Morning all.

Happy 15th to your boy, mrsR

Hope things are OK now for you, pineapple

I love Nahema teta. Gorgeous.

I'm wearing one of my Arabian oils today, which I periodically wheel out when I'm feeling uninspired. Its Al-Haramain Noora - a very clean, slightly laundry-ish smell that dries down to a slightly sweet, white floral. Air con at work is on the blink, so I'm veering towards 'clean' smells this week.

My wedding anniversary tomorrow and out for a fancy dinner with DH. Pondering what to wear. He bought me Diorissimo EDP for my birthday this year, so thinking about that, maybe (I wore Stella McCartney on our wedding day, but that seems a bit obvious now).

mrsreynolds · 13/06/2018 11:10

Happy anniversary for tomorrow x

We are out for a meal tonight for ds1s b day.

BlueKittens · 13/06/2018 15:23

SOTD Prada Infusions Iris Cedre. Lush stuff on FB wish list

We’ll be needing a new thread soon!

BlueKittens · 13/06/2018 15:28

teta thank you Grin will take you up on your offer and would love to try tea for two - always wanted to try that! Have you tried L’Artisan skin on skin? I have a fb now can do you a decant ?

Will dig out my overflow samples/ decants and post here for anyone who wants them - lots of 4160s. Will wait til new thread though.

BlueKittens · 13/06/2018 15:30

Thank you Calm for your description of Scenthusiasm- am tempted - and thanks teta for your kindness to other lovely perfumistas Grin

Sorry you’ve been having a rubbish time pineapple Flowers

mrsreynolds · 13/06/2018 15:30

I gave my aunt and mum all my samples 😣

CountFosco · 13/06/2018 16:37

SotD Tea Escape. Light and refreshing. Not massive sillage.

Been binge reading I Scent You a Day and was wondering if anyone had ordered the La Jardin Retrouve set of mystery perfumes to try out?

OCSock · 13/06/2018 17:25

Perfumista.co.uk does decants of some of the Heeley's ; I know this because I got 10ml of Cardinal from them in the winter after I finished my sample; then I bought more samples so I have a back up of Sel Marin, plus a couple of others. Hated one (the tuberose heavy one, can't remember the name... Bubblegum something?) so passed that on here many threads ago.

SoTD is Zoflora! Linen Fresh, as I have been doing battle with the spiders and cobwebs that have been festooned across the windows and behind the sofas in the sitting room (which is mainly used at night, so they're not obvious to the casual observer). This remark probably belongs on the Housekeeping thread, but I don't go there often. .

OCSock · 13/06/2018 17:26

^^For Teta BTW.

BackByDopeDemand · 13/06/2018 18:38

SOTE is Floral Street Chypre Sublime. A sample from an old Big Sniff.

I remember the general consensus was underwhelming, but I really like it. If I was in the market for a new FB (which I am not! 😆) I would go for it.

Gentle but charming roses, violet, geranium. I’m not sure what’s Chypre about it. I’d call it a dreamy, ladylike floral.

CountFosco · 13/06/2018 18:44

I have done a bad thing. Popped into TKMaxx and they had lots of Miller Harris including Fleurs de Sel so obviously I had to buy it because I loved the sample I had a few months ago. They also had Fleurs de Matin and Pamplemousse (I was very tempted by both) so if anyone wants some PM me.

OCSock · 13/06/2018 19:58

SoTE is Dandelion & Fig (Shay & Blue) because it was on top of the samples in my drawer and I liked it as a summer scent in January when I got the box. My wrists smell lovely; the rest of me probably doesn't!

MrsLucas · 13/06/2018 20:01

I am still suggestible - now in Fleurs de Sel (and La Fumee on the other arm as I got the bottles mixed up Confused). Tonight FdS smells a bit like herbal henna. FdS is like Rosee de Nuit, at a casual glance you might expect floral notes, but of course you get salty aromatics and woody aromatics respectively (I guess if my French was better this wouldn't be a surprise...).

Sadly I've not been quite suggestible enough to reach for the Zoflora or deal with cobwebs. Would like another update on SoGoMo OC - is it working d'you think?

OCSock · 13/06/2018 20:20

Clearly, our house has busy energetic hyperactive spiders, probably because there are lots of flies to feast on. And very pure air.

BarbaraCartlandsFloofyCat · 13/06/2018 20:26

Lots of Bad Things going on here

MrsL I really miss Green as well. She was so lovely. I did PM her a few times when she was MIA, I sincerely hope all is OK. I'm afraid I'm not a Harry Potter fan but did have a dream about buying perfume for Elizabeth Woodville, clearly inspired by this thread!

Pineapple good to see you back! Hope things are better. The Amande is on my Must Try list as I loved the Iris so much (I know I'm late to the Prada Party hereGrin)

Teta I think I have a few spare Heeley samples about, I love Cardinal (and the other fairly similar one whose name escapes me) but the others don't seem to suit to me, I'll have a look and put them here if you would like them? Also need to do some "up for grabs" lists too as my sample boxes is too messy to bear, atm!

Sock I love Zoflora but have recently switched allegiance to Method - more £££ but just gorgeous. The grapefruit one is gorgeous!

Happy Anniversaries and birthdays to all 15 really is a tricky age, I think. Lucky that mine are actually quite lovely as well as stressful, I'll be glad when all mine are past this age!

Count very jealous that your TK Maxx is actually decent! Nice soap in mine but otherwise it's cardigans streeling on the floor and overpriced yoga mats. No lovely perfume, sadly.

OCSock · 13/06/2018 20:29

I think the SoGoMo is helping fight the good fight against clothes moths, but if I am being really scientific, I have thrown so much into the mix, that it's hard to judge. It smells a whole lot better than most moth repellants if that helps. I have a camphorwood chest (DMiL's from Asia), cedar and Lakeland bits to deter the bstards.

MrsLucas · 13/06/2018 20:34

Also keep looking at the Yatagan in TK Maxx and thinking about Frugal.

BlueKittens · 13/06/2018 20:37

Just popping onto day I LOVE Prada Infusions d’Amande and Shay & Blue Dandelion Fig! Good choices ladies Smile 😍

BlueKittens · 13/06/2018 20:37

*say not day

Judydreamsofhorses · 13/06/2018 20:56

SOTD Chanel 19 for my appraisal at work - which went brilliantly, so high fives for me.

I’m using Korres Lavender shower gel just now and have a hankering for a lavender perfume. Suggestions? Happy to spend big, but not blind, so would need to sample. (Also not until payday if big!)

Coffeecoffeebuzzbuzzbuzz · 13/06/2018 21:06

Well done judy. For an usual lavender I enjoyed Frederic Malle Music For a While. It’s a lavender and pineapple combination; quite polarising opinions on Fragrantica but it’s on my ever increasing FB list. It’s quite an in your face lavender.
SOTD mrs gloss indoors.

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 13/06/2018 21:06

OC the name you're looking for is Bubblegum Chic, it was me you passed it on to and I LOVED it!!!

SOTD was Pharell Williams Girl, one of the scents i took to america and i got a lot of compliments on it every time i wore it. Need to hunt out a full bottle i think, it's just one of those that 'works' for me

Did a bad thing and ordered 3, yes 3 full bottles, which were Casmir, Cinema and the Adam Levine for Women. Haven't tried any of them before but i love the risk of a blind buy Grin

mrsreynolds · 13/06/2018 21:22

I never found any PW girl in my Poundland :(

I must keep an eye out for it.

Sote sexiest scent extrait.

Ds2 being super clingy tonight. Sigh.

MrsLucas · 13/06/2018 21:32

Judy - some lavender ideas:

Luca Turin's top lavender pick: Caldey Abbey

The Lion Cupboard for lavender as part of a deeply woody/aromatic blend.

Can send you some Molinard Lavande if you're interested (vanillary lavender).

Haven't tried SL Gris Clair, L'Artisan's Mon Numero #4 or Bucoliques de Provance, C&S's Oxford & Cambridge, AG's Eau de Lavande or Caron's Pour un Homme, but would like to sniff.

Was a bit underwhelmed with Les Exclusifs Jersey when I tried, but need to try again.

MrsLucas · 13/06/2018 21:33

Now, can anyone help with honeysuckle?
