Ive picked out 3 sub £100 wedding dresses - help me pls!

I get married in 4 months. Bought a gorgeous dress when I was still losing baby weight and Ive got as far as I can go and my ribcage just wont fit the dress.

I dont have much money left in the wedding budget for a replacement dress (the other dress has been up for sale since January and haven't had any luck selling it)/

These are the 3 I think might be ok.

Im 5ft 4, suit skater styles since having a baby as tummy not great, im a size 12/14 pear shape.

Ive always wanted a bit of lace which is part of the reason Ive chosen these.
I didnt want anything low cut or too revealing up top.

Id always fancied a pink dress (its my second wedding), so the long white one is a bit of a wildcard for me.

Please help!

I love them all but think of the two pink ones number 1 would flatter post baby figure. Number two with the high slight frilly neck line will emphasise a big chest. But you might not have one..

ImogenTubbs · 04/07/2018 18:42

I like the second one. People will think what they think - sod that. Do what you want, with confidence and enjoy yourself. Congratulations!

seven201 · 04/07/2018 18:43

I really like 2. Depends what they look
Like on though! Can you order one and two then see which is best? Or can you get your current dress taken out around the ribs a bit?

ImogenTubbs · 04/07/2018 18:44

And just to add to that - none of them look cheap so I don't see why anyone would judge.

Lucked · 04/07/2018 18:45

I like 2 but if you can manage I think you should order all three and return two. Things never look and fit as you expect

Iloveacurry · 04/07/2018 18:49

The 2nd one

MadisonAvenue · 04/07/2018 18:52

The second one, with the first coming pretty close. They're both really lovely though.

bababia · 04/07/2018 18:52

I prefer number two. I think the colour is prettier too.

I was wondering about the original dress. You say the rib cage doesn’t work? Often wedding dresses are boned or structured in such a way that a bra isn’t essential. If that’s the case you could very easily get it altered to have a laced back, or if you wanted to be able to wear a bra, you could probably still get an additional panel put into to go under the lacing. It might be worth finding a dress maker to see what they think - or you could pop a picture up and see if the wisdom of mumsnet can offer any ideas!

I like number 1 best. I think the neckline is prettier than the mandarin style of number 2, and the lace across the shoulders is prettier too.

I also like that the hem is embroidered, and I think that gives the whole dress a very classy couture look, very elegant, which is missing in the number 2 dress.
I like number 3, and it's the most "bridal" dress, but it will look best on someone very slender.

I think if you wore number 1 you should have very simple elegant head dress, flowers.

2
... all 3 are really lovely :)

wtffgs · 04/07/2018 19:07

Third one - I hate the sugary colour of the other two.

Have a fab day whatever you wear (and I hope the footy's not on WinkGrin)

MizCracker · 04/07/2018 19:08

1 and 2 are both nice but I prefer 2. Love the lace and the cap sleeves.

Wishfulmakeupping · 04/07/2018 19:09

No 2

Strawberry2017 · 04/07/2018 19:13

I like the first 2 best!

thewreckofthehesperus · 04/07/2018 19:15

I love the first one!

Pixilicious · 04/07/2018 19:17

No 2

Claricestarling1 · 04/07/2018 19:20

Number 2..it looks more expensive and the skirt is gorgeous!!

DoraJar · 04/07/2018 19:20

Number 2

WooYa · 04/07/2018 19:21

2 😍

tribpot · 04/07/2018 19:35

I vote number 2 as well. Hope you have a lovely day, OP.

GissASquizz · 04/07/2018 19:46

Wow - number 2 has a lot of love.
It was the first one I came across.

I've ordered all 3! (In multiple sizes)
So although the credit card is well and truly bashed, in a few days time I should hopefully have them all and can try them on in the comfort of my own home and then return the ones that aren't right.

I keep thinking I should look like a conventional bride which is why dress 3 is in the lineup but deep down I'd rather be unconventional.

There is a risk that someone might wear a pink dress to the wedding but I've never seen anyone wear pink to any weddings I've been to so far.

Itl definitely surprise some people as I'm very much a wearer or dark colours.
