Best thing I ever bought was a 1971 sample set for Avon Ladies to take out and about with them. They turn up regularly.

I seem to have got my mojo back. I've resigned myself to the fact that I am virtually wholly a vintage girl- or at least perfumes with a vintage feel. I think I was getting frustrated at myself trying to make myself like things because I thought I should (modern niche etc) I'm just going to let myself wallow in the past, with the odd foray into modern (Mr Tauer once the weather turns, for example)

I’ve just ordered some samples from Aftel Perfumes rather thrillingly!
Ambergris, bergamoss, cepes & tuberose, fir and Wild Rose. Postage is expensive but hopefully very worth it. I’m literally so excited 😀.
Sotd is Pure Distance Antonia. The grown up version of Safari without the in your face Galbanum & ambery notes.

I wish Coty would bring back Wild Musk.
