Some unusual lavender Judy

MrsL your envelope arrived open, avec letter but sans other things Sad

PestymcPestFace · 13/06/2018 21:46

library of fragrance? TKMaxx had Honeysuckle, and Peony in store a few weeks ago.

MrsLucas · 13/06/2018 21:48

Oh no Pest Sad. Will get some more out to you at the weekend.

Coffeecoffeebuzzbuzzbuzz · 13/06/2018 21:56

Library of fragrance honeysuckle is very pleasant and quite realistic. Linear though, and fleeting on me. Can’t really complain for the £4 it cost though Smile

PestymcPestFace · 13/06/2018 22:07

Search by note at Allbeauty (just use the search box, can cope with multiple notes) has come up with a Guerlain chypre for honeysuckle and vetiver

Judydreamsofhorses · 13/06/2018 22:31

Thanks for all the lavender suggestions. I might take a punt on Luca’s pick. I can always use it as pillow spray...

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 13/06/2018 23:27

oh, i have that one pest it's rather lovely! I blind bought it and im glad i did, in fact i wore it just yesterday

BlueKittens · 14/06/2018 02:14

L’Artisan Bucoliques de Provance, you say MrsL it’s fabulous. It is all about the lavender and the iris. Love it.[I can’t sleep]

CountFosco · 14/06/2018 06:33

Jicky is another lavender heavy Guerlain, although a very gentlemanly lavender if that's an issue.

mrsreynolds · 14/06/2018 07:00

Ugh.

Another rubbish nights sleep.

Lots of errands to run today.

Sotd mrsgloss indoors.

MrsLucas · 14/06/2018 08:27

Jicky - that's an interesting one. Wish you got buy Guerlains in 10ml bottles.

SotD is Silences.

OCSock · 14/06/2018 08:56

I have a small Jicky decant (not much left in it, sadly) but the only Guerlain I have worn seriously is Chamade, and that was several decades back. My mum wears Mitsouko, so I never would.

MrsR, my Poundland had copious amounts of Girl, and I still have one left, if you'd like it, PM your address.

DH did not like Dandelion & Fig the silly old fool. Wondering about one of the Heeley's for today and minded to choose Cuir Pleine Fleur as a variation from the loveliness that is Feu Follet.

OCSock · 14/06/2018 09:00

I have recovered from the cobwebbing frenzy, and the Zoflora has been returned to the cupboard, so the spiders can resume work in safety, for a while.

SockJr has his last Physics A level exam today... yippee!

UnnecessaryFennel · 14/06/2018 09:28

SOTD IS ELDO Afternoon of a Faun. I thought this was rather odd when I first bought it, but have persevered and now enjoy it as still slightly odd but also rather lovely, soapy-yet-spicy, shapeshifting oddness. Selling it, aren't I? Grin

Anyway, just checking in from under a pile of exam papers and, tbh, a cloud of brexit-related anxiety which is most unlike me. I'm going to get my head down for the next couple of days and try to plough through, so if you see me on here, yell at me and tell me firmly to bugger off.

teta · 14/06/2018 09:39

Mrs Lucas a good honeysuckle is Annick Goutals Le Chevrefeuille. I also get quite a bit of honeysuckle from Fleur du matin.
I’ve absolutely no idea about lavender but do know it’s in my This Works sleep spray ( which is brilliant ).
Ocsock Thank you for the Perfumista recommendation. I have had a lovely trawl through the website this morning. Floofy that would be fantastic. Can I send you some samples in return?
Blue can you please pm me your address again?
I picked up my Tokyo milk and Caron sample box from Tk Maxx yesterday.
Now which one shall I try?

mrsreynolds · 14/06/2018 11:05

Pmed you sock x

mrsreynolds · 14/06/2018 11:12

I've been using that sleep spray...cant say it works for me :(

BlueKittens · 14/06/2018 11:36

Thanks teta will PM you x

SOTD is L’Artisan Skin on Skin. I now have a FB coming to me, last of my sample. Life is good Grin

mrsreynolds · 14/06/2018 17:09

Ugh

School music concert tonight

Next eau nude as it'll be hot and humid in the hall

CountFosco · 14/06/2018 18:55

SotD Fleurs de Sel again. Lasted ages, very happy with my new purchase!

Judydreamsofhorses · 14/06/2018 21:00

SOTD Heeley Hippie Rose.

MrsR I love that This Works sleep spray, but am currently using a bog standar Boots lavender one, because poor. The TW one works so, so much better and is top of my list to buy when DP gets paid.

mrsreynolds · 14/06/2018 21:07

Its a free sample I got judy...its nice bit can't day it's helped me sleep!

OCSock · 14/06/2018 21:33

998 messages... we need a new thread!

And I can still smell Cuir Pleine Fleur, as a very pretty soft floral now, no leather left, from this morning's spray. So some Heeley's do last, but it's in the lap of the gods ..........
