I get married in 4 months. Bought a gorgeous dress when I was still losing baby weight and Ive got as far as I can go and my ribcage just wont fit the dress.

I dont have much money left in the wedding budget for a replacement dress (the other dress has been up for sale since January and haven't had any luck selling it)/

These are the 3 I think might be ok.

Im 5ft 4, suit skater styles since having a baby as tummy not great, im a size 12/14 pear shape.

Ive always wanted a bit of lace which is part of the reason Ive chosen these.
I didnt want anything low cut or too revealing up top.

Id always fancied a pink dress (its my second wedding), so the long white one is a bit of a wildcard for me.

Please help!

I really like them all. The third is probably the best for a bride.

Haberpop · 04/07/2018 16:42

I love the first one.

haverhill · 04/07/2018 16:43

I think either pink one would be lovely; if you're a pear I would avoid the white one as the cut will emphasis your hips which you may not want (or maybe you do!).
I actually love both pink ones and would happily wear either. The only thing is: be careful about buying super-cheap formal dresses online - I have heard some horror stories about them being nothing like the pictures.

Monty27 · 04/07/2018 16:44

Second one for me.

springmachine · 04/07/2018 16:45

Thanks, I'm really wondering if I buy something cheaper that people will look at me and think I've scrimped.

They look lovely in photos though.

I'm 33, and feel I should look elegant and graceful, but I am looking forward to the dancing and eating so want to be unrestricted for that too

both the pink ones are gorgeous.

BlackAmericanoNoSugar · 04/07/2018 16:47

I really like the chiffon skirt of middle one, but slightly prefer the neckline of the first one. The third one is pretty, but my least favourite of the three.

Justgivemesomepeace · 04/07/2018 16:47

I can't pick between the first 2. Both gorgeous. I think the second one might just have it but I think I'd like to see which suited me the best. Both are beautiful.

I’d be worried that to get number 3 to comfortably fit hips that it might look a bit loose around the bust (unless you have alterations in mind) but agree that there’s less chance of a guest wearing a long white frock than a pink one!

I do like them all ( though number 1 does look like it’s squashing the model’s bust)

FadedRed · 04/07/2018 16:49

All of them are lovely. If I had to choose, then the first one, but only by a whisker.

Fluffybat · 04/07/2018 16:49

I love the second 😊 it's stunning.

Ifonlyiweretaller · 04/07/2018 16:50

Loved the first but then I saw the second one - so no.2 is my favourite. Gorgeous pink. Number 3 doesn't do it for me at all.

LIZS · 04/07/2018 16:50

Prefer first of the pink ones but ivory style definitely more bridal

soloula · 04/07/2018 16:50

I love the first one. The second one is a bit busy round the neckline for me especially if you were going to accessorise something on your head/hair.

nothanksbyenow · 04/07/2018 16:51

The first one is gorgeous

HamishTheTalkingCactus · 04/07/2018 16:52

1 and 2 both look lovely, 3 looks like it could be rather clingy and unflattering

VodkaRevelation · 04/07/2018 16:53

I think the 1st one is gorgeous. The detail on the top of the second looks a bit heavy but that’s my taste. Love the skirt though.

Mitzimaybe · 04/07/2018 16:53

For the third one to look good you need to be tall and stick thin. The second is my favourite. I like the first one too.

TheGoldenWolfFleece · 04/07/2018 16:57

Number one is my favourite but they all look beautiful. If you have enough money to spend £100 then is it possible for you to have your current dress let out? If you find a decent seamstress they can usually work a little miracle.

PizzaAndChips · 04/07/2018 16:57

No2 definitely if you want pink. It's gorgeous. Alternatively, could you spend the £100 on a seamstress letting your original dress out so it'll go around your rib cage? Could perhaps have a panel put in.

CaliforniaLoove · 04/07/2018 16:58

I love the second one. Lovely colour and shape, love the idea of pink for a bride.

PizzaAndChips · 04/07/2018 16:58

Cross post Grin

Ginorchoc · 04/07/2018 16:58

I like the 2nd.

Hoppinggreen · 04/07/2018 16:59

I like number 1

weemouse · 04/07/2018 16:59

No2 is just lovely and the pink is fabulous
