I get married in 4 months. Bought a gorgeous dress when I was still losing baby weight and Ive got as far as I can go and my ribcage just wont fit the dress.

I dont have much money left in the wedding budget for a replacement dress (the other dress has been up for sale since January and haven't had any luck selling it)/

These are the 3 I think might be ok.

Im 5ft 4, suit skater styles since having a baby as tummy not great, im a size 12/14 pear shape.

Ive always wanted a bit of lace which is part of the reason Ive chosen these.
I didnt want anything low cut or too revealing up top.

Id always fancied a pink dress (its my second wedding), so the long white one is a bit of a wildcard for me.

Please help!

In addition to my original post then - does anyone know what Chi Chi are like for returns?

I've bought and returned to Chi Chi very recently. No problems at all. I returned via ASDA and the refund was almost immediate.

SmellyNelly2018 · 04/07/2018 20:11

I like the middle one best

Emma198 · 04/07/2018 20:11

They're not bad for returns but if they've got them in stock at ASOS, they're better x

Floradoranora · 04/07/2018 20:13

OP, all 3 of the dresses are beautiful. You have fabulous style and whilst I like the white one I think either of the pink ones just have the edge.

bourbonbiccy · 04/07/2018 20:22

I would pick number 2 , it would look beautiful with tresselled hair. Have a lovely day

stressedoutpa · 04/07/2018 20:28

Number three for me. The other two look like bridesmaids dresses.

greenlavender · 04/07/2018 20:42

I love them all!

SemiAquaticEggLayingMammal · 04/07/2018 21:05

Number 1. Because its a darker shade- number 2 is pretty but it's a very pale colour which I think is hard for a lot of complexions to carry. If you are a redhead with pale skin like me DONT DO DRESS NO.2 YOU WILL LOOK LIKE A GHOST GrinGrinGrin

DuchessMinnie · 04/07/2018 21:23

You have great taste OP. Can I be really cheeky and ask where number 2 is from? I am also looking for a dress and this looks like and interesting shop/designer to check out.

springmachine · 04/07/2018 21:30

@DuchessMinnie both dress number 1 & 2 is by ChiChi London. Although dress 1 I've only found for sale through Dorothy Perkins.

Dress 2 is called Billie.

@DuchessMinnie & thank you Smile

If it helps colour wise - I'm dark haired and fair - light olive skin tone

Boobs are medium - not huge , not tiny.

Arms aren't my most favourite feature as they are quite muscle but look just chunky to me.

Legs I'm happy with.

I've bought and returned chi chi no problems, however I found them really bad quality.

Do you like this op?

faloma · 04/07/2018 21:38

1, 3 and 2 in that order. But try them on and choose the one you feel most comfy in!

krustykittens · 04/07/2018 21:39

I love the second one!

DuchessMinnie · 04/07/2018 21:40

Thank you so much- that will keep me busy Smile

springmachine · 04/07/2018 22:27

@sparklefarts that's a shame about the quality.

I don't know anyone who's bought from them so was just hoping for he best.

The monsoon dress is lovely but its a bit more casual and not as puffy as I'd like

How about this for the more traditional bridal dress www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10701_10001_33678+12558320_-1

Mamaohana · 04/07/2018 22:54

I adore the first two but they are more bridesmaid than bride. Couldn’t you spend the money on getting your original dress altered by a seamstress? It’s surely quite common for ladies to buy dresses/fall pregnant/gain or lose weight etc, they probably know some cunning ways to get the dress to fit. Seems a shame to waste a perfectly good wedding dress.

Lsnowe · 04/07/2018 22:54

No 2

PrimalLass · 04/07/2018 22:55

First one

mmmgoats · 04/07/2018 22:56

I’m a pear shape and wore a similar shape to the white one on my wedding day - normally shy about showing off my hips but I felt fantastic, it really showed off my shape in a good way :) so I think number three.
Unless of course you are very self conscious about hips then number 2!

AgathaRaisinsCat · 04/07/2018 22:59

I would definitely see if you can get the original dress altered before looking for something new.

Ohyesiam · 04/07/2018 23:01

Number 3 looks like a very generic samey bridal dress. I like 1&2, with 2 being my favourite.
