I don't mean I'll actually buy you anything (sorry if you got excited there), I'm just in the mood to do some browsing but can't justify getting anything at all for myself.

If you are having difficulty finding an outfit/item or you just hate the search please give me a brief and I'll do my best to help!

Maybe Cos or Gap for trousers.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 10/04/2018 19:52

These look nice

Haberpop · 10/04/2018 20:11

An outfit for mother of the bride? I am 5ft7 and a size 12, olive skinned with dark hair, I was a 10 until recently and I am struggling to get to grips with the extra weight and so I do not see myself in a positive light at all. I feel ridiculous in everything I wear and have no idea where to begin looking for a dress. It is an outdoor (hopefully) summer wedding at a Jacobean manor house with a casual style dress code (it was originally planned to be a wedding by the sea with a private beach but that has had to change but the theme is loosely still applying)

Uniglo18 · 10/04/2018 20:40

Haberpop book a complimentary stylist session with John Lewis. The stylist will styles which suit your body shape & colouring. There's no obligation to buy but it'll give you lots of ideas for future shopping trips.

Irvina Thankyou SO much, I love both the boots and the handbag and will order them now.
You're a star Star

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 10/04/2018 21:18

Haber - what colours do you like?

sockappella · 10/04/2018 21:28

OOH PICK ME, PICK ME!!!

A dress for dinner at The RITZ. No idea what to wear. I'm in my 30s, hardly any boob but very leggy (so nothing too short). Size 12.

I'll love you forever if you can find something suitable. Grin xxx

I'm looking for some size 8 trainers that will make me look like I have a vague clue about style but are also fairly neutral.

Moonflower12 · 10/04/2018 22:14

Going to a glamorous school friends (2nd) wedding. Will be lots of school fiends that I've not seen in a while. Need something to wear! I'm 5'3", size 14- fat tummy. Would prefer black, dark grey, dark red or purple. It's an evening wedding. Please help!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 10/04/2018 22:24

Moonflower - If budget will stretch, a Westwood would be amazing. Black
red

Or this from All Saints, maybe?

BigFatBloomers · 11/04/2018 09:16

@peonylover22
Any good for your red skirt?
Zalando

Haberpop · 11/04/2018 09:21

@RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie I like blues, greens, yellow (prefer a muted yellow and am not sure if I can carry it off as my skin tone can appear sallow at times), pale pink and purples.

BigFatBloomers · 11/04/2018 09:22

@zippyswife
I also spotted this leopard print skirt at Zara

(not sure you need to wear it with a Nordic jumper though Smile)

BigFatBloomers · 11/04/2018 09:37

peonylover22
There’s also this one with a small boat print

zippyswife · 11/04/2018 10:25

@bigfatbloomers thank you! I’m going to get out to a zara on Friday so I’m going to try it then. I’m thinking to wear it with white trainers white t-shirt and biker. Does that sound a bit too off/try hard?

BigFatBloomers · 11/04/2018 10:39

zippy. Sounds great. Hope the skirt is nice in real life.

zippyswife · 11/04/2018 13:34

@bigfatbloomers it looks lovely. It’s more weather it’ll suit my apple shape Confused

BigFatBloomers · 11/04/2018 14:06

@BadTasteFlump

Ugg leopard loafers surprisingly.

BigFatBloomers · 11/04/2018 14:16

@BadTasteFlump
Maybe too flat

Zalando

BigFatBloomers · 11/04/2018 14:34

@SneakyGremlins

Any more info on the sort of jumper you’re after - size, price, snazziness?

DH has a couple of these in different colours.

SneakyGremlins · 11/04/2018 15:03

Medium size, ideally

MamaTT · 11/04/2018 15:14

Oooh of you insist. I've got a black tie evening with work in 2 weeks at a posh country hotel. I hate dressing up and have huge body image issues so this isn't ideal at all but there's lots of clients who are expecting us so we have to go.
I'm 27, 5ft 10, size 10, not much in the boob department and have a wonderfully wobbly post partum belly.

BigFatBloomers · 11/04/2018 15:16

@SneakyGremlins
pink?

SneakyGremlins · 11/04/2018 15:32

Perfect! Grin
