Here it is. In my bag for tomorrow!

auberginesrus · 01/05/2018 22:59

Ooh hadn't thought of coconut, might go for WIDOMH, which smells v coconut on me. Or one of my many lemony ones...

LibertyBlue · 01/05/2018 23:07

I’m enjoying the #LearnWithCountFosco posts Wink

I’m going with fruity citrus tomorrow - Roger and Gallet Cassis Frenese (Cassis, bergamot, lavender, pepper).

LibertyBlue · 01/05/2018 23:09

I love all the monothemes Ollivander always enjoy a good spray whenever I pass M&S beauty department

CountFosco · 01/05/2018 23:41

Last post today, SotD was Goodbye Picadilly as my Iris Odyssey continues. Tomorrow will be AC Silver Iris which should really be called Ribena.

UnnecessaryFennel · 02/05/2018 07:02

SOTD is, somewhat predictably, Rhubarb & Custard. I have a morning of teaching students to suture and then an afternoon of quilt embroidery. My job is odd sometimes 😁

MrsSettergren · 02/05/2018 08:19

What a great example of transferable skills Fennel Grin. I'm swerving Bat and going for Babylon Sunset.

Coffeecoffeebuzzbuzzbuzz · 02/05/2018 08:24

Thanks for all of the suggestions of citrus/orange fragrances- I will spend some time googling them later Smile.
unnecessaryfennel I love Rhubarb and custard but sadly don’t own it- I bought it for a friend. I may have to look at getting some at some point. SOTD is our modern lives yellow and layered with beta to try and increase its longevity. I’d forgotten I had some of these from the crowdfunding last year and while the lemon and orange (and coffee) is lovely it is so so fleeting on me. Looking forward to reading about everyone else’s choices.

AnotherPinkiePieStory · 02/05/2018 08:58

Hi after loving wearing DHs lovely Bertrand cologne on Sunday, I’m joining you in Pomegranate Noir! (Well the primark copy.) Used to love it and now I have moved away but it still the one that gets positive comments. Takes me back to 2010 and being a young childless professional. Might have to go clubbing to really get in the mood!

teta · 02/05/2018 09:00

Oh dear.
Completely forgot about the fruit-inspired theme and sprayed Heure Exquise. Have 5 lovely 10 ml bottles of perfume from the lovely Gerald.
Later will spritz Calyx - passion fruit, papaya etc.

OCSockOrphanage · 02/05/2018 09:05

With careful reading of last night's posts, the name-changing, shape-shifting Time Lord types have been reclassified. I quite fancy a name change, but have forgotten the password to my MN account!

Was there consensus on whether rhubarb is a fruit or a vegetable, or does its stalkiness rule it out entirely? Rhubarb & Citrus, or Bat (don't like it a great deal, or bananas either: wait, it will be Un Jardin sue le Nil, for the green mango! Decision made, not executed yet. Chores first!

OP posts:
OCSockOrphanage · 02/05/2018 09:06

...sur le Nil, obviously.

LuwakCoffee · 02/05/2018 09:19

New name... different beverage!

PestymcPestFace · 02/05/2018 09:46

Bangs head on desk in frustration of all the name changes Confused, whilst smelling of limes (Black Fleece again)

Motoko · 02/05/2018 09:46

I have to say, I'm feeling lost with all the namechanging. My brain has turned to mush after several rounds of chemo over the last few years, so I can't keep up.

I think I'd consider rhubarb as a fruit, even though it technically isn't, because we treat and eat it as one.

SOTD is Shay and Blue Blueberry Musk.

positivepineapple · 02/05/2018 10:03

SotD, for fruits of the citrus kind, is The White Company - Noir.

Ripe mandarin with lashings of Amber and sandalwood. It's not very complex but it's enjoyable nonetheless.

LuwakCoffee · 02/05/2018 10:15

SoTD is Un Jardin sur le Nil, and green mango for fruit. Last posted as OCSock earlier. The sock orphanage has not been needed recently, but the coffee consumption has rocketed ahead of A levels!

auberginesrus · 02/05/2018 10:32

Oh I thought I was keeping up with the name changes but now I'm not! SOTD is MG Lemon for the fruit and the fact it makes me smile. Feeling a bit miserable as I have cystitis again - docs later whete I foresee an argument about antibiotics.

Due to go on ds2s school trip tomorrow, the first one I have ever done and my last chance as he does a residential next year and then is in seniors. Have booked a day off work specially and everything, but won't make it if I feel like this.

Plus the weather is cold and awful again!

Moan over!

mrsreynolds · 02/05/2018 10:32

Oh good grief I did too!
Sotd is obsession

mrsreynolds · 02/05/2018 12:00

Oh this weather :(

ThenCameTheFools · 02/05/2018 13:13

I am predictably in Eau d'Hadrien. How much do I love this?

Also just took possession of an ancient bottle of Chanel 5 Eau de Cologne. One of those ebay buys where you feel a bit guilty because the seller doesn't know what they are selling- all they see is an old scraggy bottle, half full, no cap.

ThenCameTheFools · 02/05/2018 13:29

Oooh, just found a tester bottle 100ml of Eau d'Hadrien for 52 euro. That's a lot of Hadrien.....am very tempted.

Motoko · 02/05/2018 16:06

MrsG the smelling strip has come, it's gorgeous! Thanks for that, and also for the samples. Smile Which one is the orange one, and which is the clear one?
I haven't tried them yet, as I have another perfume on. I'll try them tomorrow.

Thanks again!

Buntyforgirls · 02/05/2018 17:49

Hello from the Big Sniff (from which, and these threads( am re -reading from thread 1) I am learning lots, enjoying lots and beginning to spend lots! Couldn't resist joining in today with a scent I adore but have never heard mentioned, sporty citrus by Michael kors. My happy smell!

Judydreamsofhorses · 02/05/2018 19:18

{waves} Ladies, I have been MIA. I fell down a hole of terrible googling, and then just stayed offline pretty much completely. Anyway, I saw the maxillo facial consultant today and there was NOTHING on the x-ray at all - they had a fancy 3D machine. He said the tooth is bruised through clenching, I think I need a different night guard. SO relieved. The clinic was awful, I had to wait 90 minutes (because the x-rays my dentist sent were crap and they needed new ones) but I am so glad I went and it’s over.

SOTD is Chanel 19. I’m not caught up, and have lost travk of the name changing, but hope everyone’s okay. 💋💋💋
