Micro blading is this a disaster or not? (picture included)

So I went to get my eyebrows microbladed yesterday, after months of deliberation.
I was very clear that I wanted my eyebrows evened up as they were oddly shaped, and filled in ... I was very clear I didn't want really thick sluggy eyebrows.
I'm absolutely horrified by my eyebrows now, a day later and I want to cry! I feel ridiculous! they're so dark and they appear waaaaay too thick for my face - this is not what I wanted at all!!
Please can someone tell me they will go down and look normal again?! Has someone done a horrendous job on me or not.. been staring at them in the mirror for so long I really can't even tell any more.
The artist who did them was very experienced and apparently one of the best in the area!!
Please note I've got layers and layers Vasoline on them hence why they look so shiny in the future

Mine look exactly like they do when I have them tinted. They've just been made darker, not thicker

MiniCooperLover · 02/10/2018 11:49

Aspenfrost, it's all so easy to say 'a natural
Brow is more attractive', but some people don't have brows and this is something to help them feel better. Thank you Ollivander, yours look great 👍

Aspenfrost · 02/10/2018 12:15

If people do not have brows for whatever reason, then of course this is an excellent option. Surely everyone accepts that!

However, many young girls also go for this fake look and they do not lack naturally beautiful brows at all.

Ollivander84 · 02/10/2018 12:20

Mine are so fair they are invisible, tinting wears off too quick for me and so I had them done. Mine are micropigmentation so done with a machine

SadieLancaster · 02/10/2018 14:08

Ooh Ollivander now THAT is what I call a good result!

knockknockknock · 02/10/2018 17:21

So I might be being a bit thick but don't you still have to pluck your eyebrows to keep the shape? Surely it's easy to muck up the bits that have been done?

luckycat007 · 02/10/2018 17:46

@knockknockknock I wonder that too!!

Ollivander84 · 02/10/2018 19:13

You have to pluck yes, but for me it gives a guide to follow. You can't really mess it up because the hair strokes will hide anything you pluck

knockknockknock · 02/10/2018 21:28

@Ollivander84 That makes sense. Thank you.

luckycat007 · 13/10/2018 21:34

@Ollivander84 I think they look bloody great. I'm too chicken to go for it myself though as if they fuck it up you are pretty screwed.

Ollivander84 · 13/10/2018 21:53

lucky - I was SO nervous, but I had followed her for ages on instagram. Was browsing one night and she posted she needed a model for her trainees at her academy so I messaged and got accepted
They didn't do one hair stroke without her approval and the actual measuring and drawing took well over an hour

Alwa · 13/10/2018 22:08

They look great Ollivander, really natural.

I'm scared of looking too blocky.

luckycat007 · 13/10/2018 22:21

@Ollivander84 would you mind sharing her Instagram name? I'd be most grateful. And thank you 😊

user1483644229 · 13/10/2018 22:26

I generally think microblading can look a bit weird but yours actually look good. I think once some of the colour/depth of colour settles down they will be good. I don’t think they are too thick - that thickness suits you. You are just not used to them.

Ollivander84 · 13/10/2018 22:53

@luckycat007 sure it's olivianaylormua

GallusKat · 13/10/2018 22:55

I think yours are gorgeous and thick! Exactly how I wanted mine but mine are quite fine (still love them though).

GallusKat · 13/10/2018 23:04

I'd have liked to suit the shape you have but these are mine.

AllTheChocolateMice · 13/10/2018 23:06

Mine are so light even though I have naturally really dark hair and although they are ok thickness wise one end I have no tail end and they just look silly

Microblading has been fantastic for me. I love them, they arnt thick because naturally my eyebrows arn’t thick but they are now darker, end where most people’s do and are a nice shape

I’m pretty sure people I don’t know don’t even notice, I’ve not had anyone stare or tslk to them yet 😂

luckycat007 · 13/10/2018 23:34

Thank you. I will give her a call 😊

Ashbaker · 06/04/2019 07:05

I just had mine done yesterday and she said she used a medium brown and now they look like a red orange color and I don't even match I am so freaking embarrassed I want to cry

Oldraver · 06/04/2019 07:44

You paid to have that done ? Shock

TapasForTwo · 06/04/2019 07:52

I wish my eyebrows looked like your "before" photo Sad

lubeybooby · 06/04/2019 08:06

with microblading you can't really tell til the healing is finished OP

I think they will be fine

when Ellie on Ellie and Jared youtube channel got hers done I was like WTF but it's about a month on now and they are lovely. Much lighter and very natural

Hiddenaspie1973 · 06/04/2019 08:14

They looked better before and a brow mascara would suffice. You've got good natural brows.
But the new brows will look better soon.
