Micro blading is this a disaster or not? (picture included)

So I went to get my eyebrows microbladed yesterday, after months of deliberation.
I was very clear that I wanted my eyebrows evened up as they were oddly shaped, and filled in ... I was very clear I didn't want really thick sluggy eyebrows.
I'm absolutely horrified by my eyebrows now, a day later and I want to cry! I feel ridiculous! they're so dark and they appear waaaaay too thick for my face - this is not what I wanted at all!!
Please can someone tell me they will go down and look normal again?! Has someone done a horrendous job on me or not.. been staring at them in the mirror for so long I really can't even tell any more.
The artist who did them was very experienced and apparently one of the best in the area!!
Please note I've got layers and layers Vasoline on them hence why they look so shiny in the future

Haha @Joe66

Hi all update from me on progress. I went to my six week touchup two days ago- She basically filled in a few areas that are faded thickened the 'tail' a little bit and rounded it out over the nose so the lines weren't so shop. I have to go through the after-care process again for seven days and then shouldn't need these doing again for at least another year.
I love date again in about a week which will be the absolute final results :)

sorry that voice typing didn't work so well!!

  • not so sharp over the nose
  • I will update again in one week

I love them and think that they look better thicker. Iv had mine done for 5 years now and they do carry on fading until you get then topped up after around a year.
Where I go costs £300 with top up.

Op, your eyebrows look amazing, I’m looking forward to the update Smile

I actually thought microblading was when someone shaved their eyes with a micro blade Blush

Ok- final update. This is 2 weeks after final touch up (so 8 weeks since initial microblading session)
I'm very happy and it makes all the difference to have your brows already done in the morning.. I've gained at least 30 mins of time back per week!

The left brow is ever so slightly higher so I'm going to go back and get a couple of additional strokes to even this out

SadieLancaster · 26/09/2018 05:05

Tbh they are a bit scary... my friend had hers done and they looked fab immediately. The strokes were so natural looking you really couldn’t tell which were real hairs and which were tattooed.

Did you ask for hair strokes? It looks as if they thought you wanted the blocker ones - some people do prefer that look.

Don’t panic though - I reckon they’ll fade.

SadieLancaster · 26/09/2018 05:07

*blockier.

SadieLancaster · 26/09/2018 05:08

Just noticed you’ve updated and you’re happy with them - cool 😁

Unobtainable · 26/09/2018 15:34

Looks great OP. Glad you're pleased with them.

Does anyone know what type of microblading this is? I'd like to get mine done but want this kind. Do they use a different tool?

BlancheM · 26/09/2018 15:45

Unobtainable they look like HD brows to me, I'll be very impressed if they're microbladed.

Lonelynessie · 26/09/2018 15:59

Those are microbladed - I had similar. I didn't want the 'filled in' look and went for hair strokes instead.

I had mine with Nez Hasan, she's fab.

Unobtainable · 26/09/2018 16:18

Ah, so it's all microblading, just different types.

BlancheM · 26/09/2018 16:21

In that case, I'm amazed (and impressed)!

Unobtainable · 26/09/2018 16:45

Her portfolio is amazing.

Sallygoroundthemoon · 26/09/2018 17:00

Gosh. They are still pretty full on. I'm guessing this trend is not for me.

SadieLancaster · 26/09/2018 17:51

Unobtainable - that’s like my friend’s result. Fab. It’s all microblading - just some people like a more realistic result.

MiniCooperLover · 01/10/2018 19:34

That's exactly what I'm hoping for when I have them done late October. A bit nervous but excited.

Ollivander84 · 01/10/2018 19:54

Mine have been done about 10 months or so now and look really natural

MiniCooperLover · 02/10/2018 08:03

Ollivander84, would you mind posting a pic of your brows?

MozzieMagnet · 02/10/2018 08:17

Controversial question for me, the ignorant....
This is tattooing, right? So permanent, even when faded?
What's going to happen to all you young lovelies when you get old?
Like old, old? white hair and brown brows or dyed hair to match brows til the end of time?
I like your brows, I do. Just curious as to the longer picture.

Ollivander84 · 02/10/2018 08:33

Mini - sure but I only have before and after (like straight after!) or with brow gel Grin
Here you go. I can take one tonight with no makeup!

Aspenfrost · 02/10/2018 11:16

Sorry but those brows are completely over the top.

Aspenfrost · 02/10/2018 11:19

To OP.
A natural brow is so much more attractive. As for them being matching, they shouldn’t match. The point is nature does not match things. Beauty is in the individuality.
