself for rehab classes end of Sept after my hols and I know once I go back I’ll just feel so much better about myself

talisin yes on the petrol blue long sleeve T very much looking forward to receiving Smile

PorpoisefullyObtuse · 30/08/2018 21:03

I was at Pilates for first time since June last night and my neck is suffering... too much abdo prep and not enough abs.

Laska5772 · 30/08/2018 21:12

never Didnt you say you had Hush friends back? Is it next day? I have free delivery but its not Hush friends next day Sad

Ellapaella · 30/08/2018 21:12

@PorpoisefullyObtuse I do both. I set it at auction but do a 'buy it now' option as well.
I need to do something for my neck - years of nursing (many of it on the old days before health and safety when we just had to get on and lift everyone) have buggered it. I take a lot of pain killers for my neck, I'm sure it's a trigger for my migraines. I've done the whole chiropractor and osteopathy thing - doesn't help much. Those of you who do Pilates do you think it would help?

neveradullmoment99 · 30/08/2018 21:13

I definitely have it. I ordered stuff and it will come tomorrow. Are you sure you don't have it? Have you logged in? It wont show unless you log in.

Nearlyadoctor · 30/08/2018 21:13

Dave if you like the jersey top as well, I would get both ( but that’s just me, not enabling at all obviously). The dress looks really great on you and as you’ve shown can be dressed up or down.

Nearlyadoctor · 30/08/2018 21:15

And assuming of course you won’t have to starve yourself or your nearest and dearest to do so!

Nearlyadoctor · 30/08/2018 21:16

I’ve got Hush friends with next day delivery back again as well Laska.

Laska5772 · 30/08/2018 21:16

Yes logged in , have free delivery but it doesnt say Hush friends and delivery 2-3 days.. perhaps i have sent too much back?

neveradullmoment99 · 30/08/2018 21:18

How annoying. You still buy loads though. I would be upset :(
